Accidentally deleted my last post, scheduled the interview through the Olivia bot on the site and had an interview today but I think I bombed it, even though i dressed professional and brought my resume and tried my best, my mind did blank on a couple questions and I probably seemed nervous. How do they usually contact you afterward? They didn’t ask for my email, only my phone number, I see they usually contact through email for hiring but didn’t ask for mine. Is that an indicator that I didn’t get the job?

I noticed this bleeding on my cats face (very small bloody spot near her mouth where there’s no hair growth surrounding) and I have no idea what it is or if I should bring her to the vet? I think she’s scratching the scabs off so it’s taking longer to heal. She’s extremely anxious and the vet is usually traumatizing for her (has to be put to sleep for any procedures) so I’m just trying to gauge how serious this is.

2024.11.24 23:08 Kammakazi I just upgraded from the 5600x to the 5700x3D and holy wow
I got the card from Aliexpress, despite thinking that it wouldn't even be delivered, but it actually arrived in 11 days. Got it from the seller "SZCPU Store" for $142.91. No bent or missing pins, practically pristine.
It's actually insane how much of a jump it is. I play on a 1440p 144hz monitor (Helldivers 2, The First Descendant, Warframe) and the 5600x kinda struggled and so I had to play on medium settings + cap my fps to 72. I built my system back in 2019, so I'm really riding out the AM4 til I really need an upgrade.
- MSI B450 Tomahawk (non-max)
- Ryzen 7 5700x3D
- Nvidia RTX 4070 Super
I think the biggest positive is that I can maintain stable fps with good visual settings, but also not having my cpu utilization at 80%+ like on my 5600x.
I get that having 100% cpu utilization can be good, but realistically, no one is having their game and only their game open - I have a stream or some sort of video playing on the side. Having that extra headroom for when you need to open applications is fantastic.
For anyone who has a similar setup and is still wanting to get the most out of AM4, I would definitely recommend a 5700x3D!!

on friday, i moved to a new state, so i need new friends too! also, my birthday is this tomorrow, i didn't expect to make it this far. how do you celebrate? it seems like it would be a happy time, but something feels off about it. so why not make it better with some new friends? i'd also like to open up the floor for anyone who needs someone to speak to tonight. i'm always here.
i'm soft-spoken, very timid & anxiety ridden. i love nurturing my friends, but i'm also often called chaotic good lol, so i might give you some snark & chaos, but i will love you through it all. with that being said, since i'm a severe introvert, my social battery depletes very easily & because of that, i take some time to myself. it's nothing personal! i usually often share this with my friends. ♡
since i'm not a yapper, it often takes me a minute to get comfortable & build up to a voice call. if you're someone who rushes into this immediately, i'm probably not the girl for you. i love building up to friendships, but if i feel comfy enough -- i'll hop into a call earlier. my friendship comes in the form of a judgement free zone, spotify songs, mother-like tendencies, & cat pics.
i'm a pc gamer, so if you game, let me know! i love cozy games, but most of them aren't co-op. lately, gaming has made me feel burnt out but i'm looking for people who might help me improve that. 😭i love games like: valorant (less than i used to but still), overwatch 2 (i'm really loving ana + bastion), hunt: showdown, party animals, & any other party game that is on sale or that we could play! i just love being with my friends, so idc if we're winning or losing. val customs is also a big thing my friends + i used to do, so maybe we can get that back up.
if a squirt bottle could laugh, it would sound like mine. proceed with caution on making me laugh (but it's honestly pretty easy to make me laugh). as i said before, i don't take without giving almost double, so if you're seeking a one-sided friendship, seek elsewhere.

I imagine there are multiple ways to go about it. But the most obvious in my head is to consist of a new origin which adds a "Adam" modifier to the home planet, which guarantees a game long series of events, projects, archeologic sites, and so on, like the "Ancient Empire" mod.
Everything about it fits into Stellaris gameplay so easily.
- Most "angels" can be leviathans which spawn far away in the galaxy and kill everything slowly moving to the planet with the Adam modifier. Some other angels can be situations or event chains if they don't follow typical kaiju format.
- There can be archeological sites related to Dead Sea Scrolls, White and Black moons, the first Ancestor Race as a new precursor, and so on.
- A lot of research and ethical choice to develop S2 engines, which could give your ships a lot of bonuses ("AT Fields") against the leviathan style angels. Maybe connecting psionic tech to all of this.
- Depending on the choices of the empire which owns the target planet, there can be multiple ways to conduct "Instrumentality", which could work as a new type os ascension.
- The game could be set at start so that only the target planet is affected by instrumentality/third impact, or the entire galaxy is. In the second case, every single angel would be seen by the galaxy as an endgame crisis, and so would instrumentality let by the target planet owner.
