Hello! Thinking of finding a job in Israel starting this summer, and looking at all the visas that are available. I’m Jewish and do qualify under Right of Return. This would only be for around a year so, thus going for the A-1 visa might be too much, especially since I’m not definite on following through with this.
This work permit seems like it would be the best for what I’m looking for, but I want to ask the following questions:
1) Are there any benefits for the A-1 visa that make it more preferable than just the regular work visa? 2) I see that forms must be submitted at the Population and Immigration Authority office in person. Would I have to fly to Israel to submit this, and then wait on a decision? Can this be done at an Israeli consulate in the US?
Some extra context- from the US, mid 20s, I hold a credential in my industry for which there is some hiring demand. About to change careers but would like to see if it is feasible to try and find an opening in Israel for a year before I make the switch

For your viewing pleasure, I included a bunch of photos from 6 LC stores in Tokyo, Sendai, Kyoto, and Osaka including one outlet store. Tons of Pokémon, Mickey Mouse, Winnie The Pooh, children's ware, wedding starter sets and pet dishes. The complimemtary gift wrapping was absolutely beautiful. Forgive me for the stupid question, but this is my first ever concert like this one (the only other concert I've ever been to was Spice Girls when I was like, 12); I've been waiting so long for Babymetal to tour this close that I bought first entry VIP tickets for Indianapolis on Tuesday. I just got an email that said my check in for First Entry starts at 5:30- is there any reason or advantage to arriving earlier than that? Or for VIP do you pretty much show up at check in time?
