Okay, this is my first time posting here, and I need some advice. I’m 30F, with plenty of dating experience, but I’ve never managed to transition to a long-term relationship.
Very recently, I matched with a someone (29M) on a dating app on October 30. He messaged me about grabbing coffee, but since I wasn’t active on the app and eventually deleted it, I didn’t see his message until I reinstalled it on November 19. We finally met for coffee last Saturday, November 23.
What started as coffee turned into lunch, a visit to a global book fair (since we both love books), and ended with boba tea at a park. It was one of the most wholesome dates I’ve ever had. Not like my usual party-and-drink dates.
At first, I was hesitant because his profile pictures didn’t impress me, but in person, he was so attractive. Plus, we connected on so many levels: history, anime, architecture, old-school music, and even things like writing long love letters—we’ve both done that! He’s honest, a great conversationalist, good at math (where I’m terrible), and even fits my ideal height range. And the beard? A total bonus.
What stood out to me most was his honesty though. He openly shared stories about the girls he had met and gone out with before me. I appreciated that so much more than him pretending to be a saint or acting like he’d never dated anyone.
I left that date feeling like I met my soulmate. It was like meeting the male version of myself, and I really want to see him again. That night, I couldn’t sleep well. My mind kept replaying our conversations and how natural everything felt between us.
The next day, I texted him, and we exchanged a few messages. But after my last attempt at flirting, he stopped replying. Now it’s Monday, and I haven’t heard from him since.
What should I do? I don’t want to seem desperate, but I really want this to work. Any advice would mean a lot.

Hi everyone, been looking for information about best decisions but most posts and info is more people in traditional positions so not very relevant. To summarise UK teacher now teaching in the international world (Asia) looking to pursue a Masters in something not my undergrad. Mostly for personal interest and knowledge/skill development, but also to open some doors to teaching other subjects like business or entering admin side of things.
I've been looking for a while and a MBA has been suggested - issue is most are prohibitively expensive and beyond my price range. Gies business school is one I've seen suggested as good, but $25,000 is still very pricey based on my take home pay. I see that they offer a Masters in Management for half the cost, and I've also been looking at other non-US options like International Business at Exeter or elsewhere.
I just wondered if anyone had any suggestions or input then basically for best possible course of action for someone looking to get a business education/qualification but isn't too worried about targeted institutions. Not a diploma mill or anything like that though, whilst it is somewhat tick-a-box I am looking for I genuinely want to learn whilst getting a certified qualification for job purposes.

Frost has been one of the lowest tier Kameo's. NRS knows this. Since launch she has received at least a half dozen buffs to her abilities in an effort to bring up her usage. The latest buff is:
- Frost (Kameo)
- Ice Wall can now be cancelled into an ambush Ice Krash
- Ice Krash hit reaction changed and will now cause a popup hit reaction if close to an Ice Wall
- Icewall cancel into ice krash takes 2 kameo bars
- relies on ice crash to hit opponent which requires you to be near the opponent
- takes a long time to execute making it an unreliable extender for air combos
- frost already has a superior combo extender with ice karpet which is only one kameo bar
Think about this, if you get a confirm on a combo, why would you try and extend it with ice wall > krash? You would use ice karpet. If you use ice wall as an ambush to create mid screen corner pressure, why would you want to destroy it?
The wording of the buff implies that Ice Krash is supposed to be an ambush IF ice wall is up. This would actually be useful in a lot of ways, as you could use it to protect unsafe moves, interrupt, break guard etc. But that's not what happens. If icewall is already up, and you want to break it with ice krash afterward, to get the big popup, you have to use a normal Ice Krash as either a raw hit (dumb, have to be close to wall, wont break wall if blocked) or an extender, which again why would I do this if I can just ice karpet for a superior corner combo using the wall?
As a subzero/frost main, who has played each season to God/Elder God, this patch was incredibly frustrating. It's like the developers saw that these characters are in need of help and said to themselves "what is the most useless shit we can give them that looks like a buff?"
I just dont get these guys.
