2024.11.25 10:55 Asuramaru_Tsepeshi Does this sound like POTS?
When I’m laying down my heart rate is pretty normal, from 80-100 but when I stand up and/or move it jumps up to 130s-150s and when I walk or go up one flight of stairs it goes up to the 180s, I get extremely lightheaded and my chest starts to really hurt, especially after just standing up
Does this sound like POTS or something else? (I have a cardiologist appointment soon and not sure what to expect)

2024.11.25 10:55 EnvironmentalFig532 NBA Cup Tiebreakers (during group play)
Hi, feeling confused and wondering if someone has found some more in-depth explanations of how the tiebreakers work during the group play. At the conclusion they make sense, but I can't find enough information to determine how they are ranked during group play. For example, in West Group A, we currently have a three-way tie at 1-1 Clippers Blazers Wolves
-They haven't all played each other so I assume H2H is thrown out (otherwise Portland's 1-0 over Minnesota would trump the Clippers' combined 0-0) -Point differential makes sense for Clippers then being on top -Portland and Minnesota are tied for PD, so we move to Total Points where Minnesota ranks better, but that doesn't reflect in the standings -I then theorised that once the Clippers go on top via the superior PD, we go back to the start of the tiebreaking criteria again, which allows Portland to rank higher than Minnesota through H2H -However, that was scuppered by the fact we had the following three-way tie in West Group C ranked before last Friday's play Dallas (1-1 overall, +38 PD, 1-0 vs NOP, 0-0 vs DEN) Denver (1-1 overall, +5 PD 0-1 vs NOP, 0-0 vs DAL) New Orleans (1-1 overall, -34 PD, 1-0 vs DEN, 0-1 vs DAL)
Using my above theory, we ignore H2H for the trio and move to PD, where Dallas ranks higher. Then we start again and New Orleans should be above Denver based on H2H, but that wasn't the case.
So I am unsure where to go now. Trusting the tiebreakers directly doesn't work for the current Group A scenario. Then eliminating a team and starting again with a two-way tie doesn't work based on last week's Group C example.
Would love some guidance if anyone has some! Thanks

2024.11.25 10:55 Redacted-Writer Just turned 22. My realizations
I just turned 22 today. Hit a milestone in life. I now have at least 3M in my bank account. I am a college dropout and a crypto day trader. Here are my realizations this year:
KEEP ON SAVING - Every time I earn, I would try to save as much as I can. I stick to my budget for monthly expenses (rent, food, utilities, etc.) and not inflate my lifestyle. This way when my monthly earnings becomes higher, my savings gets higher, while not increasing my expenses. Also, living simple helped me save a lot. No healing my inner child. Even if I do not get to spoil myself. It helps me sleep better when I know my savings are growing. This way I also managed to build my emergency funds, when things don't go as I expected. Especially, in crypto where earnings are not guaranteed. I try to take profit as much as possible. I also realized that there's no such thing as too much savings. Even a decent house in Metro Manila would cost me 10M+ which is still a long goal of mine. Especially, when I plan to build a family in the future. That's why I try to save while I am young and have plenty of time. I don't receive any financial support from my parents nor am I a breadwinner. Having no responsibilities to other people, helped me save for myself.
TAKE CARE OF YOUR HEALTH - Crypto day trading is exhausting. I wake up 2 pm, due to my bad sleeping schedule. I would sit in front of my computer until 5 am in the morning. This happened for months. I learned my lesson when I got sick. I missed a week of working. Also, my energy level is always at the low, leading to bad performance. I knew if I didn't change, things would go badly. When I started to live a healthier lifestyle, my overall condition became better. I can focus on working and make better decisions. What's the point of working hard, if you'll harm your health and live shorter? I realized that health is also an investment. You want to live longer as possible. I would rather fix my problems right now than pay hospital bills in the future.
INVEST ON COMFORT - I was staying on a 19sqm condo with my partner. It was very cramp, no room for cooking, and a very small workspace. Once I knew I could afford it and not hurt my savings, I moved to a bigger condo space. Although rent is higher, it comes with conveniences. I can save with food by doing groceries, since there's room to cook and a fridge. Now, meals are healthier since its homemade. Also, a bigger workspace. Before, I was only using a MacBook. Now, I have a PC setup with multiple monitors for crypto trading. Having a better quality of life led me to do even better and made my work easier. As much as I do not want to inflate my lifestyle, being frugal in excess is bad. I try to make everything balanced as much as possible. Not overspending while not neglecting important aspects in life.
EXPLORE THINGS - Do not be afraid to try things. I realized that I am young so I can afford to take risks. My first year in Crypto was barely profitable. I made a lot of mistakes since I was getting a feel of things. There are bad months, and I made some mistakes but it is natural. My second and third year has shown great success. I consistently make 6 digits a month. It was not easy, but focus and consistent effort helped me. I will not deny, luck has played a role. But this can be applied on anything in general. I even made my first 100k during 2019 from a video game. Which I didn't expect that time. By exploring things it led me to opportunities which also led me to learn new things. While, my partner took the risk of job hopping every few months. Which led her to a better company and salary. Now I always remind myself that opportunity is everywhere. But you have to look for it.
I wished myself, my family, partner, and friends for success, good health, and happiness in life during my birthday. Looking forward to adulting as a 22 years old.

2024.11.25 10:55 fut4nar1 First World Dank Speculation
You'll be able to climb into the inner room vent, and you'll actually have to ferry each bag into a one way drop at the end of the vent tunnel (sus, I say!), as an homage to the vent loot drop location in 2, and whatever the fuckembuckems PD:TH heisters had to do (press F to gay respects idk).
Maybe there'll be some sort of trade offs to using this method of bag transport, the obvious one being that you have to mask up (think Touch the Sky). Maybe it doesn't take you straight to the garbage truck. Maybe there could be something you're missing out when taking this route, as opposed to carrying the bags past the guards in what I assume will be a "Secure Area".
All I can say is, I really hope they keep the part where you wait years for the inside man (umm, bain, she's actually a woman) to open the moooootherfucking door to the staircase (dozer should still be there in stealth).

2024.11.25 10:55 ToughAuthorityBeast1 Spot RIGHT on! If the rumor was about say Hillary Clinton or Mitt Romney, nobody would believe it, but, this is J.D Vance we're talking about here.

2024.11.25 10:55 Mustard_The_Colonel Today's news on Spiking becoming seperate crime in the UK
I think it's good idea, that this becomes seperate category just like sexual assult is seperate category from assault.
However as always male victims are ignore. According to UK government own statistics crime has ratio of 2:1 women vs men. According to drink aware stats are closer to 55:45%. By constantly acting like this crime doesn't happen to men it makes young men more at risk because they are less likely to pay attention or even be aware they can be victims.
In addition more support would be easily gained by talking about victims rather than female victims because universally everyone agrees this is bad and should be stopped so why ignore anywhere between 33-45% of all victims.
When we talk about homelessness we never say we need to protect men homeless just because they make up 80% of all homeless
