2024.11.25 03:30 Snoo77359 First time UV editing and need help getting the image on properly

I'm trying to put this label I made for my beaker onto the beaker itself. This is my first time UV editing and I'm unsure how to make it show the label without messing up the glass material. This is the closest I got, since the(very simplified) tutorial I was watching put the color to color of the BSDF and it worked fine for that since that object didn't already have a material, but when I try to to it it just turns the image black. Also, if you could tell me how to put the cursor in the UV editor at the center of the image to help me get the label centered too I would appreciate it. Thank you.

My claim: Viktor and Jayce are the First Light and, by definition, can be considered the Aspect of Creation.
I don't want to take much of your time, so I will just say the important parts of the theory, leaving out the unimportant parts.
Ekko used the inverse acceleration rune + The Anomaly to create the Z-Drive. Jayce gave his acceleration rune to Viktor. Now, Viktor has both The Anomaly and the acceleration rune. Together, they created the Z-Drive too, but it goes into the future instead of back. Damn, what’s going to happen when they clash? Well, if you pull a fabric in opposite directions with equal force, and both sides are strong enough to pull the fabric toward themselves, it would tear. The fabric of time tore, and Viktor and Jayce went into that tear. Where are they, then? Somewhere beyond time is the Void—not the manifestation of the Void but the real Void.
What is The Anomaly? It is the core of magic. What is magic? Well, we can start from where it comes from: it is the World Runes. These are the runes that created Runeterra. Magic is creation, the act of creation, the art of creation, or yang energy if we go with Eastern philosophy. But Heim and Viktor kind of said there is an act of destruction in The Anomaly too, right? Well, if we continue with Taoism, there is yin in yang, and they exist in a relationship with each other. But I don’t think Viktor and Heim are right about the nature of magic or The Anomaly. I think it is pure yang energy. Now, I know saying something is pure yang might sound contradictory to the concept if we look at it from a Taijitu perspective. But this is where Heim is partially right because magic can be used destructively—it still contains yin, but not in its form, only in its potential actions. Viktor, however, is still wrong to think that the Arcane innately has a destructive side. He thought that way because he saw The Anomaly only in its corrupted form with shimmer, which certainly has something to do with the Void. When he saw the second Anomaly, he said, "This device can’t be," and showed such emotion, even in his current form. This must tell us how much that Z-Drive destroyed his entire understanding of the Arcane—he saw an Anomaly without the side of destruction.
Now, Viktor and Jayce went to the Void, and they have one pure Anomaly and one with some Void in it. Well, you can understand it—I am talking about the Taijitu symbol. There is yin in yang, and there is yang in yin, and they exist in a relationship with each other.
Before the First Light, there was only the Void, which is yin energy. Now you may ask, "If we’re going with Taijitu, shouldn’t the Void have yang too?" But before the First Light, there was nothing, so there couldn’t have been any existence of yang. Well, according to the law of logic, “Nothing can come from nothing.” So how did the Void come from nothing? Well, the Void is yang in yin. We to completeed the Taijitu the Void became existent, and become aware of its existence as the majority yin half of the Taijitu symbol can only exist in a relationship with its yang half. What is this moment? It is the First Light. Viktor and Jayce are the First Light. They created the universe by going beyond it, tearing fabric of universe and carriying perfect mirror of the void make it aware of its existence becoming the Aspect of Creation together. All Aspects are watching Runeterra because it is where the First Light originated.

