Gracias por esperar esta semana. Estuvimos aplicando los estilos al sub, siguiendo el Brandbook de River para new reddit y aplicando los estilos clásicos en old.reddit.
Además actualizamos las reglas del sub, que estaban bastante escuetas e incompletas. Como así también los post flairs (etiquetas de posteos), entre otras cosas.
De ahora en más los posts nuevos deben ir en este sub.
En CARiverPlate, si bien se van a seguir permitiendo los posts, se va a dejar un aviso automático avisando que ahora este es el sub oficial.
Reglas Les pedimos que lean las reglas en la sidebar --> y las sigan al postear y comentar en el sub.
No establecimos qué castigo corresponde a qué regla y, en general, se van a revisar caso por caso, pero desde la 1 a la 5 son claros causales de BAN del sub, asi que con un poco de sentido común nos vamos a entender. El resto de las reglas son más para mantener el orden y la calidad en los posteos y su infracción conllevará, a lo sumo, a que se borren posteos. Salvo si se trata de un caso de spam recurrente.
Post flairs La idea de los flairs o etiquetas de posteo, es clasificar un post según su tema, para que un usuario sepa, en general, de que se trata un posteo antes de entrar (o a veces después).
En el sub anterior habian más de 30 flairs y era medio un quilombo, además de que casi nadie los usaba (o los usaban mal). Los hemos reducido a 15 o 16 para minimizar confusiones y alentar su uso.
Pronto vamos a hacer una pequeña guía en la wiki explicando qué temas engloba cada flair, pero en principio se debería entender con solo leer el nombre.
Si bien ustedes mismos pueden (y deberían) aplicar un flair al crear su post, no vamos a obligar a que apliquen un flair para postear (como se hace en otros subs) asi que tanqui. Pero, si no ponen un flair a su post, probablemente un mod le va a poner uno (el que le parezca que corresponde).
User flairs Los flairs de usuario se han actualizado y hay una gran variedad. Al igual que en el sub viejo son libres de elegir su propio flair de usuario.
Se el cambio que quieres ver Este es un viejo lema que vi usar en reddit, y quiere decir simplemente que un subreddit existe por y para los usuarios. Y son uds. quienes le dan "vida" al sub.
Por lo tanto, queríamos recordarles que si quieren ver algo específico, o hay algo que no les gusta o quieren cambiar o agregar al subreddit, en principio, pueden comenzar a hacerlo por uds. mismos a través de sus posteos. Y, si requiere la participación del Mod Team, pueden enviarnos un mensaje directo o crear un post con el flair "riveplate sub" para generar una discusión sobre algún tema específico del sub.

So I stole the dice from iron sworn, and gave each player three skills a normal person would have (job hobby and interest) . And I'm trying to figure out how to do combat that doesn't feel floaty and impactless
Like they're regular people in a fantasy mid 90's like world ( think fantasy high or bright ) and I wanna have them fight a unicorn (a think of a moose that shoots lasers ) but I'm trying to figure out how not to one shot my players
Because they don't have health and a normal person can't survive a regular moose attack much less one will a spear on it's head that shoots rainbow lasers . How can I show the danger and give them the ability to survive it without fudging my own roles and constantly saying "well it almost hit you but you're fine, but the tree behind you is completely screwed up" . I want combat to be tactical and puzzle like but have several different answers to solve it

 | This has been an issue to my brand new iphone 15 after updating to ios 18 and when viewing hdr contents(both photos and videos) from photos app,youtube,instagram, the black subject/under exposed part becomes a blocky mess kinda artifacts and apple replaced my display saying it’s a hardware issue but nothing is fixed. The service centre guy also has the same issue but never noticed. Situation: 5 year old male cat (let’s call him Perp) poops outside of litter box 9/10 times. Sometimes directly in front of his litter boxes, sometimes around the house in corners or under chairs/beds. He does this even if all the boxes are clean. He has no issues with peeing outside the litter box, only pooping. Perp has history with constipation so he gets a little bit of restoralax every morning with his wet food. I have 2 other male cats, ages 4 and 2. Have 4 litter boxes in one room for all of them. I’ve taken Perp to the vet and he is healthy (other than constipation.) What else could I be missing here??

Hi! I'm usually pretty good at detecting sketchy sites and this one seemed a bit off to me (couldn't find much info online, everything was on sale - though not massively enough to immediently alert me to it being sus, etc) but the rest of it seemed legit enough for me to considering purchasing. They have a plush I really want and are the only site that'll ship to Australia without costing an arm and a leg, which may be clouding my judgement thanks to my impulsivity. Has anybody ordered from here and should I risk it or just accept that I won't be able to get the plush? Help!
