I feel i need to be held accountable so im at day 3. Slept much better and anxiety not so high. Trying to give myself some grace.
I have been a problem drinker for years and turned into a person i dont like esp over the past few years.
Today i had a job interview for a higher role so fingers crossed on that. I am going to celebrate tonight with icecream with my kids instead of being half cut for bed time.

I'm replaying Blasphemous 2 (good for Spanish practice lmao), and the one thing I remember really hating last time was Odon, in the ocean area. And yeah, replaying it I can see why.
For context, my favorite game ever is probably Hollow Knight, so I really like punishing metroidvanias, and it's not the difficulty that I don't like. It's just annoying
He has adds, which are already usually bad in a boss fight, and even though the arena is fairly large his teleport moves mean he's always on your ass even when trying to kill his minions. And I really want to kill his minions, because the actual guy's attacks are fun. They come out surprisingly quick, but they all work and are easily dodgeable once you see them coming. But it almost feels like the game doesn't want you to see that good combat, because the moment you clear out his adds he summons more.
And on top of it all he doesn't even have a cool theme to listen to while you fight him, just ocean noises. Even a basic boss theme would honestly have made this fight a lot more fun, and the lack of music doesn't serve any thematic purpose I can see.
Sorry for the rant, I do love the rest of this game, but I really feel like they made a misstep with Odon.

Hi all! I'm new here, and have been suffering with varying things for a while. But early this year, I got really sick with some stomach issues. I've been having consistent Dr's appointments and testing with clear results, and yet I'm here feeling like poopier poop nearly a year later. Now, I'd been wanting to lose weight for a while, and because my stomach issues make me struggle to eat, I started losing weight. So I decided to take advantage of it and "lose on purpose". And I will say that I've lost over 35lbs now, and am happy about it and would like to lose more. I've also had periods this year(when I got injured and was unable to walk) where I basically stayed at maintenance and didn't gain or lose for a few months. But now that I'm up and moving again, I'm losing again. And while it's nice to lose, I'm getting so frustrated that it's because I'm sick. It's fundamentally changed the way I can eat. Which again, is not inherently a bad thing, but sucks when it comes with everything else.
I guess I don't really know why I'm posting. I think I'm just really frustrated, and I feel bad posting in the weight loss subs because I don't want to sound like I'm whining about losing weight when I know so many others are struggling.

I’m a 25-year-old woman, and my girlfriend is 26. I love her so much—she’s my best friend, my rock, and an amazing person. But I’m afraid I’m not in love anymore, and I don’t know what to do.
Before I met her, I used to enjoy casual relationships and the excitement of meeting new women. When I was 22, I started to crave a deeper connection, and that’s when I met my girlfriend. She’s everything I could ask for: beautiful, smart, funny, and so caring. She goes above and beyond for me, always making me feel loved and supported.
But lately, I’ve realized I’m not sexually attracted to her anymore. I don’t want this to be true, but I can’t deny it. I miss sex and intimacy, yet I don’t feel the desire to initiate anything with her. She’s even asked me if I still find her attractive because I’ve pulled away physically, and it breaks my heart. I think she’s the most beautiful human I’ve ever met—inside and out—but something is missing for me.
To make things worse, I’ve caught myself daydreaming about other women. I hate that I’m not giving her my full attention because she deserves so much better. She’s perfect in so many ways, but she’s not the type of woman I would have gravitated toward before we got together, and I wonder if that’s part of why I feel this way now.
The thought of losing her or seeing her with someone else absolutely devastates me. But I also know it’s unfair to her for me to stay in this relationship when I’m feeling like this. She deserves someone who’s as fully invested in her as she is in me.
I don’t know what to do. I don’t want to lose her, but I also don’t want to hurt her by staying in a situation where I’m not happy. Has anyone been through something like this? How do you figure out what’s right in a situation like this?

we moved in together last April and since December, I periodically find my things to be wet and reeking of urine. anything fabric near the ground is at risk. usually clothes, my dresser drawers, suitcases, air mattresses, blankets, etc. she took him to the vet last year and he had no medical issues and it just keeps happening and we have no idea why or how to fix it. I found a laundry detergent that neutralizes the smell, but not everything is salvageable or washable and I’ve had a few hundreds of dollars worth of stuff ruined and I need it to stop. i don’t think it’s an issue of the smell not coming out good enough because it’s new stuff he’s peeing on almost every time. we have a litterbox on each floor and they get cleaned often. I can’t just lock him out of my space because I have a cat too and I don’t want to keep her trapped in or out of our space. i don’t feel like it’s a territorial thing because they get along really well and it didn’t start until over 6 months of living together. I’m at a complete loss.
