2024.11.25 02:24 VermillionRed_ Should i play the 2024 Sea Druid?
Hi, im just kind of brainstorming on future character ideas, and im having a bit of a problem with the Sea Druid.
I had a character that i could not make with just the 2014 sublcasses before, but the Sea Druid almost fixed this issue.
I was thinking, basically a sort of storm druid, who is more focused on the nature of lightning and electricity. But the problem is that i kinda wanted to play them as a more intelligent character which is actually made possible by the magician option. Tho, it feels like with the main feature of the subclass, it is kind of wants me to take the warden feature instead?
And i did see people arguing that Wrath of the Sea is more of a defensive option, but that feels kind of bad? At least to me. I mean IF the enemy decides to attack me of all people, AND i will survive the attack with my not so good armor class (tho i suppose that is the least problematic), AND i also dont have anything else i want my BA for, AND they do not succed theire CON saving throws, it is a pretty good defensice option i suppose.
So is there any way i can be a Sea Sruid focusing on spells instead of a gish, while i can still use this feature? Or should i use a different subclass/homebrew?

Feb 2023 I went into the hospital with my very first pancreatitis issue in my 50+ years of life. It progressed to necrotizing pancreatitis that required draining of 2 liters of fluid from a pancreatic pseudocyst, a temp stent to handle continued draining (removed after 45 days). I lost over 80lbs due to my inability to eat or tolerate a feeding tube. (Not my recommended weight loss plan) It has taken a very long time to get back to some semblance of normal but after 6 months in and out of the hospital, I was attack free until Aug 2024. Docs tried to place a stent in the pancreatic duct but were unable to do so due to the extent of blockage from scar tissue. I’m heading to a larger health system in Jan 2025 to have the procedure done by a pancreatic specialist. My question is - has anyone else experienced this level of blockage to the pancreatic duct? Has anyone else had a permanent stent placed in the pancreatic duct? Just looking for some support as I’m a bit nervous about the surgery.

hi, cosmo student here! i feel overwhelmed with options and need advice.
in redken shades eq, what would you use for the hair on the right to get it somewhere close to the tone of the hair on the left?
the goal is to create a soft grow out. i don’t want to color my hair anymore! the current orange color is the result of a few cpr treatments. i’m naturally a neutral level 6/7, very close to the color of my sister’s hair on the left. i see green AND red in my natural hair color, and in my current color i see red, orange, and yellow, so i really need a different set of eyes!!!
i understand both of these heads of hair are at different levels (also the lighting in this picture isn’t amazingly accurate)- i just am trying to achieve a neutral brown color without lightening the hair and i feel like i’m overthinking it. i understand the ash is going to make it appear darker and the grow out isn’t going to be perfect, and i don’t mind the rooted look at all, i just want the red/orange to at least look controlled.
i wanted to include my sisters hair for some reference of what my natural color is going to look like when it grows in.
i would love some outside eyes and opinions! thanks so much

I hate the fact a lot of people think stefan is the better choice, Damon is way better, he's tbink ahead and think elena best interest and safety where stefan think more of thier freedom. 2rd point is that Damon took time to get to know elena to fall in love where stefan fells in love with her looks and that she was just kinder than what Katherine was. He literally says that in the beganing. At the end of the day Damon was more mature and willing to do the right thing even if it was morally justified because it was for the best interest of elena.

I'm trying to back up an M2 MBA (16g/1t) to an M4 mini (24g/512g with a 2t external target). We're connected via wifi.
It seems to get to 60-70% done (many, many gigs and many, many hours later) and then fails.
This isn't an insta-fail from network connectivity, and it doesn't produce any popup that remains on the screen when I come back to it. I just get "Backup failed" in the status window when I check, and then I have to manually restart it.
Any suggestions on where to start with troubleshooting this?

At their hideout, you're introduced as a drug smuggler by a fellow undercover agent. However, the gang is immediately suspicious. They grab a random sex slave they were keeping prisoner and have her kneel in front of you. They give you a dagger and demand you kill her.
You look down at her. She looks extremely tired and depressed. She's not even afraid of dying. You're allowed to do anything to avoid detection, so you won't be in trouble with the king. However, there are obviously huge moral issues with this.
As a royal knight, you could kill anyone here in a 1 on 1 battle. You're no pushover. Most of the guys here aren't even armed, and they just gave you a weapon. Escaping should be a breeze, but you'll fail your mission and potentially put the other undercover agent in danger.
*Would you kill her? Or would you escape?*

buenas noches a todos, quería preguntarles que debería regalarle a mi papá, la semana que viene es su cumpleaños (el 28/11) cumple 40 años (yo tengo 16) por lo que quiero ser un buen hijo y darle un gran regalo, para empezar ya le adelanté que ese día se relaje y no haga NADA, yo voy a hacer la comida, limpiar etc, pero hay un problemita, últimamente está teniendo un problema en los pies y siempre dice que necesita masajes, va a un masajista profesional pero yo le dije que por su cumpleaños no pague que yo mismo le hago los masajes y lo que necesite, fue algo del momento, ahora me arrepiento mucho porque sinceramente a mi los pies siempre me generaron asco, limpios o sucios me generan rechazo y no se que hacer, mis preguntas son 1- que más le puedo regalar? y 2- dicen que me haga cargo de lo que dije y le de los masajes por ese día ignorando mi asco? o que debo hacer? pd: él siempre fue un re papá y me cumplió todos los caprichos, no se que hacer 😔
