My Echo Show 5 recently died and I purchased a new Echo Show 8 to replace it. Much to my surprise, I discovered there is no audio line out / 3.5mm connection for my old Harman Kardon speakers! Does anyone have a suggestion on how to connect a new Echo Show to the speakers that are not Bluetooth? I also have an old Echo Dot I could try to use if there’s a way to tether. Or is there a Bluetooth transmitter? The Echo Show has average sound, but i miss the fuller sound from a subwoofer. I don’t want to purchase new speakers, but if necessary is there an affordable set you recommend?

My (16 F) family is going through a rough time (my parents are separated at home) If we start from the beginning, the told me they separated at the end of September. Atm they just told me that they didn't trust each other anymore. Then my mom (41 F), after a session with my psychologist, sat me down and told me everything, her and my dad's part (48 M) Without his consent. She told me to treat him the same but I couldn't, so I acted coldly towards him. A few weeks later when mom is out she confronts my dad calmly, asking him his version of the facts. (Now me and dad are good) He approves what mom said but he is upset she told me even his part. I talked to the psychologist about it and she told me that this attitude of my mother can be defined as a way of "washing her hands of her responsibilities" the psychologist told me several things, she talked to me about privacy (which was violated by my parents) about femininity (she forbade me to wear my mother's clothes, we are the same size).
A lot of things have happened in the meantime. my mother has had a boyfriend for 7 months now (me and dad know it) and yesterday she came back to home after being with him, since they ( my parents) have to do 3 days each out home, co parenting so to speak. Yesterday i didn't really bothered her, since I was a bit stressed, yeah i answered badly at her due to that, but she never been good when I did it, (I yelled at her, not in an aggressive way, more like a whiny because I had to do some school stuff [tests perdiod] and she responded defensively "What are you yelling at?!) And she complained, my and my dad's behaviour to her boyfriend, complaining that I never bother her and that I always answer badly (FLASHBACK: trough this time, my mom asked about my sessions with my psychologist, I was annoyed by it and told her, in the most calm way, that I didn't want to talk about it, she acted like i was blaming her, asking "Are you mad at me?" She did something similar when my aunt took me out for dinner to talk about this situation, and she insisted, I got mad and told her that she sholdnt bother. She blamed herself again) As I was saying, she complained about me and my dad to her boyfriend, telling him i dont look after her, I dont seek for her, well, se always gets in my room when she wants when she talks to him since my room as good wifi connection, as you can say, I was annoyed and talked about it. Last night i was very tense due to a test i have today. We had a little arguing and she is giving me the cold shoulder because she is mad. I asked if shecsaw my headphones ( they are very important to me) and she answered me coldly and mild roeasted me about privacy a bit before that. Tonight i skept pretty badly due to all this tension and now I have a weight on my chest, tired, I had a test today, i asked if I may not go, she told me to ask my dad and now im in my room, tired due to bad sleeping and anxiety i think. PS: I dont trust her boyfriend, she told me tons of things we have in common for me to liking him, they met online.

2024.11.25 05:50 Barry_Smithz I have developed a speadsheet that lists the scaling values of every hit in MK1. Would people find it useful if i make it public?
It isnt fully complete but it is nearly there. I have started from left to right with the characters and i am up to raiden.
I personally find it useful with regards to optimising kombo damage as just because a specific kombo route may look like it is going to do more damage at the start, but if it also scales really hard at the start then it might not be a good way to start kombos overall.
These values also have helped me determine the damage of a kombo before actually doing said kombo (which helps me with optimising kombos vs resource used rather than constantly doing trial and error in game).
It is also interesting to me to see what scaling exceptions are out there, as there are quite bit of scaling values that break the norm.
Let me know if you believe a spreadsheet like this would be helpful for people. If not then i wont bother continuing to support the spreadsheet.

I feel like I’ve always had a decent jawline but it kinda got worse when I entered my 20s. Ever since I’ve gotten treatment and I’ve been wearing my retainers and rubber bands, I’ve noticed my jaw line looks a lot better. I’m not even “mewing” or whatever and my lower face is looking snatched! Has anyone experienced this? Especially if you are getting your bite fixed I’d love to hear from others!

Well, at this point, there aren’t any daily discussion threads to comment on.
Six years ago, a 20 year old me stumbled upon XRP through trying to buy something on a part of the internet where only cryptocurrency could be used. It was only when I was forced to pay with bitcoin that I realized cryptocurrency was…money.
Since that point, and since I learned what XRP was, and what Ripple was doing with it, I made a decision to center everything in my life around getting every XRP I could at such low prices. I knew that this was a once in a lifetime opportunity. I knew that putting everything else to the side in my life would pay off exponentially down the road. I knew cryptocurrency as a whole would become more mainstream, but I knew more specifically that XRP was fundamentally rock solid, and grossly undervalued.
Every single day, for years, it’s all that mattered. I didn’t care about my social life, I didn’t care about a relationship, I didn’t care about my own mental health even, I needed to get every single dollar I possibly could and put it into XRP. Some would’ve equated it to going to a casino and putting it all on red, but i knew this was a risk to reward unlike any other in human history.
Most would’ve thought I was crazy. I knew I had a better path than going into college and debt, making decent to good money and putting it all on the line. I knew I was prepared to execute a 5+ year strategy to see this through.
2021 was an amazing year for me, I saw my dreams come true. I also invested in Vechain on a fundamental basis and watched it go from half a cent to 27 cents. I was in awe, but I held through the bear market cashing out essentially what I had invested before the downtrend. After watching XRP and Vechain do literally nothing for years, it was a hell of a ride. I knew it was only a matter of time before it recovered, and it was back into accumulation mode.
Ripple won the lawsuit, Gary Gensler is on the way out, every single piece that has needed to fall into place, is happening. I never fully knew how my life would transform, but all I know is I’m happy that I did everything i did now. All I have to do is…nothing. This is all just getting started, and it’s all just speculation. We don’t even have utility on a real level creating a price floor. We just have everyone starting to realize this is the future. That the way everything else has advanced in every facet of life technologically, the entire money settlement system of the world will also advance and change, it is only a matter of time.
I still could be wrong I guess, but I really don’t think so ;)
