So I (26F) am a second psychological science (the name of my program) bachelor's student in an Italian university. I was previously studying in a clinical psychology program (2.5 out of 5.5 years finished) in Russia which I left because of the war.
I've been doing psychoanalysis as a patient for 9 years now, and I want to be a psychodynamically oriented therapist as well and am planning to do a clinical psychology master's, so some of the worries I have:

  1. How realistic is it to get into the grad school in Europe with no gap year? I've not done my thesis yet of course and I have zero experience, but I try to have a good GPA (3.6 out of 4 rn I think) and I am currently asking for internships at the university labs. How much experience should I have and what are my other options, like volunteer work? If so then what kind of volunteer work?
  2. Does PhD after bachelor's exist in Europe? If so, how difficult is it to get one and is it possible to become a clinical psychologist that way? I know it's not the perfect rout and I don't exactly need it, but I still wonder because I might be considering science/teaching
  3. Just from an emotional standpoint — I'd love to hear from some older students, because potentially graduating from grad school after 30 is scary. I don't have another career, and even though my life overall is good and I am very lucky in other ways, I still feel like I am missing out. Also blending in with teens just out of highschool with little therapy/university/migration experience feels lonely sometimes.

In the Sneak Peak videos, it was said that the level of the new hero assigned to players would depend on the level of TH. For TH16, the sneak peak mentioned Minion Prince level 70. However, I've only gotten level 60 MP despite being a TH16. Any possible explanation?

2024.11.25 11:50 RelevantEvil Miranda Bailey went from my favourite to least favourite character

For context I watched this show on Channel 5 in the UK from season 1 as it was airing when I was a teenager.
Every Thursday night was Greys Night (double episodes). Watching it then Bailey was my favourite I loved her strength, power but ultimately warm heart. She was tough on her people but it came from a place of love.
I watched religiously until s12 and then just stopped. For years. Now it’s on s21 and I have taken the last few months (due to my own medical issue) to catch up. I’m on s18 now. And I can’t believe I ever liked Miranda. She is intolerable. I see in her a lot of the traits of toxic bosses I had in the past. I just watched the epi of Levi’s patient dying because of his actions. Both him and Helm were clearly emotionally devastated by this (Levi scrubbed the skin from his arms) and she does nothing to check in on the wellbeing of her staff other than ‘happens to all of us’. I wish this was the only example but there are countless throughout the seasons. She is conceited, holds grudges and stubborn to the point of toxicity.
I miss s1-8 Miranda who was tough when needed but was a support system also.
Conversely I used to hate Richard but re-watching with an adult lense has really endeared him to me. He makes mistakes but he is a constant source of emotional support for everyone. A calm guardian who doesn’t always say the right thing the first time, but always does the right thing ultimately.
