Ill read the bible and see verses where it says God talks to people, either through prophets or to people directly, not including Jesus. None of this happens to me, I try to repent, I read the bible, I pray, etc... everything seems very one sided and like im doing all these things to try and be better for God and get closer, but nothing ends up happening, it often feels like im just talking to a wall.
God knows I want a better relationship and to be a better Christian, so why doesnt he reach out to me in a way I can understand?

So, my girlfriend has a cat named Mr. Fluffles. She’s had him for years, and they’re super close. The problem?She keeps calling him her “boyfriend” in public. Like, when the waiter asked her if we wanted separate checks, she said, “No, my boyfriend will cover it,” and pointed to the cat sitting in the cat carrier on her lap.
Her friends think it’s hilarious, and her parents even started asking me how I feel about being the “side piece.” When I asked her to stop, she said I was being insecure and “jealous of a cat.”
I don’t think I’m asking too much—I love Mr. Whiskers, but I’d like to at least be the boyfriend in this relationship. She said I’m being controlling and that it’s just a joke. Now I feel like I’m competing with a feline for the title of her significant other.
AITAH for wanting my girlfriend to stop joking that her cat is her boyfriend, or should I just accept being the second choice to a guy who drinks out of a water dish?

Ive been playing for 3 years and I've been seeing friends get to mythic ranked, even those i introduced to the game and i really did quit for a year, i came back last year and it's been a rollercoaster. Recently i made a post about what new hero to buy, granger or leomord and i eventually picked granger and that was the best decision of my MLBB life. Yes the dark system exists,and it still clapped my vheeks even with granger but i kinda we escaped it by finding my hero, not the ones i can play, not the ones I'm good at, but the one that clicks, that just feels right. Granger was that hero for me, since i picked him, I've lost fewer matches due to the dark system. I'm not posting here to brag, I'm not even a good player. I'm posting this here cause I'm really happy!! And someone here is using a hero that they're good at but isn't the one for them, you'll get there one day!! Hi all, I have just recently graduated and I am still trying to figure where do I want to go next. Good thing is I’m not averse to any field in general - I’ve had placements in rural MPS, Community, ED, Genmed and I loved them all. The only bad thing is I’m beginning to realise that fluctuating nursing shifts are wrecking havoc on my sleep cycle and some days where I need to go Late then Early, I have big trouble falling asleep. So, is there any nursing roles where I can at least have a semblance of regularity, or is that too much ask for as a new guy in force. I have no trouble waking up early or doing late nights. It’s just the irregularity which is hampering by circadian rhythm.

The Unlucky Tug has brought up a few things in his Sodor’s Finest video about Donald and Douglas that should have been done in the CGI series, such as some episodes involving Dilly the Duck and Castle Loch. I’ve never thought about any of that until after seeing the video and I’ve been thinking about that recently. And I thought of a few more things I think they also should have done with Donald and Douglas:
- An episode in which they take their goods train to the mainland and see what is going on there.
- An episode with Douglas and Oliver as the lead characters.
- An episode involving them and one of the diesels. (I just realised I don’t recall seeing them have any extended interactions with any of the diesels in the television series.)
- An episode involving them having a bit of a clash with Spencer, with Spencer being snooty at them for being common.

Located in indiana I worked for a guy under the table for a few months. He was a drunk and paid me late every week. Finally I had enough and quit. Now he owes me 62 hour at 35 dollars an hour for a total of $2170. I tried asking nicely and now he's claiming I ran his truck out of oil and every other excuse in the book not to pay me . I feel like I have enough evidence to proof I worked the hour but with it being under the table I'm not sure the law is on my side. Any advice is appreciated