So I texted this girl on a dating app we did stuff and well she got upset because I wasn’t into her like that which I let her know etc etc and I asked her if she wanted to go on even after that and we did stuff (lots of details aren’t put it’s a very long story so I wanna make it summarized) she goes crazy on me I did make a dumb mistake to block her because she was nervous about getting pregnant (I did finish in her) I was dry and wasn’t rlly turned on and couldn’t finish at all (she did many times) anyway my dumhass blocks her and that’s where she starts to text people ik etc etc and goes berserk flash forward I text her to make sure she’s doing okay after months( between these months) I got threats from her and her friends well she gets mad again and says if I fuck her one last time she’ll leave me alone(more details are left out) we do it I throw up after I do it she doesn’t know this I didn’t want to do this at all ( I have a gf btw) she knows about the whole thing while it’s happening she just wants her to stop these threats and now she doesn’t wanna stop talking and her friends make threats saying I’m fucked up even tho I didn’t even want this at all now was i in the wrong as well yes but never made threats or anything I simply wanted to make sure she’s okay after it all( I care alott about people and always feel guilty for shit I do even if I didn’t do it) now I’m stuck with her knowing where I live alll my family members she knows everything and her friends have made threats and I’m like ???   1. If you ever doubted that Carlin and Evan Stewart were blatantly and willfully exploiting their children… This week proved you wrong. Carlin handed her camera over to Layla so she could regale us all with a story about how she learned to button her clothing. I guess that is what she learned in her 20 minutes of homeschooling. Thank goodness for subtitles. Carlin is the proud new owner of a cutesy tiny, fun, itsy bitsy little dinky Canon camera. Evan gifted it to her, and she wants you to follow the link and buy your own for just $400. She also links her brand new shoes which are $140 and you just have to wonder who is her audience? I don’t know any other couples in their mid 20s who are dropping hundreds of dollars on clothing and fun cameras. We see lots of content from the influencer gathering last weekend. This was held under the guise of a one-year-old‘s birthday party, but in reality, it was just an opportunity for all of these family vloggers to get together and be fake nice to each other on film. Christmas came early to the Stewart home thanks to the Disney store and a brand new partnership. Layla and Zade each get Disney trees in their room, tons of Disney toys, stuffed animals, and matching family, PJs. Layla and Zade work overtime to earn that Disney paycheck so daddy can keep the pool heater on another month. There are no days off for the Stewart kids and hot on the heels of the Disney store partnership, Layla was forced to learn a brand new script about kindness for a new reel. Cameras roll as Layla explains that she wants to give away all of her old princess dresses to her poor, downtrodden cousins who just have absolutely nothing to play dress up with. Evan takes a starring role as a weeping proud dad. Carlin is behind the camera, giggling at it all. The cringe level seems to have maxed out, but there is still a Vlog to come. The Vlog is mostly a rerun of content they have already shown us. Evan and the other influencer dad spend lots of time developing a Bromance in Georgia, and they take us along as they buy a Christmas tree. After their lack of chemistry was discussed on Reddit… Miraculously these two try to perform as though they are hot to trot for one another… they even kiss under the mistletoe! They forgot to edit out all of the times they call each other bro and high five so they definitely have some work to do in that area. They end the vlog trying to decorate their Christmas tree, but Layla does not want to participate… this leads to a deep discussion about how she is all grown up and no longer a little girl.As a reminder, Layla is not yet five years old. Sometimes the mask slips and you see the reality of these peoples lives… Carlin really showed herself when she took Layla to get her nails done and later posted a photo promoting some vitamin powder. The photo featured her computer where she was working on editing…the title of her work was “NAILS” and there were 16 videos. Think about that. The entire time the little girl was with her mommy getting her nails done… Her mommy was filming her so that she could come home, edit it together and slap it on social media. This morning we see Layla with a group of children singing praise songs at church. She searches the crowd until she finds her mom‘s camera, locks in on it and immediately starts throwing faces and gestures and cute little grins just like she’s trained to do. Sadly, she did not appear to know the words to the song or the gestures that the other children were doing. The Stew Crew really turned it up this week… how much further can they possibly go??
  2. Katie Clark had to pull herself out of her funk and get back to it this week… Starting with a baby dedication. Their new cult mega church only does baby dedications once a year so baby Harvey had to make his debut…Very interesting that none of the Clark family came to town for this monumental event. Remi the dog turned four years old and that was the perfect opportunity to exploit Hailey with a trip to Petsmart for birthday supplies and then a full days work filming a dog birthday party. Katie takes to IG just to let everyone know how happy and blessed she is. She needs that to be known. Don’t think she is sad. She is happy, happy, happy. We know it because she told us so. They rerun the dogs birthday and Haley’s visit to the dentist in their Vlog and then Travis runs away to Nashville to write and sing with a bunch of dudes and someone’s suburban bonus room. He tells us he has a deal with integrity records to remake someone else’s song and he’s teaming up with some Internet singers to make some music. Travis has to spend his Nashville nights with Lawson and Tiffany. Lawson is happy to star in the Clarks Vlog but Tiffy is a no show. Back at home, Travis says Katie must be absolutely exhausted from having to care for their two children all by her lonesome. They are heading to Jersey for Thanksgiving and are still on the hunt for a new home. Zach shows up as the family realtor. Travis has no problem telling the world that they hope to get some good content on their Jersey trip and that it could be a little hectic in the airport because he will be filming for the Vlog and Katie will be filming for her Instagram. Priorities. Before they head out of town, Katie has to film a sponsorship for an AI generated letter from Santa… Only she can’t use the word Santa, so instead she calls him, Kris Kringle. We also get a reel of Hailey dressed in full Disney princess gear… The outfit is so new it is still creased, and she has everything from the crown to the high heels. Travis tries to play his part as the Disney dad…the whole thing seems like their way of telling Carlin and Evan that they do not need Layla‘s old princess dresses thankyouverymuch. Of course, Carlin comments that Hailey is a “mini Layla” and the princess wars have begun.
