2024.11.24 20:52 AppearanceMission747 I played the game a couple yrs ago and loved it. I understood the hate and actually agreed… but man I did not realize how bad it REALLY was until I replayed it. It’s worse than you remember.
Like Ellie just fucking hates Joel for no good reason. There is zero nuance. She just hates him. He stands up for her and even sings her a song. He wanted to so badly to connect with her he did these things.
Buuuuuuuuuuuuuut at the same time what the fuck is this old sad pile of garbage calling himself Joel? The whole point of Sarah dying is that he doesn’t give a fuck anymore. He went berserk and saved Ellie. He decided “fuck you” to all the people who stood against him and he got her back. Like a fucking badass. Joel does not give a FUCK what you think about him.
The correct response to Ellie’s bitchiness would be to tell her to get lost and go fuck herself. Not really, as Joel would be better versed than that, he’s a father after all.
If Joel was going to turn into a pansy ass pussy he would have done it while mourning his baby girl. But you know what he did instead? The second game implies he became a ruthless killer the moment he left his daughter’s corpse. Now that I can get behind
What’s stupid is this flip flop on the character. Like we all talk about how he wouldn’t have told the random group of kids his real name, but let’s look at how fundamentally different Joel is in the second game
Joel should have left Ellie in the night for that bullshit. The game should have been her trying to find him but then in the end she can’t, and it’s clear how important he is to her and how much protection he gave her. Imagine the deeper impact that would have been. Then it switches back to Joel instead of Abby, and your job is to get Ellie back, but after that you tell her to fuck off and just leave.
I would have loved that.

Hi All
We are having an open day for members of the public to come in and see what crossfit is all about at our box.
Thinking of doing 3 workouts over an hour and a half.
For those that have done this sort of thing previously, I'm just looking for some recommendations for shorter, basic crossfit workouts that could be done by anybody (no experience). But also shows what separates crossfit from a regular hiit gym.

I keep receiving letters from Reprobel that I have a legal obligation for a declaration.
