I was gifted a book from my 4th grade teacher is 2015/2016. The cover had a simplified illustrated style with footprints across snow in a snowy forest or small town. I think there were red accents and an owl on the cover. The book was about a girl dejected about moving to a new town and learning to love it. I think the owl from the cover was also in the book. No fantasy, action, romance, or horror elements etc.

2024.11.24 22:31 Plink_Piano Telephone Cross Arms Complete with Insulators. Worth anything?
My Dad worked for the old Pacific Telephone & Telegraph (Ma Bell, now AT&T) for 35 years and brought home some cool things over the years. These cross arms with insulators have graced our back patio for as long as I can remember. I haven't been able to find out much about a value on them & am wondering if anyone can help me out. Any ideas? They're probably from the early 60's. Thanks for any info!

Hello, I am looking for any reasonable expression to ask for items on the menu in restaurants that do not contain soy, or contains soy in small quantities due to allergies. So in general contamination is OK, even light seasoning is OK, but primarily soy-based dishes like tofu are not OK.
I understand if it isn't reasonable to make a distinction between "small amount allowed" and "no amount allowed" in a short expression/sentence, so I am fine if only the latter is offered. Just please do point it out so I can know what is being said.
Essentially something that can express: - "Excuse me, which dishes (menu items) contain little or no soy? I have allergies and can only handle small amluntd of it"

I currently have a Bitfunx Adapter and that seemed okay at first. Iv'e noticed though that randomly the image which is super sharp goes blurry at random times. I eventually worked the issue down to the VGA signal coming from the Bitfunx adapter and how the TV processes the image. Apparently, my big TV is the only one that doesn't like the 480/60 image. Is there a plug and play solution that does any upscaling or would an internal HDMI solution be the route to go?

I am only 24 + 3 and struggling to deal with headaches and fee like a shell of myself and on autopilot and everyone I tell about this symptom just brushes it off. But these headaches are unlike anything I've ever felt before and start every single day. I truly don't know how I can handle possibly 16 more weeks of feeling like this. Did anyone else feel super sick and unable to make it through but still did and everything worked out in the end? Need motivation and positive comments right now.

your perfection with my failures
let me develop habits
watch me build my downfall
chase me away from success
force me to destroy myself
to understand
where it all went wrong
Maybe it was my fault
all made up in my mind
cascading colors
of fake dreams
bound by feeling
to this pathetic being
disgusted by myself
and alone I reside
distractions in my mind
begin to bind-
your perfection to my failures
I have developed habits
of constant reliance
on your kindness and perfection
now I destroy myself

into your face
