Bonjour les bricoleurs,
J'ai pour projet de remplacer une vieille porte d'entrée en bois par une porte-fenêtre PVC. La porte en question est à l'étage et donne directement sur la trémie de mon nouvel escalier d'un côté et sur un petit balcon inaccessible de l'autre, donc elle n'est plus utilisée du tout (Vous voyez la porte au plafond dans Asterix mission Cléopatre ? C'est exactement ça !). je cherche donc la porte-fenêtre la plus basique possible, je veux juste améliorer l'isolation thermique par rapport à ma vieille porte en bois qui laisse passer le vent.
La pose se fera en rénovation directement sur l'ancien montant en bois, qui est à peu près affleurant au mur en briques creuses/béton. La maison a 75 ans (et la porte en bois aussi) donc ni le mur ni le cadre de porte ne sont à l'équerre, mais rien de catastrophique c'est léger, j'ai cru comprendre que c'était rattrapable à la pose avec du joint expansif.
J'ai pris les mesures intérieures en suivant les guides et recommandations et avec un peu de marge l'ouverture fait 218cm x 88cm. En faisant faire ma porte-fenêtre sur-mesure j'en ai pour 500~600€ et 8 semaines de délai de livraison. Or je vois que chez Lapeyre il existe une porte-fenêtre de série qui fait 216,8 x 87 cm avec livraison en 2 semaines pour 230€, soit environ 1cm de moins en hauteur et en largeur que mon ouverture.
Mes questions sont donc :
- C'est dur à poser soi-même une porte-fenêtre PVC ? (pour un bricoleur disons de niveau intermédiaire)
- Est-ce que c'est grave au niveau des dimensions d'avoir 1-2cm de moins ou ça peut se rattraper avec du joint expansif type mousse précomprimée ?
- La porte fenêtre de série est vendue sans les ailes de recouvrement, c'est grave ou ça fait le taff quand même ?

Llevaba sin ir desde hace casi 7 años. No asilo. Entré con F1 y aplique por el TPS. Tengo doble nacionalidad (colombiana y venezolana) Ya había viajado con mi permiso de viaje a Cartagena para renovar el pasaporte y en cuanto me llegó, decidí viajar a Caracas a visitar a mi familia (de sorpresa lol)
IDA
Viajé desde JFK Nueva York a Medellín por Avianca y de Medellín a Caracas por Wingo.
Cuando sales de Estados Unidos no hay problema. En Medellín hice la fila de migración. Fue bastante rápido. Les comenté que solo iba a hacer escala allí por unas 5 horas. Siempre presentando mi pasaporte colombiano.
Al trasladar mi maleta a Wingo, pasé nuevamente por migración Colombia, me sellaron el pasaporte colombiano y ya iba de camino a Caracas. Solo me preguntaron dónde residía y el motivo de mi viaje.
En Caracas pasé por migración solo me preguntaron de dónde venia y me pararon un segundo para revisar mi maleta, pero todo bien. Nota: si tenía los nervios a mil, llegué en la noche y como siempre, hay guardias nacionales everywhere.
TIPS PARA VENEZUELA:
Todo está dolarizado. Usen Yummy o Ridery, funciona casi como Uber. Usé mis tarjetas de crédito de Capital One y Bank of America en casi todos lados y funcionó de maravilla. Solo entiendan que están pagando, o mejor dicho, cómo funciona el dinero en Venezuela para que no los roben. Lleven poco cash y singles. Me sentí más seguro que nunca en Caracas. Ves a casi todos con los teléfonos afuera. Solo pendientes con los policías, a mi me tracaquearon el primer día en vía a Caracas. Historia en los comentarios. Todo está abastecido, ves negocios en todos lados. La gastronomía es algo inigualable.
VUELTA
Lleguen a Maiquetía 4 horas antes, yo llegué 3 y estuve justo a tiempo, no me dió tiempo de comprar nada en el aeropuerto. Hubo como 4 guardias que revisaron mi pasaporte en distintas partes del aeropuerto. Como estaba con los dos pasaporte no me preguntaron cuánto tiempo estaría en Colombia. Hubo fila en todos lados, filas lentas, pero sin inconvenientes.
Wingo salió puntual a Medellín. Escala de 12 horas así que aproveché para pasear por la ciudad.
En el checkin de Avianca 3 horas antes. Estuve 15 minutos esperando a que revisaran los documentos y otros 10 min esperando a recibir confirmación de CBP.
En Migración Colombia pasé rápido, solo me pidieron TPS y permiso de viaje.
Cuando llegué al JFK, como de rutina, me tomaron una foto, huellas y me llevaron a la “salita”. Chequearon mis documentos y me sellaron tanto el pasaporte nuevo como el permiso de viaje por TPS. Proceso en fila 15min + solita 5min
Espero que sea de su ayuda.
Y si me preguntan por qué viajé a Venezuela, que si estoy loco, pues loco me parecería tener la oportunidad de volver a ver a mi familia y no hacerlo

Hey everyone
Just bought a house and will basically be starting from scratch on furnishing the home.
We are trying to arrange our living space that starts with the front entry that isn't really separated from the living /family room area(as soon as you enter your immediate left is the living space) and the living space is combines with a formal dining area.
We want to arrange our sectional to be facing the far left wall where we ill have a console and tv. Any other ideas?
Also looking for ideas on what to do with this long wall you see as soon as you enter the front door (art? Long narrow table?l
Atm we are painting the interior white and will be replacing the pendant lights.
