I have been addicted (and I may still be), and used Afrin for sleep almost every night for one and a half year, but only on one nostril and only one shot before sleep. No Afrin -> no air, panic attacks, sleepless nights, headache in the morning (only on left side, this was my Afrin side 😅)
I recently visited an ENT and got Mometasone. I used it for a week with 1x2 shots in the morning. Meanwhile i used hypertonic and isotonic salt sprays too. Mometasone helped a bit, but I still wasn’t able to sleep through the night, however when I woke up at night, salt sprays helped me to get clear my nose a bit. I stopped using Mometasone 3 days ago, and sticked with salt sprays only. I use them religiously during the day but I still keep waking up at night. Sometime salt sprays help, sometimes not. I noticed some improvements during the days recently as I am able to sit still without congestion for quite a long time, I have airflow when bending over, so overall, existing without Afrin got more bearable.
But what the heck is going on? I didn’t consider myself a serious addict (only one shot for one nostril, only for sleeping, and not even every time - but most of the times, it’s true) This is how the process should look and feel like? And will it get better with time if I keep using the salt sprays? Almost 2 weeks passed since I went cold turkey with the help of steroids, but healing is reeeaaaally slow… does it healing at all?
ENT said everything is fine, a little deviated spetum but nothing serious, and a little inflammation, but this is also normal in this weather 🙄
I have no clue…

• The camera is a fucking disaster. Pictures come out as overprocessed AI bullshit. • It's a compact-sized heat chamber. Continuous FPS drops make gaming frustrating. As they say, you can't game on Samsung. • Max brightness gets locked out in sunlight or if the phone gets a lil bit hot. • If there’s an ongoing call on SIM 1, SIM 2 shows as switched off to others. What even is this? • Battery and SOT? You already know the drill—disappointing, to say the least. • 25W charging in 2024? C'mon man.
Honestly, apart from the look and feel, this phone doesn’t behave like a premium device. My mid-range OnePlus was far better in almost every aspect.

I just wandered far out to look for bigger patches, and found an area on Nauvis with Gleba trees and Fulgora scrap patches.
Surely this isn't right?
I used rich resources to start then switched to deathworld using /editor after about 50 hours because it was too easy. Maybe I hit regenerate chunks but didn't think it did anything.

Hey I (26F) just got approved for weight loss surgery. Initially my parents were happy and supportive of my decision but now they aren’t, I also currently live with them. My mom says that weight loss surgery is just a quick fix, that there is too many risks, that I could die and that it could impact my ability to have kids. I tried telling her that weight loss has been extremely hard for me since I have PCOS and insulin resistance. I also tried telling her that it’s a myth that weight loss surgery will negatively impact a person’s ability to have kids but she didn’t believe me. I’m just frustrated and wondering how I’m going to get through this surgery without my family’s support. Does anyone have any advice? How do you deal with people who don’t want you to get the surgery?

my roommate has recently gotten a boyfriend and they have been together for around 4 months. for the past 6 weeks (that i have started to really notice; it probably has been longer) he’s had slept at our apartment. like, not one night in the past 6 weeks has he gone home and slept in his own bed. on top of that they sit in her room with the door open talking loudly for hours until they go to bed around 12:30-1am. additionally she put stuff for him to shower in our bathtub and i feel like that is something that should be discussed. it’s not like he lives far away, he has access to a shower at his own house. or at least keep his stuff in her room and take it to the bathroom when he needs it-our shower is already crowded as it is. on top of this sometimes he sits in the bathroom (which is connected to my room) and they talk the entire time while screaming over music that is playing which really disturbs me..like pick one or the other. one time they started to have sex while i am 10ft away in my bed and its 1am and im trying to sleep.
The part that frustrated me the most is that i saw him opening the front door of our apartment the other day with a key that she gave him. i find this pretty rude and disrespectful considering he does not live there, pay rent, or is on the lease. she never discussed it and i am not okay with it.
