Sorry for the long post. I'm sad and also venting a little bit. I also needed to provide some backstory.
I have a cute feral that we've been caring for for the last two years. However, we cannot touch him or hold him. Nor will he eat food unless we close the back door and he feels safe.
He has a heated house outside where he spends the night. It took him over a year to get used to the heated house.
We tried to TNR him, and we talked to a couple of vets about it. The consensus was, "He's too old to be tamed. If you cannot even pet him, how do you expect to care for him or expect us to touch him? For this one, you need to let him be". So, we let him be and tried our best. Even though we're experienced with strays, we seek guidance from local committees and neighbors for this feral.
There is another larger and more aggressive feral cat in the neighborhood, and he's been beating up my cat since forever. So much so that he has a constant scar larger than a quarter. When we think he's healed, he comes back with another wound at the exact location (front left knee). That's how we started to take care of him.
My feral's nature is very docile. He's scared of anything and everything and is not aggressive unless you approach him. The most he does is hiss a little. He's avoidant as much as a feral cat can be. He'd have made a very peaceful cat if he weren't born and raised a feral.
The other cat's been away for a while. We thought he might have passed away, and frankly, we were at peace for a while. For the last week, he reappeared. I believe he's looking for more food with winter coming. We don't leave food outside, but recently, when we took the food in, mice started to enter the house to eat cat food. We also try not to leave it out because of the raccoons, skunks, opossums, and, most importantly, the other cat.
Our cat is too scared to eat his food in one sitting. He takes a couple of bites, runs away on hearing a leaf cracking, comes back 10 minutes later, takes another bite, and so on. It takes him 1-2 hours to finish his whole meal. And the other cat is surveilling the food and his absence. I'm chasing him away from the food.
Yesterday night, they had a big fight and my cat's been too traumatized to come back.
I guess my question is, how do I help my feral?

Ok maybe this is me showing my lack of knowledge on subs, but I was just in the Mentalist sub and we can post add on images from the show in replies to share videos/pics/gifs etc easily which makes interactions a lot more fun. Like if anyone talked about a funny Hotch scene and we can reply with screencaps that add to it in comments.

I am a senior in HS I really want to be an Industrial or Product Designer in the future. UX Design also seems nice but ID and PD interest me more.
I’ve gotten offers from colleges that don’t have either PD or ID, but have UX/UI and Graphic Design, Applied Engineering, MergingMedia Degrees, Mechanical Engineering Tech, etc. I’m not a math person so I couldn’t do Mechanical Engineering.
I will be graduating with my associates summer of 2025 due to all the College Credits I’ve done in Highschool.
At certain schools with certain degrees, I can get my bachelors in two years. I don’t know if this includes a school with ID (probably not)
I was wondering: What is the best route?
Should I get my bachelors in either Applied Engineering, Graphic Design, Merging Media, or UX/UI and get a Masters in Industrial Design?
Or should I just go 4 years for Industrial/Product?
Advice and honest feedback would be very appreciated 😭

Hey there! I'm 27 and I'm living it up in Finland. I'm 183cm currently at 83kg (working on getting ripped again), straight blonde hair, if it matters.
I crunch code for a living and like to hit the gym after that to forget about the whole day of just sitting on my ass.
Summer's great here but winter's another story, so my eyes are set on warmer places during those cold months. Canaries, anyone?
When I'm not being a tech wizard, I enjoy chillin' while listening to podcasts (Lex Fridman is the G.O.A.T.), sunbathing, cycling, working out, plus watching TV series/movies. Also, I do enjoy the occasional gaming session (I used to play a ton, not so much these days; maybe I'd play more with a player 2?).
Personality-wise, I'm a bit of a paradox. I'm pretty outgoing when I'm in the mood, but I also have my introverted moments.
Health, fitness, and self-improvement are kinda my thing. How can you love someone if you can't love yourself, right?
I don't mind long-distance relationships as long as you're willing to meet at some point. But what am I looking for? Someone with a similar vision, maybe with a job that can be done remotely (or aspiring for it) and/or with a flexible schedule (extra points if you're self-employed!).
Some deal-breakers for me are people who smoke, not taking care of yourself (now and forever). But, a tech interest? That's a definite yes, lol. And artists with a free spirit, I find we usually vibe pretty well. Age preference would be within the 20-36 range.
I'm a bit eccentric, and I'm super competitive. But I've got your back if you're important to me :)

I usually go with just one friend but I want to get tickets for family this year since they are interested. Not sure exactly who will be available and when, so my plan is to get 4 tickets for each day and give to whoever wants to come with me. Would it be better to get 2-day passes or to get all individual passes for each day? I will be going either way, so whoever comes with me will be under my name and my tickets I'm thinking. Would that matter? It doesn't seem like the prices are much different so I may go for single passes to be safe. Curious to hear what others have done in the past for the most flexibility.
