 | Last update here: https://www.reddit.com/OneOrangeBraincell/s/SZuM1o6uce September of 2023, our boy Gargamel experienced extremely painful kidney stones and an eventual urethra blockage. A 48 hour hospital stay (and 5k+ in vet bills) our boy was home and recovering. So now it is a bit more than a year later and I was looking back on old posts and thought you all would like an update. Our boy has faithfully received wet and dry uretic food with a vitamin supplement to improve kidney function since his ordeal and I’m happy to say he did not suffer a second blockage. It took a few months before there was no more blood in his urine, but he has been clear for most of the last year and is in much better spirits. He had his annual with a teeth cleaning where they checked him out. It looks like his kidneys are functioning well and no signs of crystals. He now absolutely HATES the vet, but better that than dead. He has had an eventful year, moving only a few months after his ER stay, a home renno, and lots more. But Gargamel and his brother Azrael are happily together again and living in harmony. So, if your cat is experiencing urinary issues, recovery is possible, you can get through this. I am a below average looking guy. I get extremely few matches on dating apps and when I do manage to go on dates once in a blue moon (via app or some other connection), there is no attraction from the woman's side. The date is more like an interview, their body language is very closed off, and all the pressure is on me to keep things interesting and keep the ball rolling.
This is so different than how my other friends date: They go on a date, the women seem eager to initiate physical affection, they get these signs that the woman is physically into them, they makeout, then just hookup on 1st, 2nd date or maybe 3rd at max, have fun for a while and see where things go. Sometimes it ends up being a short term fling and other times into a longer term relationship. For them, the physical and sexual attraction come first and only then they form the emotional bond and worry about longer term compatibility. I have myself been present with my guy friends on 1st dates and its a completely different atmosphere. Its like they have known each other for long. They have an instant sexual chemistry that I have never experienced in my life.
I have been told by women in my circle/family that since I am not good-looking, I need to pursue women very hard. That I need to bring a good value proposition to them and convince them to give me a chance. That I need to wear my heart on my sleeve and show my willingness to emotionally invest and commit for long term or even marriage from day 1. That I also need to showcase that I'm willing to be a good provider. Only then some women might give me a chance because they are done dating men they sexually enjoy and are specifically looking for a long term commitment and value certainty. It will be a calculated choice for them, not a natural one. They told me that a woman has to ease herself into accepting you, so don't expect any physical affection let alone sex until much later when she begins to feel an emotional connection with you.
They also said that how else do you see mediocre/unattractive who are married, as this is exactly how they managed to find partners.
My question for women is, firstly, do you agree with this take, and have you dated men like this? Do such relationships work?
Is it worth it from a mans perspective to try and form an emotional bond in absence of physical/sexual attraction from the woman's side or is he better off trying to find a woman who is physically/sexually attracted to him which frankly might never happen?

Examples are pokemon like maushold, whishiwashi, or falinx that are multiple pokemon in 1, or tinkaton or sirfech that have items with them? If you have a farfech and it loses its leak does it still get a shield, but no leak sword when it evolves? If a falinx gets separated and you catch 1 part of it then do the rest get caught into your ball too no matter where they are? If you catch whishiwashi then does it not change form if there are no other whishiwashi nearby? And same scenario with maushold as falinx, but if you find a tandemaus, but they are separated, then catch it do you get both? If not then when it evolves where do the children appear? Maybe if it's 2 children form then both get a child? Imagine you only have the male tandemaus and it glows to evolve and nothing happens, but in reality wherever the female is has 2 babies appear next to it.

I started mesalamine about 6 weeks ago and have since had really normal bowel movements. I still have abdominal pain (RLQ and newer in the last few months, LLQ, both worse with pressing on it).
Recently I’ve been so exhausted and out of breath. I’ll walk up the stairs and have to lay down, sometimes get really hot and nauseous, and can’t seem to find a way to feel better. I have POTS and struggled with CFS in the past, but nothing I do seems to make this feel better. I’m drinking lots of water and electrolytes but nothing. I’m also cold sometimes and have noticed more hair loss.
Does anyone have anything similar? My hemoglobin is always good (sometimes slightly high, probably when dehydrated?). I’m just not sure why I’m feeling so drained

My brother wears his Sydney Sixers jersey when he doesn't have any other clothes that are clean. Everytime he talks to him while wearing the Sixers jersey I knew straight away that he needs to do his washing which he agrees. When the BBL season starts he will wear the Sixers jersey more often but that doesn't start until December. He might only wear his Parramatta Eels jersey when he got no other clean shirts because it's the NRL off season.