  3. Miles Balka was dedicated into the new cult mega church along with his little cousin baby Harvey. Josie films the girls doing each other‘s hair and of course shows them in full gymnastics leotards on the way to the gym and performing at gymnastics class. Her friend comes over for a play date and they have babies one day apart. Josie is still on her sourdough journey and makes sourdough pizza. She is also shilling her $500 sheet sets. Josie does all of these things day after day with her hair tightly wrapped in the pool noodle. At this point, her hair is in the noodle more than it is out of the noodle and what the hell is the point of that? Wouldn’t she sell more noodles if she showed her hair down and full of voluptuous curls all day? The Effortless Shop shows 1000 pictures of Josie and friends in pajamas with their hair in pool noodles wrapping gifts and laughing happily at some unknown joke off in the distance. They also continue to feature Christian micro influencers using the noodle. My prayer for 2025 is less noodle… Lord, hear my prayer.
  4. Down In Snorlando, the Webster kids are outside where Allie continues to sistermom Rhett who toddles about with no pants on and a pair of boots. John abandons Alyssa for another softball game so she attempts a Q&A from her couch. she has her house decorated for Christmas, she has never had Botox and she apologizes for skipping a week of her Vlog. They were just too, too busy. She posts pictures of each child and herself heavily filtered with cartoon make up on. The business page continues to bleed followers and she does not mention it all week. The girls get a rare treat of lunch at Culver’s after co-op. Alyssa can’t keep her camera off of Rhett. He is perpetually miserable and Alyssa tells us he refuses to smile… No duh Alyssa - give the kid a break. John Webster turned 35 and Kelly Jo celebrated him with a lot of adjectives that nobody believes, including herself. Alyssa does not comment on her mom‘s post. She does give John a birthday grid post featuring a black heart. I feel you girl. Kelly’s post gets more comments than Alyssa’s. In this weeks Vlog, Alyssa again tells us how busy they are… When she lists all of the things they have going on -it’s just the same old, same old…John is playing as much softball as he possibly can… 11 months of the year, the girls go to co-op and their weekly kids church program. We see John blowing out his birthday candles, which is no big deal because he is a mouth breather. The most exciting thing that happens is shows up to crash at Alyssa‘s house. He is in town working a job and she tells us it has been a long time since she has seen him. Warden is wearing Evans hand me downs, and he brings Alyssa a gift from Ellie. It is a beautiful pearl ring fashioned to look like one that momma Jane wears. It was apparently, one of the only gifts that Alyssa received. On Sunday the girls and Alyssa are all in matching dresses from some partnership and later she is slinging Hydrojug links in the saddest attempt at advertising yet. She can’t even fake excitement.
  5. Whitney Bates is secretly auditioning for a spot on QVC. Homegirl will sell anything at anytime. She sells a finance app and BSB holiday dresses. She brings in Jadon to help her sell magnetic picture frames and she would also like you to buy $40 floss. We see Bradley learning to cook steaks with his dad in a fancy pan you can own. Then… Whitney shows us their trip to the influencer birthday party with the Stew Crew and she talks about these people as if she has known them forever. Over in the Bates kitchen this week Zach says he is making braised short ribs… Only he doesn’t make short ribs. He chops up a chuck roast and says it’s the same thing… We watch him chop 1000 vegetables piece by piece without one close-up and at the end, what he has really made is pot roast. Again. These people eat a ton of red meat. The recipe calls for red wine, but Zach quickly tells us that can be replaced with beef broth… Which is exactly what he uses. The entire family of 7 squeezes into frame to show off their new outfits before heading off to church. Whitney has to sell a lot of crap to afford brand new outfits for five kids… but they make it look so easy.
