My kid joined club U9 for the first time this fall. He is the stand out because he is big and showed early he wasn’t scared to take the shot, his shots are powerful and accurate and that’s turned into him more than tripling the goals of every other kid in his team.
But the parents are obviously bitter about him, they’re obviously talking about him, singling him out and his teammates are bringing that to games telling him he’s not that good. Telling him what their parents say, telling him he’s only got so many goals because he’s a forward more often etc.
This happened to him today by two kids during warm ups before a semifinal tournament game.
I’m not even going to go into how he also willingly goes in goalie and excels there, or how many freaking assists he gives for goals because he actually is a kid who loves the game and just wants the team to win and do well. But his acts as a solid team player are plentiful. Not to mention he’s the kindest most encouraging kid to every single kid on the team?
My question is how to address it or move forward? It’s a small grassroots club. Everyone is local and knows eachother and have been playing rec for years together. We are from one county over and new. Is there any chance we can break this crap of a curse?? Should we go to the better club that’s just a bit over? My kid isn’t going to stop playing the game how it comes naturally to him. Which is confidently and unafraid. He’s also been 100th percentile in height since birth- he’s not going to stop being bigger and his dad is 6’4 grandpa 6’6. He will always be the biggest despite any eventual growth spurt of others.
So do we stick it out with the stigma and a not so great team or do we move to the better coached team and say goodbye to whatever this last club season was or do we stick where he’s not supported by teammates and the parents?
His coaches love him but maybe have pigeonholed him early as their main forward at this point which isn’t helping matters.

I do not have all the details as this situation is happening to a friend of mine. Thoughts? I realize this is not a legal advice forum I am asking for general advice even petty advice as long as it doesn't violate the order. Living in NYC, she moved into a new apartment before getting there her movers told her that a neighbor of hers was acting belligerent toward them. She moves in and the new property manager warns her about her neighbor fast forward a few weeks and they end up in a verbal altercation the neighbor calls the police and says my friend threatened her with a weapon and is granted a restraining order. (My friend says she did not). Since then, the neighbor has been harassing my friend calling the police on her, saying she's banging on the neighbors door and walls, etc. Making up lies and scenarios, my friend has been arrested about 4 times because of these false reports. She has a motion activated Carmera inside her house so it can record when she comes and goes, and she records when she leaves and returns home with her cellphone. She was told that wasn't enough to prove, at least on some of the occasions, she wasn't doing anything by her lawyer because she could have done something at a different time. (She is asking for a new lawyer at her next court date as he seems uninterested in proving her innocence he asked an innocent person to take a charge but my friend opted to take the case to trial ). My friend who has a home is contemplating going into a shelter for the night because she is afraid to go home. She's afraid to clean her home because the neighbor may complain about noise. She's afraid for her small son to play in her home because her neighbor may complain about that. Is there anything my friend can do? She is currently looking for a new apartment.

I’ve always loved coding and have done small projects here and there, but I never had the time to fully learn how to code full-stack applications.
When I started exploring AI coding tools like Cursor, it absolutely blew me away.
Using AI, I was able to create an entire full-stack web application almost entirely hands-free.
The key for me was starting with a V0 mockup, importing it into Cursor, and breaking it into as many small components as possible to stay organized while letting AI handle the heavy lifting.
Fast forward a few weeks, and now I have my first MVP ready! I’m super excited to show it to my school, especially because they might actually adopt it.
