I returned from Japan to Canada (3.5 week long trip and 16 hr time difference) on Saturday night. I didn’t sleep much on the flights and it was almost 24 hours from getting to Haneda airport to getting home. It was 9pm Saturday night when I got home and I was extremely exhausted - I fell asleep quickly but woke up at 2 am and couldn’t sleep again.
all of Sunday I forced myself to stay awake, got bright light and coffee when during daytime. Was active and unpacked my stuff, did some laundry etc. i got sleepy at 10:30 pm but woke up at 2 am again, and now am feeling very anxious and can’t sleep. It doesn‘t help that I have to be up at 6 am for work.
I had major jet lag and anxiety the first week I was in Japan too, and was running on about 4 hrs sleep for the first week.
can someone please provide any tips - even if I force myself to stay up it seems my body cannot sleep at night when I should be sleeping anyways because of anxiety or just extreme jet lag.

I [22M] have been with a girl [19F] for a little more than 9 months now. And as I say doing nothing the previous weekend, I examined our bond in retrospect:
- We've seen each other for 4-5 times in these 9 months, in which some were just meeting up, in some we walked together and sat and talk, and in the recent one we had some food. It was I who mostly initiated the plans to meet, which had to be modified for her convenience ( she is a college-going student, and I understand that she has classes and work, but in the free time, she doesn't really want to check out new places or engage in something new, not necessarily getting physical but new places, new activities etc. JUST YET )
- Prior to meeting her, she had a devastating friendship break-up, due to which she says she needs time to trust me before we take it further. I am left mostly confused about this, as I don't seem to see any actions or efforts from her side to forge that trust. In the matters of talking, we do talk mostly online on text. We used to have calls for some time, but they have stopped too. On top of that, I still don't have her number ( we talk through other apps ) because she says it is distracting to have WhatsApp.
- Recently, she went on a social media hiatus because of exam preparation, which I wholly understand. She has done it before, and we got through it with leaving messages to each other every now and then, keeping them long but enough to get things across. But this one just had me blank. I just wished her well and logged out of the app. Moreover, in her recent message, she told me that she went to a concert with her girl friends. I was blank before knowing this, and somehow blank after.
- I like her. She likes me too. We share poetry with each other, talk about everyday stuff, profess our attraction to each other in different words. But not labeling us while also conveying a wish to get together, it all feels a bit one-sided. I brought up a similar feeling of not feeling reciprocated, and I was made to understand that it is not possible for her to trust me for stuff yet.

Im trying to send CameraImage from flutter to c++ to process the frames with opencv then convert each frame to bmp then send them back to flutter to display the camera feed, The problem im having is that the frames are rotated 90 degrees, in grayscale and with a green lined bar as you can see here : image

My nephew is over 18 months old and absolutely adorable. However, I’ve noticed some behaviors that seem to align with signs of autism:
- He has limited to no eye contact.
- He doesn’t respond to his name, even when we call him loudly. I think he hears us, but it seems like he either doesn’t want to respond or doesn’t know how. However, if I play his favorite show (pawpatrol) on the lowest volume, he immediately notices and rushes to the TV to watch.
- He prefers playing with plastic or metalic object like a spoon, or plastic wrappers. He is not interested in traditional toys like cars or trucks. He often bangs or taps objects together, seeming to enjoy the sound it makes. I also noticed him scratching his nails to the wall. Its not pleasing to our ears but he seems to enjoy it.
- He isn’t pointing yet, and when we point to things, his eyes tend to wander elsewhere.
- Lately, he has started looking up and then bending over, which seems potentially dangerous. Thankfully, our floor is fully carpeted.
- He’s very calm and rarely cries.
- Mealtimes are challenging for his parents because he only likes one type of food.
- I noticed today that he was walking on his tiptoes. Initially, I thought he was just moving quickly, but when I showed him my phone, he walked toward me on his toes. I never thought that he would develop this.
- He isn’t babbling or saying any words yet.
- The most distinct behavior I’ve noticed is how he plays with his fingers. He often crosses them, particularly keeping his thumb and middle finger fixed together.
I’m unsure whether I should bring this up to his mom (my sister-in-law) since I’m sure she’s noticed these things too. I just want to approach the topic in a way that’s supportive and non-offensive, offering my help to get her son evaluated for early intervention if needed.

hello, I have a ThinkPad Yoga 370, with an i5-7300u CPU, im currently running windows 10, which is fine, but sometimes it feels a little slow. I plan to keep this laptop for a longer time since I love how practical it is, also the touch screen and pen are really helpful for school. Im curious if anyone knows an alternative OS for it that supports touchscreen too. I saw lightweight windows versions like atlas, etc.. however im also willing to try linux versions with touch screen support, any OS that is lighter than stock windows 10 basically. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
