So I have a gj tube, I got it placed about 10 days ago. My g port hurts so bad. I could drain things out of my stomach and it's fine, but if I try to push air or even water through its like this sharp pain throught my stoma, and on the outside. There's also discharg of whatever I drank or ate on my gauze even if I don't try to drain it. I went to the ER, but I had to explain to the doctors and nurses what a gj tube was, and she didn't even look at my stoma. The pediatric surgeon in the ER said that it was normal for liquids to push out of your stoma if your stomach is full, but nobody answered my question on why it's so painful to flush the tube. My j port works great though so that's a plus.

Full disclosure, I love the spellsword concept. A magical warrior. A soldier and scholar blended into a combination of wits, tactical skill, and magical prowess.
Sadly, the execution almost always ends up being the opposite of what it should be. I think that comes from a misunderstanding of what a "spellsword" is supposed to be.
Keep in mind, these are just generalizations, not inherent standards.
Warriors are meant to be top of the line physical combatants, as they're fast, strong, and resilient, but lacking usually in other applications, especially in the scholarly or magical departments. Casters are meant to be powerful damage dealers and controllers. Problem solvers that use magic to compensate for their lack of physical ability.
Both of these things have a niche, a role that they fill in terms of their skills. However, this assumes that you have a group of people working together, each with their own unique and useful skillset.
Spellswords, are meant to be loners, but are also meant to be less powerful. The idea of the spellsword is to "round out" a single individual in terms of abilities. He's not the best warrior, but he's pretty good, and he's got magic to back him up. He's not the best mage, but he's pretty good, and he's got a sword to swing when things get rough.
The spellsword is meant to only be decent at fighting and magic, so that one person can have the skills of two very different roles, and can utilize those abilities to solve problems that the others couldn't by themselves.
A spellsword shouldn't be the best at fighting and the best at magic, he should just be competent at both. That is all.

2024.11.25 05:27 Garadoxus Casual Contract, Roster Offered Work Rescinded

I was on a 3 month fixed term contract which ends on the 1st of December, I will be continuing on my casual contract post this contract ending. I was working full time until the contract finished but was on the roster until 12th of December. My employers figured out this was wrong after it had been on the roster for the past 2 months. This led to them informing me today they won't be needing me for the shifts past the 1st of December. In my casual contract there is no clause about cancellation of shifts. Is this shift work when a roster is involved? Is the roster binding as being offered work as a casual?

I know that Afterpay and other similar “programs”(?) aren’t loved here but it’s what I use so please only be kind 🤞🙏
My question is about eBay gift cards purchased through Afterpay Australia.
I read an article on eBay that gift cards can only be used in the country it was purchased (which I think is the case here) but then there was another (the name escapes me now) that made me think maybe 🤔
So would that gift card work on international items? It always says how much it is in AU$ and I just don’t understand why it wouldn’t be accepted. They’d make more money, surely. Would it cost them much to make it happen?
