Hi everyone, I’m dealing with a frustrating situation and could use some advice. A few years ago, I got liability insurance for my small business through a broker. Over time, I realized I was overpaying compared to others in similar businesses, and the broker was unresponsive to my concerns. I switched to another company with better rates and service, informed my broker about canceling, and followed up with emails. After several attempts, he claimed he sent me a cancellation form, but I never received it. He stopped responding altogether, and I just discovered I’ve been charged for the old policy for the past two years. What can I do to resolve this? Any advice is greatly appreciated. TIA!

I’ve been seeing a lot of stories claiming $2000 monthly recurring revenue in two weeks one month or $10,000 monthly recurring revenue and five months or so on.
Well I have been into SAAS products for a long time. The first one that I built was a gps tracking software called FINDER GPS Tracking in 2007. It was not a simple journey. The market was not ready. But we pushed on and on and on. In 2013 under a mentorship program for the startup challenge held in Nepal by the US Department of state, we participated. We went up to the top four and we did not win the challenge, but what we got was a great mentor who help us grow. It was quite an enlightening experience and I’m still in touch with him. The result was that after all these years in 2024 we have now over 8000+ customers using our product with millions and millions of kilometers being tracked in more than one country.
Now comes the next part, sing the success of our first venture we thought of trying out many more, but one after the other, all of them failed. Why? It was for various reasons. Reasons included like too early, market was not ready, then there are other factors as well like the cash burnout is too high and Covid. All of them were platforms. After all, it was a platform race going on.
Later on, we shifted focus on building only science products which we understand better where we have the leverage. One point to note is that your leverage is very important and that is where you will excel if you give the effort and find the right problem which is good enough and people are willing to pay money for it. That is when we built the checbox which is a filter service management software, which can be used for logistics management, transport management, fleet management, and even for basic attendance and task management. The best part is that it can handle bills or expense management based on all of the above and sync with other third parties. B2B Sales is not an easy game. It takes a lot of effort, greet commitment, and resources. If by any chance you were thinking of B2C saas, it might be a bit easier, but you’ll have to shift continuously to find the right product market fit.
Sitting in a developed country and a developing country makes a huge lot of difference in how you find these problems and solve them. You’ll be needing both the perspectives to generate confidence on both sides. Developing markets have different needs of the same problem and decrypted have more things to consider regarding regulations and compliance. Moreover, people are more settled with whatever they have and is not in the mindset to make the change because they are risk adverse in nature due to the thin margins that they have to operate in. It’s not easy but doable. It’s a lot easier and developing countries to do a lot of things, but you’ll have to go door-to-door to find the right market. Just showing interest on Facebook ads or Lead forms will just give you only a tip of the iceberg. Talk to your customers and solve them.
It took us almost 6 years regarding checbox dot com to reach to this level where we have started gaining traction and reached $2000 of MRR, the good side is that it’s growing with over 1000+ of paid users.

I am 31M, during passing a stool i feel like stool stuck in the end of anal so I need to get strained myself to come it out and its painful not to much bearable and after passing it feels inflammation about 2-3 mins but no pain afterwards. No bleeding no external hemorrhoids nothing externally just boil near anal area. Stool looks normal like sausage no constipation having a bowel movement once a day

Hi, I am going to my home country for first time H1B stamping. I was previously on F1 and have changed status to H1 recently. I have valid I-797 approval while departing US and will have a stamped visa while coming back. I've heard from a bunch of friends that I cannot transit via Europe/LHR while departing from US. I would like to know if there any other travel routes I should avoid during this journey.
