 | Hello, I am super new to all of this. I thought I was getting the hang of it then the weather changed I had them in bright, direct sunlight (as the little tag and online says) but then they started to burn so I put them in a shady area - you can the the burnt leaves The pitches never really got any bigger than what was shown, plus I HAD to water the pitchers every day. Even now that it’s cooled, I add some water to the pitchers then the next day they’re bone dry I check the water levels in the soil cause I know they like moist soil, so I don’t think that’s a contributing factor. Plus, where I have them is like mosquito city (why I wanted a carnivorous plant) I thought they went dormant, per my research, but discovered from here and other sites that THIS particular one doesn’t do that. I don’t have the setup to bring them in for the winter so I’ve kinda already accepted they won’t make it My questions - if they need direct sunlight, why did they burn? Why are the pitchers empty almost daily? What kind of carnivorous plant (not Venus) can I get that goes dormant in the winter? I live in TX and our weather is very unpredictable. For example, today ranges from 60-40, summer is triple digits Also, if there are any good resources so I can read and prep for spring, please link them. I took my 2010 Camry in (120K miles) because I was experiencing a rough idle. I paid $200 for the diagnostic, and they diagnosed it as bad engine mounts. I proceeded with the $1400 quoted repair and they replaced the mounts. Unfortunately, the vibrations are still there.
This is a local shop I have used before and generally trust. Would it be unreasonable of me to bring it back in and ask them to do another diagnostic free of charge?

2024.11.25 14:40 Crumpledflowers My chronic illness really has me feeling like a fool
I just wanted to ask. Have any of you guys had an illness or chronic illness flareup that lasted 5+ yrs? How did you get your life back on track after so many yrs of disruption? I was in a trance of pain, mental anguish, and straight up brain fog for 6yrs 2019-2024 because of the wrong medication. I graduated college in 2019(i'm 27) and now after three months off that prescription, I am finally of sound enough mind. I've even start applying to jobs and am trying to figure this thing out.
My issue starts with my feelings of inadequacy though, and when trying to apply for a job I don't have a very colorful work history, or college history. Anybody out there get where i'm coming from if so? 😔

Hi everyone,
I am only one week AF and have appreciated reading posts here. My question is, does anyone have a success stories of quitting moderate or heavy drinking they can share? My anxiety and depression have been worse lately and before I started a new RX I decided I need to stop the 20 or so drinks I have a week. I had hangovers and would black out once or twice a year, but it mostly was just a consistent drinking lifestyle. I probably had 2 a night or 3 on weekdays and then maybe 5 on a Friday and Saturday, with a day or two off sprinkled in. I wasn't out of control and was functioning at work. Does anyone have a similar experience they can share?
