Throwaway account here, because I obviously don't want anyone who knows me knowing about this.
I (21F) got married to my long term partner (23M) earlier this year. My partner and I struggled immensely to make this happen, as my family disapproves of our relationship. Therefore, I had noone from my side at my wedding. Although a bit sad, it didn't matter to me much, because I didn't want a big wedding at all. I just wanted to marry the love of my life and that's it. And so we got a small venue, a nice dress for me to wear, and we invited my partner's side of the family only.
After the small cermony and a brief dinner, the adults gathered to talk together and whatnot. Meanwhile, My husband and I were playing with the kids (from his family's side, his relatives' kids, so his nieces and nephews.) I was pretty tired and emotional after getting married, so I was a bit out of it.
That's when my niece (my husband's niece, really) left from the yard where we were playing and into the venue where the other adults were and she started bawling her eyes out. My husband went after her and asked her what was wrong, and she said it was because I wasn't paying attention to her.
Now, my husband didn't make it a big deal and neither did the other relatives. But here is the thing, I am autistic and things get "ruined" for me easily (a food can get "ruined" for me because someone forced me to eat it, a movie can get "ruined" for me because someone told me to shut up during it, a sport can get "ruined" for me because someone was berating me for not being good enough mid-game... etc. and an event can get ruined for me when something like this happens.)
In the moment, I didn't express my nerves at all, and I just went to comfort her, and then we played some more before leaving the venue. I didn't bring this up to anyone, not even my husband, but this really ruined my wedding day for me and I view my niece as a spoiled attention seeking brat. I know I didn't want a big, expensive wedding, but that doesn't mean I didn't want the day to be magical.
My husband adores her, but I can't help but dislike her. I would never voice this out loud, however.
Here is where I might be the AH. My niece is young. Don't get me wrong, she's not so young where she doesn't understand anything, but she's about 9 if I had to guess. I'm aware I'm at least insanely petty for this if not the AH. So, Reddit, judge me. AITA?

 | We are looking to buy our first Mac for my wife as she has started a store and switch from Canva to Adobe creative cloud which is killing our intel PC. We are going to use this PC for Adobe products and our 3d print slicer. I’ve seen incredible things related to the new M4 but I come from a PC world and so when comparing specs I can’t tell if I’ll notice a massive difference or not. These two specs are fairly different in price but are basically my main options. Maxing on the m4 or going up to the m4 pro and getting more memory. For $200 more I could also upgrade the m4 pro to the additional cores. My question: is this $700 noticeable? I can tell if the $1300 config will run so great I’m kind of throwing money away to do more? So I'm always more comfortable with digital art and my xp pen and my ctrl z.. But two days ago my sister got me a black paper sketch book and I was like ok it's maybe time to grab a white pen and try sth new.. Turns out I ve lost my white pen so I had to use white pastel (which the last time I used it was like 15 years ago when I was 5) so I started drawing some random curvy lines and try to make a face out of it like the videos you see on YouTube with coal.. So it didn't turn out anything like a face😂, I tried softening it with my fingers and eraser and added some light and shadows and this is the final result.. Kind of a disaster.. And it's no wonder.. I don't recall the last time I drew anything serious on paper.. Just maybe doodling in class when Im bored.. But still it felt good to for once step back and instead of staring at my laptop and using a xp pen on a freaking big touchpady thing, go to old fashion mode and draw on paper.. So help me Improve this.. Why this looks wrong.. It's hard not to have ctrl z 😂😂 Thank you in advance and im sorry for my English is not that good

2024.11.25 09:20 highdefinitionjoke Cat keeps getting dehydrated despite all clear from vet and all wet food diet - what am I missing?
Basically the title. Cat is 16-17 (vets guess), semi-feral, unneutered (I know…), and been fed only wet food for like 11 years by my parents.
He was blocked earlier this year, and also had to be rehydrated this year too on a separate occasion. He stayed overnight that time and they did a lot of tests - we were all shocked to find he has good kidney function, no FIV, no leukaemia, etc.
The blockage was only caught by vet on pure chance, because we never see him pee/poop (or lack thereof) (he lives outside) and he was eating etc.
The dehydration was quite pronounced however because he (and another of our indoor-outdoor cats) had a little tummy bug (throwing up) and he refused to eat for 24-48 hrs which I know can be dangerous in cats so he went to vet.
Now he seems a little dehydrated again, but not like before. But I’m worried it’s happening again (he eats but not as much as is normal for him), and his skin elasticity seems a little slow.
How can I get on top of this and keep him properly hydrated? He only eats wet food, and a lot of it!! I don’t understand :(
