Hi,
Iām looking for some guidance really, Iām on 42k PA, current monthly outgoings are 850 on rent and bills, and Iām saving 1K a month in a high interest ISA with 10k in savings. Job safety is incredibly high.
Iām currently renting a room in a house share, but Iāve always wanted to live on my own (only child and prefer my own company) Iāve had a look around and I think I could find a place plus bills for Ā£1400 ish (Big city in the west of England), this would eat into my savings significantly per month.
Iām stuck really! Thereās absolutely sod all chance of me being able to buy a place realisticly but Iām not sure if living on my own is a wise financial decision?
Iāve also considered looking into investments, as currently my savings are just getting 4% and not really doing anything, but I am a recovering gambling addict so stocks etc might be triggering for me?
Any advice would be amazing!

Just need to get this off my chest. Long story short , I hung out with an old crush that I had drunkenly messed around with ( made a post about it awhile ago) nothing sexual happened. Although I did want something to happen even shaved my hole for him. Hanging out was fun and he looked sooo good !
Problem was that he made his usual comments that are kind of like bantering but I didn't have much rebuttal for them like I usually do. For instance, he made a comment about my hair and wardrobe but I had nothing witty to say just felt kind of hurt. He also said something about "liking to put his dick in things he finds cute." While he did put it in me once , I don't think he thinks I'm cute. idk maybe its just my insecurity.
I definitely want to try having sex with him again but I should feel like I'm wanted at least. Also idk why I should be the one to initiate.

What am I even doing with my life? I'm a BBA fresher, currently unemployed, despite trying every job portal like Naukri, Indeed, and LinkedIn. My mom works as a teacher in a private college, but her salary barely covers our household expenses.
