Went to a singles mixer in my city. 200 people. I planned my outfit, did my makeup. Hair. Was so excited to try and connect with people off of the apps. Tried to start conversations. Kept getting brushed off for other girls. I started hanging with two other girls just the chitchat. The one girl got approached 9 times. I didn't get approached once. I did the approaching and got blown off every time. I'm ready to just give up. I'm told I'm not ugly. I'm young (26), educated, and conversational, between this and awful dates, I just want to cry. The holidays do not help the situation. Pretty sure I'm gonna die alone with my dogs at this point.

I’ve had no real reason or desire to pick up the revolver besides indulging in one of the coolest skins for a weapon ever (the blunderbuss pirate revolver).
Embark, please consider reworking the revolver by adding some fun value to it like a Fan-the-hammer function from Overwatch or some alternate fire like a coin shot from UltraKill, SOMETHING to make me remotely consider it over the pike!!

2024.11.25 01:30 iridians Roads to Power & Wandering Nobles showing as purchased in Steam Library but not showing in launcher.
I bought the whole bundle pack of Plagues (Legends of the Dead)/ Roads to Powe Wandering Nobles, etc. when it came out, and played the game after Legends/ Plagues, and it worked fine. I didn't play it again until today, but I saw that both of the new DLCs had loaded into my Steam library. But they didn't load into my launcher, and I don't see how to do that. I clicked a few things, and Steam guided me back around as if it wanted me to purchase the DLC all over again. How do I get the two new DLC that I already bought months ago into the launcher and enable them?
Also, in case it matters, I can't go in through a Paradox account to do anything, because Paradox never let me verify my account/ never sent me the verification emails, etc. But I've purchased every DLC in CK3 so far and that hasn't mattered yet.

So I recently got two cats, a boy and a girl. They’ve both adapted well to their new home and are both really well behaved except when it comes to food.
For context, these are shelter cats. I don’t really know what their life was like before the shelter or anything. All I know is that the girl is currently 2 years old while the boy is 3 years old and they’re siblings
The boy is fine, he doesn’t care for human foods and when I feed him his wet food, he’ll meow and sit by his food bowl
But the girl is a whole other story. She basically goes feral when food’s around. I’ve had to buy LOCKS for my cabinets and buy a bread bin that also has a lock on it because she has learned how to open them. If I’m feeding her wet food, she’s meowing loudly and running all over the place until I put the food in her bowl, which she immediately will start eating as if it’s the first meal in her life.
In the rare cases she manages to successfully steal some food, she will grab onto it and run for dear life, literally clawing and growling when I try to take it away from her. It’s gotten to the point I have to just shut her in my bedroom while I’m eating or cooking just so she won’t freak out on me.
She has her bowls in my bedroom, a cat tree, one of the litter boxes is in there too, and my room is slightly larger than average, but I still feel so bad when I have to keep her in there while I eat. But I’ve tried the basic tips I’ve been seeing like pushing her away and saying no, tried using positive reinforcement, even tried setting up those motion spray bottle things near where the food is kept so she’d learn that way, but it doesn’t work.
