We literally do not care about these no name new contestants. The remaining fish are incredibly boring. Simbal actually tried in challenges and provided content. It's pretty unfair that he came this far and got voted out by randoms. If they were to introduce all the past contestants tomorrow as new contestants, who know about fish tank now, and actually compete in these challenges while crushing these randoms, it would be the only way this show turns around. That is if simbal is actually permanently gone. Otherwise it's kinda cooked.

2024.11.25 06:40 Curious-Researcher Advice? disaster -- late training time claims? Extra time to help IHSS clients w/ temp relocation?
Arghh! Does the state ever bend deadlines due to extenuating circumstances? And can I get extra time for helping my IHSS clients cope with a minor disaster to our housing? It would likely take me to >66 hrs/wk for two time periods.
Details:
My IHSS relatives and I finally returned this week to the water-and-mold damaged rental from which we'd been temporarily displaced early this month. I was the one who'd had to do all the physical work of both moves and help with the ADLs. So after more vacuuming, mopping, unpacking i finally turned to filing my IHSS training hours, and discovered that the deadline had been 11/15, not 11/30.
Argh. I probably should have also contacted their IHSS social worker to request extra hours I needed -- for packing/unpacking of their food & personal stuff, the moves themselves, more complicated cooking/clean-up, etc.? Am I too late for requesting extra hours, if it's even possible? It's been across both time periods in November -- in fact the kitchen plumbing was finally pub back on Friday evening, so I'm still moving us back into the kitchen, doing the extra laundry, etc., but officially we are back.
