Ciao, dopo anni a uscire sporadicamente in bici, vita sedentaria per via del lavoro, mi sono deciso di rimettermi in carreggiata e rimettermi in forma. Partendo dal presupposto che dovevo perdere del peso (partivo da 86 kx per 1,76 cm di altezza), come primo step mi sto facendo seguire da una nutrizionista. Per partire e riprendere le basi ho iniziato a seguire il piano "10-12wk FTP Builder" su Zwift in modo da consentirmi di lavorare in Z2. A distanza di un mese mi trovo ad aver perso quasi 6kg.
Ora mi chiedo quale sia lo step successivo, ovvero quale piano seguire che mi consenta di allenarmi per giri di 80/90km con dislivelli di 1000/1500 mt?
Avendo sempre giocato a calcio, il mio fisico, anche per costituzione, è sempre stato molto esplosivo, ma ha sempre pagato su uno sforzo progressivo in durata. Per questo il mio punto debole sono sempre state le salite, dove non sono mai riuscito a migliorarmi più di tanto.
Vorrei riuscire la durata delli allenamenti intorno ai 60 minuti, anche perchè principalmente li svolgerei in pausa pranzo. Accetto consigli. Grazie

Hi everyone,
I’m a 29-year-old guy who recently started noticing early signs of thinning on my crown. Nothing major, but enough for me to notice, and since my dad also has thinning in that area, it was something I kind of expected. I read that Minoxidil is most effective when started early, so I decided to give it a shot and started using it about a week ago.
Last night, after applying Minoxidil, I experienced the biggest hair shed I’ve ever seen. Literally hundreds of hairs fell out — it almost formed a ball in the sink. Naturally, I panicked. Now I’m extremely worried that I made a mistake. I know shedding phases are expected, but I wasn’t prepared for this much hair loss so quickly. I’ve also come across some horror stories on Reddit, which only made me more anxious.
The reason I’m considering stopping Minoxidil is because the timing couldn’t be worse — the holiday season, New Year’s, and my 30th birthday are all coming up in the next 1–2 months. I really want to keep my wavy, thick hair for these events.
If I stop using Minoxidil now, will my hair return to the way it was before, or have I already committed to the process and have to keep going? I’m feeling panicked, and this is only after one week of using 2% Minoxidil.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I just got the Samsung G60SD 1440p 360hz as a replacement for the LG 27GN850 1440p 144hz IPS and have a huge issue getting it to work in my 4 monitor setup. Windows is not allowing me to have all 4 monitors active at the same time, only 3 monitors can be enabled at a time. Nvidia Control Panel automatically deselects a monitor when I try to select the G60SD (see video). Everything was working fine before the new G60SD.
My setup is
- MSI RTX 3080
- 1x Samsung G60SD DP 1.4
- 2x LG 27QN600 1440p 75hz using DP 1.4
- 1x LG CX48 4k 120hz OLED using HDMI 2.1
- Changed the refresh rate on all monitors to 60hz in windows
- Changed 4k display to 1080p resolution in windows
- Changed other 27QN600 monitors to use DP 1.1 in the OSD
- Disabled GSYNC
- Set the G60SD to 8-bit color and HDR disabled in windows
- Tried multiple different DP cables on the G60SD
- Updated firmware on G60SD to latest version

Hi everyone, I'm planning to buy a new pc.
I’m considering a Ryzen 9900x and RTX 4070 super build for gaming and work (software and game development, and possibly some machine learning) with a budget of around 2000$.
I'm undecided about which motherboard to buy, mainly due to the limited availability of many models on Amazon (Europe).The main option I'm considering is the MSI B650 Tomahawk at about 200 € (~ 210$).
Would it be a solid and future-proof choice? I'll probably upgrade the GPU with a 5080/70 next year. In your opinion, would a B650 still be suitable, or should I opt for at least a B650E?
Regarding the PSU, I've narrowed my options to the NZXT C ATX3.1. Is it better to go with the 1000w to take account future upgrades or would that be overkill and the 850W version be a better choice?

Hi there everyone, i’m new to the sub and i’m honestly so hoppy i found it, it’s not easy to deal with mg, especially given the fact that it’s quite rare and it’s difficult to find people other than neurologists that can really get what we go through. I have, for now, mg confined to my left eye, even if sometimes i feel it in the legs, and i’m really young appereantly for this condition, given the fact that i’m 21 and i was 17 when i got diagnosed. I’m AchR+ positive and unfortunately i have troubles with the meds. I’m italian and over here many therapies are not yet approved so i could only go for predisone and mestinon and the outcome was not quite the one i hoped. The prednisone obviously works but i have to take a significant dose as i cannot tollerate the mestinon, i tried so much but my gut cannot withstand it. Becuase of the mestinon and the dosage of predisone and PPIs i’ve come to a point of developing a quite bad SIBO, i’ve come to understand that sometimes it’s called IBS but i don’t really get the difference and all, and so after a trial period where i’ve stop taking meds to see how quickly it would come back (very much faster than me and my doctor thought) we decided to go for a thymectomy. The surgery is scheduled for next week and i’m really nervous. It’s not the surgery itself, wich i understand is low-risk, that scares me the most, but the outcome. In the past months i’ve heard only about success stories, people who drasticly improved their condition, some to the point that they were completely cured and had no sympthoms at all, and i developed very positive feelings about it. in the last few weeks tho i talked more about it with my doctor and he is not this positive at all. He told me that this kind of improvement, even to get a complete remission, is absolutely possible but very much unlikely in my case. Because i don’t have the general form of mg that kind of outcome is difficoult to get, also given the fact that my thyme is not that big. To be fair i don’t have a thymoma, but a residual thyme tissue, 3x1.5 cm. Now all my positive energy towards this surgey is quite vanished and i’m left full of doubts to the point that i ask my self if it’s even worth it. i don’t have much of a choice, i cannot take predisone for the rest of my life as in the long term it causes more problems then benefits and i get the fact that i have no choice but to basically try anything available. I’m still scared i will come out of this not stronger then i went in at all tho. My biggest fear is to get worse and develop the general mg, to the point were i cannot even walk (i’ve heard stories of this). I’ve already lost a year at uni becuase of the flares i had this year, were my double vision was so bad i could not even get to walk outside without wearing an eyepatch and i’m so scared i’ll miss so many other things in life…. I guess i’m just looking here to hear from you all that went through this and find all that positive attitude i had back then. So please be honest and brutal, i’m sick of the people close to me who only know to fake a smile and go for a “it’s gonna be ok don’t worry”, share your stories if you feel like it, i would really appreciate that.

I just know that the monitor either should have inbuilt rotation capabilities or support of VESA mount. But I think thick bezels can harm the aesthetics.
