I have twin brothers, both 18 years old, who have been fighting constantly for the past five years. One of them, I will call him Benjamin, has mental disabilities, while the other, I will call him Anthony, is completely healthy.
The trouble started five years ago when Anthony began insulting and bullying Benjamin because of his disability. Our parents are very busy running their own company, so they’re rarely at home. This left me, as the oldest sibling (six years older than them), to step in and take charge. I tried to punish whoever was being mean, but most of the time, it was Anthony targeting Benjamin.
Despite all my efforts to protect Benjamin and stop Anthony’s behavior, it didn’t work. The bullying continued for years, and it deeply hurt Benjamin’s fragile mental health. I feel very guilty about how bad things have become. For five years, until about 6 months ago, Anthony kept mocking Benjamin, and it broke him. I tried my best, but I couldn’t always be there, I had school, I was studying, and I had my own life to manage. I can’t imagine what Anthony may have done when no one else was around to stop him.
Over the past six months, the situation has completely shifted. Benjamin, now bigger (because of his disabilities) and stronger than Anthony, who is still very thin, is taking revenge. He has turned extremely violent, frequently beating Anthony, slapping, and punching him. Anthony doesn’t fight back because he knows he’s weaker now. Since our parents are always absent, I’m still the one left to manage their behavior. I’m not exaggerating when I say that Benjamin has become even more violent than Anthony ever was. He’s also extremely clumsy and doesn’t control his strength, making him a genuine danger. I have my own life and often leave the house, but I’ve noticed that Anthony is now covered in bruises and scratches.
And if you think it ended there, you’d be completely mistaken. What makes me want to share this is the fact that Benjamin s3xually assaulted Anthony. Yesterday, I was in my room, keeping an eye on theirs since their door was open. From my angle, I could only see their feet, which were easy to identify: Anthony always wears high white socks, while Benjamin’s are dark blue or black. I saw the legs in white socks going back and forth, while the dark blue socks were on top of the white socks trying to block them up. I could hear Anthony crying for help. I went into their room to investigate, to find Anthony getting s3xually abus3d by his brother. I’m not gonna go into details but they were not n4ked and Benjamin probably did that to humiliate Anthony, not s3xual purpose. It happened just yesterday, I’m speechless. I don’t know what to do. And to make things clear, no I am not trolling.

2024.11.25 10:59 sipso3 If you reached stable frametimes but the image is still stuttering try disabling HAGS.
Try disabling HAGS. This will disable FG however, so be advised.
I've spent the last 6h checking various vsync, gsync, different frame limiters, second sceen on off, undervolt off on, underclock on both CPU and GPU... All the while spinning in place and enduring shader comp each reset... I even tried the Silent Hill 2 remake "fix" from DF video, -UseFixTimeStep but at 30fps i could not spot the difference.
I have a locked 60fps with rock solid frametime most of the time (except towns naturally and as long as "A Life" doesn't spawn 6 bandits behind my back) and the occasional stutter, since it is, after all, UE5. However it wasn't smooth despite all the graphs showing that it should be. I could see frames on the screen holding up for a few miliseconds too long, especially jarring with the amount of trees on bright sky's background. I've found a place where fps wouldn't budge from 60. During the "spin in place using a controller for a smooth motion" test i could see stuttering despite FPS and frametime display not moving. Disabling HAGS resolved the issue.
Sadly i spend my money on the computer instead of my phone, so i can't even record the phenomenon properly.
This is not a post against HAGS. It just happened to help with the issue on my config. Worth a shot, if you're out of options.

With the upcoming DKC RETURNS HD release I was wondering:
Back in the June Direct, when they started showing some Donkey Kong material, my excitement dropped from incredibly happy to slightly disappointed when I realised, it was a remake of RETURNS they were announcing.
I was genuinely hoping for a HD Remaster of the original trilogy. I don’t know why, but in my eyes this would have been the better choice regarding a millennial audience hungry for childhood nostalgia.
Of course, RETURNS is a great game. But still. It feels so pointless to re-release one more time.
Anyone else with the same thoughts?

left my job last month due to it having terrible effects on my mental health. went on holiday (it was prepaid before i left my job), came back, suffered and currently recovering from a health complication. £300 to my name, no job.
my last paycheque i was due to receive today was a grand total of my salary - deductions = £0. i have a meeting with universal credit today. i’ve been applying for jobs but the thought of going back into a job that i don’t like is making my mental health worse.
i have no qualifications other than my gcses. i can’t afford education. i can’t afford to learn how to drive. i have no idea how im supposed to get out of this situation. i’m 23 and i’ve trapped myself.

So basically, I (28) met this woman (29) online who lived in another country. We started talking in mid-October.
We became friends, and then, in a whirlwind, we made plans to travel together. From November 8th to November 13th, we took that trip.
I flew to her country, and one night, she got really drunk. I don’t drink. She started saying strange things like, “Let’s go out to this party,” but when I said, “OK, but it’s 3 a.m.,” she changed her mind. Throughout our conversations, we both agreed that the trip felt really rushed. Then the conversation went like this: “How do you know I’m not a serial killer? How do I know if you are?” and she replied, “Yeah, but usually the guy is.”
Then she suddenly became really sleepy and got angry when I spoke. I was like, “WTF?” And she went completely crazy over anything I did. She told me to stay quiet, so I did. A few minutes later she got up, started packing her things, and said she would be gone by the time I woke up. Then she laid back down, and I didn’t make a sound. After a while, she got up again and said she would sleep on the sofa. She said that if anyone questioned it, she’d just say I was snoring too much.
I messaged a mutual friend, and I’m not sure if they said anything to each other but im certain their did, after that, she came back and slept next to me. Before she slept, she said, “Listen, bro, I’m not scared to die, and I’m not scared to make a scene either, so shut the f*** up,” and then went to sleep.
I was terrified and couldn’t sleep until my will to stay awake eventually gave out. The next morning, she was still there. She was pretty friendly, and when I brought up the events of the previous night, she just gave a little smirk, flicked her wrist, and said, “Forget it.”
Now she wants to visit my country and I take her in, and I was wondering if that's enough merit to not proceed as friends.

May faint na ilaw ang signal light pag naka idle kahit naka patay. May possibility po kaya na grounded yung wirings ng motor ko? Kahapon din, na low battery na siya. Hindi na kaya ipush start. Ngayon pina charge ko yung battery, okay naman at umandar, pero pag naka on yung headlight ko, parang nag ffluctuate din yung ilaw pag naka idle. Liliwanag pag ni rev.
Nag ffluctuate din yung volt readings kahit naka idle, from 10.5v - 14.6v
OD Gel yung battery (5 months pa lang). Ano po kaya mga dapat ko ipa check? Ang hirap matikiran pag hindi marunong mag kadyot.
Feeling ko din palitin na yung battery kasi bago ko ipa charge, bumabagsak siya ng 8.0v pag inisstart.
