Sorry if this a dumb question!
Very new poster, but an admirer of some of R.E.M's music from childhood. I'll admit, their music was a bit ahead of my time, but I was pretty precocious and I appreciated so many of their singles. Especially, LMR, Nightswimming, and I'll Take the Rain, among other hits. I was literally born in '92 lol.
The I'll Take the Rain MV stuck with me for a long time since I first heard and saw the MV in the 3rd grade through AOL. However, there's very little info on the director and any work he's made since. Does anyone know? Thinking of making a video essay on this (I have a small following online outside of Reddit, actually).

Looking for suggestions on recommandations for someone who loved reading Memo from Turner.
I think what he liked especially was the main character personnality, as well as the gritty thriller type, realism of the writing and real historical background the story happens in.
Looking for something that punches hard like this book, something that you'll remember.
He is an avid book reader, so anything before 2022, if it's any good in this genre, he's probably already read it.
Ideally something memorable from 2024.

Finally starting on my Taghmata Omnissiah after (mostly) finishing my Porphyrion. A Magos Dominus leading a unit of Castellax - will be adding a Thanatar-Cavas to this group at some point. The core of the army will be built around a Magaera or Atropos with two supporting Moirax, and then Thallax with transports for the main body of infantry with a single unit of Thralls for home field. A Myrmiddax Archmagos Prime and Myrmidon Secutors will provide heavy infantry. I would like to add a Thanatar-Calix whenever it comes out in plastic, but the points may not make sense. I just noticed that enclosure from title remain powered down when power loss occurs. It power up after power button on enclosure is pressed. This is a surprise to me as I planned to use it as external storage of my miniPC Proxmox setup on remote site.
Is that behaviour normal and is there anyth8ng I can do with this enclosure to power up on its own when main power comes back?

Hi! I’m in need of advice. Recently I found out that we had to move. Collectively we decided to rehome the cat we held interviews and vetted the people. We visited homes, drove past their houses at different times of the day, and did a home visit to see who would be the best fit for Neela the kitten. We choose what we thought was the best person for the job. Lon story short Neela has escaped from her new home and hasn’t been located. She is microchipped. I offered to pay 1/2 of the fee to have it transferred over to the new owner. Because I felt like we did our part I did not charge the new owner for the cat I provided all of Neela’s things- cat bed, cat playpen, cat tunnel, 2 bags of cat food, 6 bags of cat litter, toys, treats, collar, flea collar, cat tree, litter box, litter box bags, and catnip among other things. Since Neela has escaped from her new owner the owner has reached out to me and stated that PetLink won’t give him any information on her location. Which is true- PetLink isn’t a tracking device. It simply alerts you if some finds your missing baby so that you can be reunited. I told him that I would notify him if they notify me. They haven’t. He’s asked me to pay the transfer fee? I told him I would pay 1/2 because that’s what I agreed to do. I asked him has he asked his neighbors, went looking for her, double checked his home to find her. It has been cold here and Neela has never been outside. I’m worried about my baby even though she is no longer my baby. I feel like we made the wrong choice. Do I pay the fee to transfer the PetLink?
