I hope I don’t offend anyone, especially piercers, but I wanted to share an experience I had today that made me (neurodivergent person) panic and exit.
I had an appt booked for a piercing, and it was not my usual shop. They had all the jewellery on display, which in a way was great, but I had to ask about 5 times about the price of individual pieces and it was all out of my budget. They said I could have a basic titanium piece but when I asked how much they were they said “it varies” and pointed me to the cabinet with the basic jewellery.
There was no displayed pricing there either, so I just ended up getting too panicky and left, losing my deposit for the appt. That was my choice to make and I don’t blame the piercing shop; this is not a criticism of them as I know I’m probably the outlier.
I went on a google mission afterwards, to look at pricing of piercing jewellery and there’s very little transparency here. So I’d have to look at the wholesaler website, for stuff I liked, then find a stockist, and ask how much it cost… I just don’t have the spoons for that.
Am I naive? Is it too much to expect price labels? Or at least groupings? I know I could just ask “what have you got for £X” but again it’s the spoons aspect, and also the guilt if I asked them to show me everything under £X but then I don’t like any of it and I have wasted there time.

You run from any actual effort because all you care about is people looking at you, thinking you're pretty, thinking you have it all together. All you do is spread your legs and say what people wanna hear so they'll stick around. I see you doing the same things to him as you did to me.I could have been your forever, but you couldn't wait to jump on someone else's lap. Someone who doesn't see you yet. What I hate most about all you've done to me? I still love you. I'm hard pressed to say I wouldn't take you back if you asked me. I KNOW BETTER! And it makes me feel pathetic that you still have such a hold on my heart. I feel stupid for not having seen you sooner. Maybe I'd still have some shred of myself left. Fuck you. I gave you everything I had...

TLDR: Hard working guy, procrastinating these days. How do I make myself disciplined without need of an external disciplinary force?
A little about me. I'm a fighter. I believe in working hard. I don't give up easily. I'm one of the most competitive people you would meet.
I come from a very humble background. I used to had to earn my own fee to study. Right now, I'm doing my masters. It's from a good college , one which is quite difficult to get into.
Now, I have achieved all the objectives that the 19 year old me wanted to achieve. There's nothing much to do in life. But also there's a lot.
Let me put it this way. I had no other option but to work hard to survive. Now that's no longer the case. I can be average and I'll still end up in a good place.
This is exactly what's hurting me. I have not been productive this month at all. (Was somewhat productive in the first week only)
There's a lot I can do. There's a lot I can learn. There's a lot I want to learn. But there's no hurry, there's no pressure, and I just seem to use that as an excuse to procrastinate. I don't like this about myself. How do I change that.
If I were to ask in one sentence, How do I make myself disciplined without need of an external disciplinary force?

I'm a 53 year old - soon to be divorced woman living on Long Island in New York I am an empty nester - kids all out of the houseUnfortunately, I have ALS Fortunately, the ALS that I have is very slow progression I have friends and family on Long Island but it feels like everyone's life is continuing and mine is just at a standstill I have become very lonely and really would love to go to a new town/community to start over I have never lived anywhere besides Long Island I know the grass is not always greener But I feel like I don't even have grass lolI have been doing so much research and it's so confusing. One site says this is the base place and then another site will say this is the worst place to live 55+ communities vary so much. I don't wanna go somewhere where I feel like everyone is still with their spouse or very old. My parents live in a community like this and when I go to the main community house, it's all women playing cards all day long. They look like they're having a lot of fun, but that's not what I wanna do every day.
I feel like I'm describing Stars Hollow from Gilmore Girls, which I guess that would be my dream lol
What I'm looking for Small to medium town on the East Coast within one hour to a city (for healthcare) Strong community feeling - Welcoming/easy to make friends Walkable "downtown" Beach town or close to beach
Just as a sidenote, the job market and cost of living of the area that I moved to, is not relevant to my life

As I understand it these feed on e.g flour so i have removed that kind of food from the kitchen like a week ago. These still show up though, close to/under the drawer in the kitchen. do i just need to be patient or is it a more effektive way to Get rid of these? This is in Oslo; Norway.

Chipotle employee here. I get the theory of lock in, but it just seems highly inefficient. Like, if I’m on line and our grill guy needs help, and we’re not particularly busy, I should be able to help him out so that way he’s not swamped with shit when we do get busy.
But no, I gotta stand my dumbass on line so the eye of Sauron doesn’t get pissy and writes our manager up for not having FOUR fucking people on line at all times during lock in.
Meanwhile dml and grill are swamped with shit and have one person on there, and line has like one little ole goober ordering but four people catering to him. Makes no sense man.

 | Hi ! I am in the need of a bit of troubleshooting if you guys have already been in this situation: I installed a MMI Box (idrive NBT entrynav 4). It works great, picture, wireless Android Auto. I use the BMW Bluetooth for everything (Phone+Media) from my phone, the Box is simply doing image stuff at the end. The Box is in car's BT mode. Phone calls works great. BMW Voice assistant properly trigger and register my phone Google Assistant when in "idrive" mode. But when I am in Android Auto, voice commands don't work at all. Nothing is picked, like the Microphone isn't registered at all. It just stays flat. Pretty annoying to deal with address, music picking... As I am in BT mode, it should pick, via my phone, the Mic of the car right ? Or at the very least the Mic of my phone ? Am I missing something? Doesn’t it look more and more likely that their play here all along is to squeeze out as much capital as possible from CTXR to get mini-lok to the market and then simply spin off mino-lok under a new ticker (or even CTOR)..?
The last few weeks have defied all logic, especially if Citius knew or had a feeling that this schedule C would be positive.. if we were at $.55 pre offering and RS announcement, I feel like this news alone could’ve given the ticker a shot at 10 days over $1.00.
Mazur and co have too much skin in the game and are too experienced to be simply walking around like blind mice. They must have a plan… or is that wishful thinking?
