Hey guys, those of you who have played a bit farther into the game I wanted to ask you if during the main quest, (or side questing - but I havent done more than 2 of those), if you happened to find a good weapon or attachment or some other nice loot laying around? I dont want to miss anything... I just helped Ward attack the warehouse with the bandits. So I dont think im very far into the game. I did get a pistol suppressor in one of the first quests, and I think I found armor in the bunker of the sphere, but am I missing anything? I really want to get a nice scope weapon

Had to make another post because i woke up feeling sad and nauseous yet again
I understand that her and i weren’t meant to be because the person for me wouldn’t want to leave. We would have figured things out. She would have been sure about me. She wouldn’t have entertained someone else, kissed them back then got together with them within the space of a few weeks after things ended.
Sure, people change their minds and do what’s best for them. But being on the other side of that hurts so much. It’s like I never even mattered because she switched up so quick. It felt like the months that we spent getting closer and building something were all for nothing. I was so looking forward to the future and i was going to give it my all. It just sucks because she seemed excited for the future too and wanted to nurture our bond.
I need to stop overthinking and overanalysing everything for my own sanity so any advice on this would be greatly appreciated. Feel free to message me also if that’s easier. Thanks :’)

Background:
The Furies: In my world, there are six evil rulers of the lands called the Furies. They took control a few thousand years ago after the evil gods defeated the good gods, though both sides ultimately perished. It’s well established that the Furies are evil but lawful rulers—they don’t promote suffering, but they definitely don’t help humankind. Each player has some sort of pain related to the Furies in their backstory.
The Phoenix: The players have freed a phoenix from its egg. They learned that the phoenix fought in the gods' war against the Furies and that it's nearly as strong as one Fury on its own.
The "Undone" (BBEG): This being was responsible for the evil gods' victory over the good gods. He fell into a thousand-year slumber and has just awakened. He has the power to end the world, and both the players and the Furies are aware of this threat. He currently is fighting against the Giants, the only definitely good force left in the world.
Current Events: One of the Furies requested a meeting with the players and met them in an old remote observatory. The Fury told them that, in reality, the evil gods weren’t actually that evil—the good gods betrayed the evil gods, and now the Furies and heroes have to unite in order to defeat the Undone. None of the players noticed if Fury was lying (she wasn't), and most of them think they should accept the offer since she made many valid points.
The Fury told them where to go to find more answers and was about to leave when the Phoenix arrived, throwing a giant fireball at the Fury—just as I ended the session.
Future: Now, the players started discussing right after the session whether they should help the Fury or the Phoenix in the coming fight. This might be their only chance to take down a Fury since they are godlike in power, but if the Fury is right and combining their powers (and influence) is the only chance to defeat the Undone, they might not stand a chance against him without the Fury.
This split in opinions might lead to a split in the party, with some players supporting the Fury and others supporting the Phoenix in the upcoming fight. This could even lead to a split campaign where one part of the party fights against the Undone alongside the Furies, while the other part fights on its own terms. I’m not sure if this would be a good idea, but there are two other players who might be interested in joining the campaign, and if we split the current 7-player party, that would allow for it since 9 players would be too much for me.
Has anyone been in a situation like this? Does anyone have ideas for planning the fight and possible PvP/party split?

I have twin brothers, both 18 years old, who have been fighting constantly for the past five years. One of them, I will call him Benjamin, has mental disabilities, while the other, I will call him Anthony, is completely healthy.
The trouble started five years ago when Anthony began insulting and bullying Benjamin because of his disability. Our parents are very busy running their own company, so they’re rarely at home. This left me, as the oldest sibling (six years older than them), to step in and take charge. I tried to punish whoever was being mean, but most of the time, it was Anthony targeting Benjamin.
Despite all my efforts to protect Benjamin and stop Anthony’s behavior, it didn’t work. The bullying continued for years, and it deeply hurt Benjamin’s fragile mental health. I feel very guilty about how bad things have become. For five years, until about 6 months ago, Anthony kept mocking Benjamin, and it broke him. I tried my best, but I couldn’t always be there, I had school, I was studying, and I had my own life to manage. I can’t imagine what Anthony may have done when no one else was around to stop him.
Over the past six months, the situation has completely shifted. Benjamin, now bigger (because of his disabilities) and stronger than Anthony, who is still very thin, is taking revenge. He has turned extremely violent, frequently beating Anthony, slapping, and punching him. Anthony doesn’t fight back because he knows he’s weaker now. Since our parents are always absent, I’m still the one left to manage their behavior. I’m not exaggerating when I say that Benjamin has become even more violent than Anthony ever was. He’s also extremely clumsy and doesn’t control his strength, making him a genuine danger. I have my own life and often leave the house, but I’ve noticed that Anthony is now covered in bruises and scratches.
And if you think it ended there, you’d be completely mistaken. What makes me want to share this is the fact that Benjamin s3xually assaulted Anthony. Yesterday, I was in my room, keeping an eye on theirs since their door was open. From my angle, I could only see their feet, which were easy to identify: Anthony always wears high white socks, while Benjamin’s are dark blue or black. I saw the legs in white socks going back and forth, while the dark blue socks were on top of the white socks trying to block them up. I could hear Anthony crying for help. I went into their room to investigate, to find Anthony getting s3xually abus3d by his brother. I’m not gonna go into details but they were not n4ked and Benjamin probably did that to humiliate Anthony, not s3xual purpose. It happened just yesterday, I’m speechless. I don’t know what to do. And to make things clear, no I am not trolling.

Try disabling HAGS. This will disable FG however, so be advised.
I've spent the last 6h checking various vsync, gsync, different frame limiters, second sceen on off, undervolt off on, underclock on both CPU and GPU... All the while spinning in place and enduring shader comp each reset... I even tried the Silent Hill 2 remake "fix" from DF video, -UseFixTimeStep but at 30fps i could not spot the difference.
I have a locked 60fps with rock solid frametime most of the time (except towns naturally and as long as "A Life" doesn't spawn 6 bandits behind my back) and the occasional stutter, since it is, after all, UE5. However it wasn't smooth despite all the graphs showing that it should be. I could see frames on the screen holding up for a few miliseconds too long, especially jarring with the amount of trees on bright sky's background. I've found a place where fps wouldn't budge from 60. During the "spin in place using a controller for a smooth motion" test i could see stuttering despite FPS and frametime display not moving. Disabling HAGS resolved the issue.
Sadly i spend my money on the computer instead of my phone, so i can't even record the phenomenon properly.
This is not a post against HAGS. It just happened to help with the issue on my config. Worth a shot, if you're out of options.

With the upcoming DKC RETURNS HD release I was wondering:
Back in the June Direct, when they started showing some Donkey Kong material, my excitement dropped from incredibly happy to slightly disappointed when I realised, it was a remake of RETURNS they were announcing.
I was genuinely hoping for a HD Remaster of the original trilogy. I don’t know why, but in my eyes this would have been the better choice regarding a millennial audience hungry for childhood nostalgia.
Of course, RETURNS is a great game. But still. It feels so pointless to re-release one more time.
Anyone else with the same thoughts?

left my job last month due to it having terrible effects on my mental health. went on holiday (it was prepaid before i left my job), came back, suffered and currently recovering from a health complication. £300 to my name, no job.
my last paycheque i was due to receive today was a grand total of my salary - deductions = £0. i have a meeting with universal credit today. i’ve been applying for jobs but the thought of going back into a job that i don’t like is making my mental health worse.
i have no qualifications other than my gcses. i can’t afford education. i can’t afford to learn how to drive. i have no idea how im supposed to get out of this situation. i’m 23 and i’ve trapped myself.
