So,
I have memory from the 90's I think of a TV mini / series about a young man going to London and lodging with an old lady in WWII or up to the 50's possibly, she was against bringing ladies in the house, quite strict. The young man might of worked in Civil service or the MoD. I think there was a blonde (I believe) lady in a red dress trying to seduce him at some point.
I have no idea why but this popped into my head and I have been googling for ages and I am missing every piece of information that might make it easily findable annoyingly.

I live in India and there's no way to directly make the purchase. I've watched tons of reviews and have following questions before I ask my cousin to bring one for me from the US.
- I love Magic Keyboard. How does the key-travel and key-force required compares to magic keyboard? I prefer keyboard with very less key-travel and almost zero key-force (not sure what the word is).
- Which key type (Red, Brown, Moss etc.) creates the least sound when pressed? I prefer silent keyboards.

I'm on my first real playthrough and I just got to the fountainhead palace. After getting molly whopped by a regular lightning spear dude I saw a loading screen telling me about Hanbei at the temple. I go back to see and find out I skipped that tiny little area entirely. Was he just there this whole time?

2024.11.25 08:50 solidgun1 How important are written descriptions on Kickstarter for you?
After being on Kickstarter for a while as a backer, I have realized that I rarely read the descriptions that are in paragraph formats.
I will read whatever is part of graphics, look through specifications, but I just realized that I don't really read the whole story about the creator or anything that is longer than a couple of paragraphs as I browse. Do you think this is true of most of the other backers?

2024.11.25 08:50 Far_Breakfast_5808 [SERIOUS] From the perspective of the INC, why is celebrating Christmas not allowed due to it being "pagan"/not being in the Bible, but celebrating the anniversary and the Manalo birthdays are allowed and encouraged, despite not also being in the Bible?
I'm too shy to ask an INC member or leader myself regarding this question, but it's something that has bothered me for a long time. I want to hear from their perspective why celebrating Christmas (and other holidays) is "pagan" and thus not allowed, yet the anniversary and birthdays don't get the same treatment despite also not being in the Bible. I need to emphasize that this is a serious question and I don't want to hear snarky comments and stuff like that. Has anyone tried asking an INC minister, deacon, etc. regarding this question? Like you're not gonna find July 27, May 10, January 2, or October 31 in the Bible, so by that logic, those dates shouldn't be celebrated too.

Hey, I know this has been asked a few times, but what do you recommend is the best prep for someone with a bad quant foundation (BA in the humanities, haven't done math since high school)? Does TTP also work for studying the GRE, or is it GMAT exclusive?
I have Gregmat and its great, but I feel like I need a more extensive and interactive explanation for the Quant problems than Gregmat offers. Any ideas?
