 | I have recently been experiencing issues with water pressure on a less then 4 month old kitchen faucet. I checked the supply line and pressure was good so I checked the aerator which was also fine. Then I checked the connection between supply and faucet (photographed) and it looks like there’s some kind of regulator in the actual connection. I removed it and now the sink has perfect water pressure. My question is whether or not this is an appropriate fix or are these regulator components essential to the longevity of the faucet? To calculate a value for the acceleration due to gravity, g, using the given launch speed, and new measured data for the launch angle, range, and target height. (Note: the launch height and landing height are not equal). Given information: • Initial speed: 3.00 m/s (± 7%) at the 1-click setting • Standard error in the mean = σ √n−1 n Apparatus available: • Projectile launcher • Steel ball • Cylinder with plasticine on top to act as target • Foam pad • Two-metre stick Method: New data must include three (3) successful trials, using only the 1-click setting and the angles specified at the lab station. Set the launcher to one of the specified angles. Load the ball to the 1-click setting. Fire the ball and note where the ball lands. Place the cylinder where you expect the ball will land at the centre of the top surface. Fire again. If the ball misses, adjust the cylinder position and try again. If the ball lands on the top surface, measure the range (from launcher to base of cylinder) and height (of cylinder). Repeat for the other two angles. For a trial to be considered successful, the ball must land on top of the cylinder (it may bounce off afterwards, but must clearly have landed on the top). Calculate the mean acceleration due to gravity g, sample standard deviation, and standard error in the mean. Define and label all terms used in your data and analysis. Show all work.

2024.11.25 01:50 Imaginary_Sugar4524 Problems jump starting car
Went to go try jump start my aunts dead car, connected the cables in the correct order but on the battery terminals, as I have done this before and had no problems, let the car run for about 3-6 minutes tried cranking and my battery was sparking, disconnected the cables and reconnected them but putting the last black lead to a grounded metal surface on her car, let my car run and then tried cranking car. It would turn over once or twice then make the dead battery clicking noise. Is it got to do with the fact it’s a bigger diesel engine and my little outback can’t start it or maybe the battery is completely gone.
Also concerned if any damage was done to my cabattery from the sparks, did I do something wrong with the connection, I’ve jumped my car a couple times with no sparks before. Just would like to hear from someone who’s got more experience and understanding in this as I’m not very confident in my knowledge in electricals.

Je me permets d'écrire ici car après avoir contacté mon université, l'immigration, des groupes de pvtistes... aucunes des réponses n'est la même et je suis un peu perdue.
Je suis à la maitrise en communication à l'UQAM. Ma concentration est jeux vidéo et ludification. J'ai eu la chance de me faire offrir un stage dans un studio de jeux à Montréal.
Le stage ne faisant pas parti de mon cursus (soumis à un mémoire et non un stage), j'ai quand même eu l'autorisation par l'académie de faire mon stage pour la session d'automne. J'avais donc un permis d'étude + permis de travail (exprès) pour le stage. Les deux expirent en aout 2025.
Mon stage se passe vraiment très bien. Mon gestionnaire m'a proposé de me prolonger jusqu'à avril 2025. Pouvoir rentrer dans l'industrie est assez fastidieux, surtout en ce moment, donc j'aimerais pouvoir mettre toutes les chances de mon côté pour que cela fonctionne. Surtout qu'il m'a mentionné que cela pourrait peut-être se solder par un poste.
Je fais du back and forth avec la responsable du second cycle. Je lui ai demandé ce que je devais faire si je voulais prolonger mon stage:
Elle m'a répondu dans un premier temps :
- "C'est entre vous et votre maitre de stage, vous serez simplement en retard pour le rendu de votre rapport de stage"
Puis "C'est entre vous et l'académique"
Ma question est la suivante :
- Avec qui je dois rentrer en contact ? J'ai échangé avec mon prof référent qui a accepté que je prolonge, mais ai-je le droit d'être rémunéré?
