Im devastated I’m feeling really discouraged and could use some words of encouragement or stories from people who’ve been in a similar place.
I finished my degree 5 months ago (my official ceremony will be in December), and I’ve been applying for HR-related roles—both entry-level jobs and internships—ever since. I’ve sent out hundreds of applications, hoping to get my foot in the door. HR is what I studied, but it’s quite funny how I find it challenging to even get myself an internship.
On top of that, I recently went through a breakup with someone I genuinely thought I’d marry. 2 months post breakup and still not doing good. It’s been hard to recover from that, and I’ve lost a lot of my confidence in the process.
A month ago, I finally got a phone call which resulted to an invitation for internship interview at a big name MNC. It was my first and only real opportunity, and I thought it might finally be my break into the working world.
I was so hopeful. But today, I got an email saying they didn’t have an appropriate opportunity for me.
I feel like I’m losing hope. It’s like everything is piling up at once—the rejections, the job market, and the heartbreak. I know I can’t give up, but it’s so hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel right now. Both my sisters got into a well known oil & gas industry right after study, yet I’ve been unemployed for so long.
If anyone has been in a similar situation—struggling to find a job, dealing with rejection, or bouncing back from heartbreak—how did you get through it? I could really use some reassurance that things will get better.

My wife (38/f) and I (38/m) have been together for 20 years and until recently I thought that our relationship was fairly solid, although admittedly things had gotten pretty quiet in the bedroom and a lot of that was down to me. I don't really know why, I just lost interest in sex a bit and I suppose life got in the way. We still had sex occasionally but it was seldom. This is relevant because in recent weeks she has become a lot more interested in sex and she said that she just wanted to relight the spark and I've been happily participating.
There was something niggling at the back of my mind though, maybe because I read a lot in the past about a renewed interest in sex can mean that someone else is in the picture, but I just felt that there was more to this. So I did something that I've never done before and I snooped on her phone. There was nothing in her messages or call logs but something made me think to check her browsing history, and then I could see that she's regularly visiting a chat room. I didn't open the link, I didn't look at anything else, I could just see various times where she's gone to the site and logged in and I can see that she's receiving messages on it just based on the title saying you have x number of new messages. I'm pretty sure if I opened the link the account would have been logged in but I couldn't bring myself to do it. I felt sick and scared to continue looking in fear of what I might find so I just closed out of everything.
It's worth mentioning at this point that I initially think this just something she gets off on. I don't think she's having an affair or anything, there are no signs of something like that, but it still feels like a betrayal. I have no issue with her watching porn etc. everyone has needs, but actively participating in intimate conversations with other people feels like a step too far in my view. And of course maybe she could be having a 'virtual' affair with someone online, like it could be the same person she's talking to all the time and not random strangers. I don't know, there are so many possibilities and my head isn't really clear right now.
I don't know how to proceed now though, I don't want to confront her based on her browsing history because I don't want her knowing I was snooping on her phone and she could try to turn things around to my invading her privacy. I need to sort this out but I need to do it right so I need to find a way to bring it up without saying "I saw this on your phone". And I'm also concerned that I'm about to open a can of worms here than can never be shut again, 20 years is a long time to risk so I'm trying to balance everything until I get the full picture. So any advice would be very much appreciated.

This post has two parts, commenting and looking for why I should even play Castile. And general advice for the Iberian Christian nations
So, I'm achievement hunting, and found the Christian Iberians somewhat fun. Well, two of them. Portugal and Aragon.
I've attempted four Castile games, and each time find it... underwhelming. Aragon and Portugal, both first time I found fun and do decedecently well. Castile however, because of the two disasters I'm the 1400's, I'm just wondering what's the point of playing them?
Not to mention. Achievement wise, Portugal has the unique achievements for Navigator and All Blue. Aragon has Consulate of the Seas and The Reapers. But all Castile achievements can be done as Spain. Which can be formed by any of the Three.
My other big set of questions centers around the best route to take for each? Obviously a colonial game is most likely in order. But I feel the Iberians in particular seem like a good jumping off point in Africa by taking Religious ideas early (I'm really tempted to look at Exploration, Expansion, Religious or add Quantity than Religious).
Any other advice for these three nations is also useful. Still learning stuff, after all it may be impossible to know every single mechanic. I'm still trying for my first WC, but motivation always drops fast after 1510 or so.

This post is a serious question.
I was raised to be a saver, not a spender. I learned that from my Dad and him from my grandfather and so on. I had a successful career and was fortunate enough,through hard work, investing, and saving, to retire early at the age of 50 (a decade ago).
I have always loved comics since I was in 5th grade,especially 60's Marvel, which takes me back to when I was a kid. I love the artwork and the stories. Today, there isn't any single comic that I actually couldn't afford to buy outright ( and I mean not ANY 1 of them , including Action comics #1- But I'm not a superman fan anyway, so that issue holds no personal desire to own, other than an investment vehicle.)
The point is , while there are a lot of issue/titles I would love to and could easily own, and I drool when I see early key issues come up for sale at high visibility auctions, i am having an impossible time parting with the funds, even for low graded or inexpensive pieces.
How does one get past this "miser" approach. I'm not actually a miser when it comes to charities/gifts etc., but when it involves anything else to purchase for leisure I am for some reason. It's ingrained in my DNA to be frugal and not spend money unless it's truely necessary. It's the same reason I drive a 12 year old car instead of new, a 1K tv instead of 4k or 8k , etc.. Part of it is not wanting to spend the money (obviously), but part is also I'm pretty content with what I have. I've never concerned myself to "keep up with the Joneses" so to speak.
How do i get past this (mental) roadblock?