  6. Trace Bates has left Spain and headed to Costa Rica to continue his work with Medic Corps. It seems like they are basically working for Starlink at this point installing Wi-Fi wherever it is needed. Lydia shares a fundraising Vlog for Medic Corps as she is almost at one month without trace being at home. Finally the long suffering hero returns and Lydia is able to decorate for Christmas. Ryker is toddling about and into everything. He scatters Christmas ornaments all over the place and constantly tries to steal their microphones. Trace and Lydia hang their stockings and giddily say that next Christmas there could be an extra stocking… They let us know they would be so excited if that were to happen… wink wink, nudge, nudge…
  7. Chad and Erin have big news… They are going to be selling ABC flashcards of God… So you too can indoctrinate your children at a very young age. The set of flashcards is $25. Erin says they have been working on them for a long time. Most items on their website are $15… Last week they told us the business is a big part of how they make a living -but that just doesn’t add up. Who believes you can support a family of eight by selling flashcards and flower doodles?? Erin promotes her piano CDs, which are a hot commodity for all of those with actual CD players…and shows off her messy kitchen from making homemade chocolate chip cookies. Never mind that last week she told us all that sugar is a sin.
  8. Michael and Brandon are back with yet another question and answer session… This time they tell us that they are revamping their YouTube channel in the new year. They seem to like suggestions about cooking, and showing a day in the life. So expect that boredom coming down the pike. They tell us that they are not against adoption and have been praying about it. Actually, Brandon says they have been praying about it, but Michael says they have been making progress with it. I guess if Gothard girls can wear pants and show off legs and shoulders then they can also adopt. Later, Michael shares links for a mug shop and Alani nutrition drink. Maybe the changes they are talking about are joining the influencer game.
  9. Tiffypics has been busy selling shoes, jackets, baby products… Somebody has to pay the bills so Lawson can live the luxury life as a kept man. Baby Will is now four months old and he still has not gone to California. Lawson and Tiffany go out to a drive-in movie, and Tiffany shares pictures from last Thanksgiving when she had just found out she was pregnant. She also shares a bunch of other pictures including ones from Halloween. Their content continues to be slow and dated. There is no new Vlog again, but Tiffany is hard at work promoting the old Vlog…I honestly think Lawson does not want to edit the thing… or maybe he doesn’t know how.
  10. Kelly Jo had a busy week on social media… promoting the baby dedication which she attended with Warden and Ellie. No Gil. She also congratulates Warden for winning another fake football tournament and tries to say nice things about John Webster for his birthday. Kelly Jo says that Alyssa met John while she was working on his dad‘s political campaign… I’ve never heard that version of the story before. She promotes Medic Corps heavily… probably bc it is her sons’ main form of income??

2024.11.25 03:30 Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuhh My crush told me he wanted space two months ago. When I asked him if we could talk he said “not right now”?

To keep the long story fairly short. My (23f) crush (24m) and I have liked each other for about 2 years now. However I was very naive and didn’t understand that he was flirting with me and was just being friendly. At one point 6 months in he literally had to ask if I ever got any of the hints and I replied with “what hints?” Although he asked that after he had already started seeing someone else. Now a year and a half later they have broken up for the second time at the end of September. (Both times because he and I were friends.) He ended up getting very frustrated with her jealousy because it was not only to me but to any other girl to the point where she was impeding his school and work life with demands that he not interact with any other girls. (His family and I hypothesize he told her he was speaking with me just so she would break up with him). She even tried to demand I not be allowed in his house when I was hanging out with his sisters and that I not be invited to any family gatherings even though I had been friends with them longer. My friends and I had to push back against the house one and I had to talk with my crush about how upset I was that I wasn’t allowed to be invited to things after being isolated at work for him to make it adamantly clear to his family that I could be invited to things (this is after a year of not being invited since my friends were afraid his ex would hurt me and he would get upset). The first time they broke up she kept saying how they were going to be getting back together a day after she broke up with him but after this one she keeps telling people they aren’t dating. They still eat lunch together at work and she came over to his house and was outside for a couple minutes a few weeks ago to I assume hand him something he forgot but overall his family and I believe she is pushing to see him more than he is to see her. (Even my friend out of the blue one day said “next time she pisses me off I’m going to tell her about how she’s not the only person he is talking to”) But I believe since they spent nearly every waking moment together for approximately year and a half they were close platonically as well and that is why they still spend time with each other? He is also hooking up with his other ex at the moment who is his neighbour which they have been in an on again off again fwb for 3 years and he has brought her over inside the house quickly a few times in the past month and a half even after his ex stopped by the house. They started hooking up about 3 weeks after his break up and he is still actively hooking up with her and I’m unsure about any other girls in the mix.
