I’ve been dating my girlfriend for a while now, and while I care about her deeply, I’m starting to feel like I’m not actually dating her—I’m dating her family. Before they knew about us, we could hang out alone and enjoy simple moments, like grabbing tacos together, without anyone else tagging along. But since she got more involved in church, she’s started following her parents’ rules more strictly, and now it feels like every time we spend time together, there’s always someone else with us—usually her brother or her parents. It went from only letting her brother tag along to now, every time we go out, I have to take out her parents too. It just feels like I’m dating her family instead of her.
I’ve done everything “right” from the start, asking her dad for permission to date her, respecting their family values, and taking things slow. But I’m struggling because I feel like I can’t ever get private, one-on-one time with her. I just want to feel at ease, free, and comfortable—enjoying something simple together without feeling judged. I respect her beliefs, but it’s becoming frustrating, and I’m not sure how to navigate this.
Has anyone else been in a similar situation? How do you handle a relationship where your partner’s family is always involved, and how do you find balance between respecting their boundaries and having a relationship of your own?

I have 3 lines as part of a 10-line family plan with T-Mobile. I'm planning on moving 3 lines to a separate plan with T-Mobile. What would be the best solution for my situation? There is no need for a yearly phone upgrade, Netflix, etc. I just need basic stuff like the Essential plan offers. Can I move my 3 lines directly to the Essential plan or do I have to jump to a different carrier (Mint?) and jump back to T-Mobile to qualify for the Essential plan?
Any recommendations or suggestions are greatly appreciated!

2024.11.25 05:49 unity9 I have two power wires (R & RC) but new Nest Thermostat only has an R port. Could I ignore RC wire and only connect R to R?
There is no jumper involved. I have separate cooling and heating and hence two wires. One to my old thermostat. Would any thing bad happens if I just connect one power wire and safety tuck the other away? My understanding is that internally Nest jumps power for heating and cooling.
I also have a B line (blue) that I’m connecting to C port on nest. Correct?

Arguably one of the biggest questions in the guitar community.
I have a Mesa Mark V:35 and I absolutely love the 80s thrash tones you can get. But nevertheless Im chachasing the dragon wanting to get a more modern, drop tunnings focused, tone out of the Mark V.
The question is should I throw an overdrive/tube screamer style pedal in front of the amp and if so what pedals do you all recommend? Any pointers in the unending tone journey would be appreciated.
