2024.11.25 12:49 curtneedsaride Resi (LivingAs1) Decoder snapping to cues on its own?
We currently run two of Resi’s older decoders (labeled as LivingAs1) at our video campus of our church. We restart them regularly to keep the cache down and keep them running smooth. We’ve had some issues in the past with it stuttering or buffering, which have usually been resolved with restarting it.
However, yesterday, after it had been playing for almost 5 hours (like every Sunday), it snapped to the cue at the beginning of our sermon bumper by itself. No one in the control room was anywhere near the keyboard or mouse, no one had it up on any other work station that we know of either FOH or video control, and we can’t figure out what happened.
I called support and they just show that the decoder registered a go-to cue command at the specific time that it happened … except no one executed that command that we know of.
Anyone else have anything like that happened to a Resi (or LivingAs1) decoder while playing?

Hello, my Balkan friends. I recently heard that controversial and mostly unknown presidential candidate Calin Georgescu has surpassed the current Prime Minister of Romania Marcel Ciolacu in the first round of presidential elections. He allegedly spoke favorably about Antonescu and Corneliu Zelea Codreanu which sparked controversy, so I want to ask a question - do modern Romanians even know who Codreanu is? Is he important at all to Romania's collective memory and contemporary politics? From what I know he is quite recognizable here in Poland (at least in some circles) and lives rent free in heads of many nationalists and other far-right (or maybe alternative right) adherents. Even many of his texts were translated to Polish and became lectures in a few nationalist organizations like All-Polish Youth (mostly because his blend of christian mysticism, nationalism and folk tradition is deemed quite attractive). Is he similarly relevant in the country of origin?

My great grandfather came to city in early 1900s and started working as caretaker for bungalow and was told to build a small house in the compound. He worked all his life and then my grandfather and grandmother also worked for the owners till they retired. After toiling hard with lots of physical work including house help and gardening and everything, nobody gave any kind of bonus or pension to my great grandfather or my grandfather or my grandmother. My father’s generation and my generation was raised there in that house itself.
As we have stayed in that property for 90 years as a family. Now the owners want to get rid of us with compensation close to nothing. I want to understand what rights my grandmother (grandfather and great grandfather passed away ) would have to the said property. Grandmother has all the proofs and documents.
Property is in metro city in very posh area. The house that we stayed in for so many years is around 650 square feet . How much should my grandmother settle for ?