Anyways, he sent me a text right after they broke up asking for space (because again our friendship caused the break up and he was extremely apologetic as he knows I need commitment but he cannot provide that to me right now which I never expected him to regardless). He said he would still be polite to me but that he needed space for now, Since they broke up he has unblocked me on all social media (something his ex would never allow) but he is still acting guarded towards me. He still shows he cares by helping me if I ask or even if I don’t ask like for example today I was outside his bedroom in the main area and I was trying to get his dogs attention upstairs. Him and I constantly whistle to each other to let the other know we are nearby both in his house or at work and today I was outside his bedroom in the main area and speaking to my friend about how I wanted his dog downstairs and kept trying to whistle but they weren’t loud enough for the dog to hear so he whistled as loud as possible so she would hear and come to me. He also has started talking to me when we are alone again. Particularly when I’m about to leave he will try to mess with me so that he can speak to me for longer I presume. He also gets nervous when I’m about to do something dangerous and tries to suggest a different safer method (which if it were anyone else including his siblings he wouldn’t do that for) and he inserts himself into conversations that I’m in with his family which is something he would never do before when he was with his ex and wanted space from me then. He also has started full bumping into me in doorways which he has more than enough room to get by to try and get a reaction out of me but I just let home do it every time. The only thing that he doesn’t let me do anymore is eat his food which is fine but he still finds it amusing when I beg for the smallest piece and will occasionally give me some instead of like before when I could always have as much as I wanted. Even with him helping me I still feel upset sometimes and people keep insinuating that him and I slept together while he was still dating his ex (cause that’s what she has been telling everyone in our workplace even though him, his sisters and myself have all said that it didn’t happen countless times) and his dad even made a comment saying he thought he was fucking his ex again (since he spotted them outside the one time but I still believe they aren’t sleeping together) and that I shouldn’t have put out for him and then he remembered I was a virgin and said oh wait never mind. Usually I can take his dad’s jokes as he has been teasing both of us for over a year about each other but him talking about me putting out for his son particularly hit a nerve since that’s what his ex is telling everyone in the workplace. She even sent paragraphs about what “we did” to my sister who had to sit me down and ask what was happening. With being so upset about these comments I went to ask my crush if we could talk after he helped me with something but I didn’t tell him what about and he ended up saying “mm nah” and I replied with “no?” and he responded with “not right now” and I replied with “no I didn’t mean right now but at some point?” and he replied with “ok”. After that we didn’t speak directly to each other for the rest of the night but we both went upstairs and made dinner and chatted with his dad and sister for a bit. He knew we were going to watch a movie near his room and normally his door is shut but he had it open for nearly the entire time while we were down there (which he then whistled to the dog for her to come down later when I tried to call her) he only ended up shutting his door partially when he needed to work on school which he normally does upstairs with his dad but he opted to stay downstairs and do it.
I know he cares about me at the very least and he has confessed feelings for me on several occasions (as recent as a couple months ago.) and I understand he wants space but it scares me that he still associates with my bully. Even though deep down I don’t think she is a threat to our friendship anymore I still get scared and worried that it might happen again as I’m a very anxious person and spiral with what ifs all the time especially since her bullying got so bad the first time they broke up I’m afraid of having to associate with her again. I am wondering what my next steps are. I don’t plan on reaching out to talk again as I’ve already thrown it out there and I don’t want to pressure him. What should I do now? Does he actually want to talk with me? Do you think they will get back together? What should I do to calm myself when I start to spiral? I don’t want him to think I don’t care and shut him out but I also don’t want to smother him either. TIA!
