2024.11.25 02:31 BenjoC Looking to study to shift careers. What would you take?
Hello all. In my 30s and have the opportunity to study in Singapore due to my relatives being there.
I am currently an associate product manager and I work in tech, but after a year I feel like the work is not for me. The people are okay, my boss is good, and the pay is fair. I just find myself having constant anxiety about things, dreading Mondays, having impostor syndrome all the time, and feel as if I'm going to get fired tomorrow if not the next week or month due to something I missed or didn't think of (welcome to Product Management as they say).
Am looking to pursue something adjacent or different, so that once I'm done, I can be competent enough to apply what I've learned here in the Philippines.
Problem is, I have no clue on what to take. Interests wise, I can't really pinpoint what really "interests" me as it's kind of a hit or miss (perhaps because of my ADHD), so I decided to come to reddit and ask what path you guys would take and perhaps go from there.
I have thought about data engineering or software engineering, but I fear that the market seems too saturated already. Same with AI and Machine Learning as those are the buzzwords of today's age. Am wondering if there are other paths out there.

Hey, I don't know why but randomly I began thinking of. What an Oregon Files video game would be like, in terms of gameplay. I feel like there could be something where missions would be split between first person shooter, or on the Oregon, and actions done in the first person sections could lead to points used to unlock more weapons and tech for the ship, and I don't know things you do in ship sections could lead to points that affect the first person sections, like you getting a device you can use to call in the Oregon to fire at a location, to destroy an encampment or reveal secret areas and stuff. As should be fairly obvious by me saying that stupid idea, I haven't actually read the Oregon Files, I just know the premise. Heck, I got the first book yesterday and haven't started reading it yet, LOL. Regardless, I was wondering why suggestions you guys would have for an Oregon Files video game

So, I know in ordinary writing and speech, that to form the possessive in Vietnamese, it goes something like "[possessed] của [possessor]", but I'm curious if in poetry and music if there's any precedent of forming it as "[possessor] của [possessed]", most probably to preserve rhyme.
Example of what I'm proposing is this: "My book" in standard would be something like "sách của tôi", but I'm wondering if in poetry and music it could be "của tôi sách"

I'm off the week from work and, lacking the money or desire to take a trip anywhere, decided to reset my game and do a 100%/all achievements run through of my favorite FromSoft game.
Once I get to it I know I'll probably switch to Luck/Anri's Sword to farm the rare drops but can't decide what to play with beforehand.

 | I saw Wicked on Wednesday in 3D -- it was great! -- but when I removed the glasses, I noticed that it wasn't a normal type of 3D. It was a weird mix of pink and green, obviously to represent the movie's colours, but it unfortunately made everything look a bit more green with the glasses on. I wish I had taken the glasses home... when I closed my right eye, everything was pinker, and skin tones seemed more natural. But when I closed my left eye, everything was greener. Did anyone else have this experience or just me? Is there any other proof of this online right now? Money's getting worse the leads are getting worse and with changes to Medicare I worry about my future. Does anybody have information on selling commercial health insurance? Is that a good avenue or is P&C the move?
I was looking in a property and casualty jobs but it seems like every place requires 5 years of experience selling property casualty. I feel so overwhelmed but I need to get out of this company. The grind is terrible.
