I just reached 17k elo and i've been going up and down 300-370 each time. I understand if the game doesn't think you deserve the rank you lose more and gain less, but I thought this was weird.
- What are your elos and how much does it change each game? - Do you guys have any idea why this is the case?

About actors who consistently pump out multiple films per year (ex. Eric Roberts, Willem Dafoe, Nicolas Cage, ...).
a. Which other actors or actresses are such?
b. Eric Roberts seems to do mostly small parts. But Dafoe and Cage are usually in lead or supporting roles. How do they find the time? When considering prep, travel to location, actual filming and maybe press. Doesn't filming alone usually take 2-3 months for a film on average?
Note: Not sure if 'working actor' can also be the correct term for my question. Perhaps 'working actor' only refers to actors (usually lesser known) that need to take almost any job to stay afloat.

I don't like trading but could never seriously get into SF in poe1 because it was too difficult to acquire specific things. Have devs talked about it? Like, are there better ways to target farm stuff now, like uniques? So far the big positives i've seen are the streamlined crafting and gem systems.

 | Would you say these Kirkland ground beef patties make a good burger? I'm concerned about them being frozen, because I want it to taste good and meat from frozen might change that a little bit. What's your best advice for making these ground beef patties into a stellar burger? For context, I have an eating disorder (ARFID) and burger patties are one of the only things that go over well with me. I've been eating Whataburger patties and I enjoy them, but looking to see if I can replicate them at home (I know they won't be the exact same). Whataburger uses fresh, never frozen patties though so I'm wondering about what it'll be like to go from frozen to grill to burger. Please be kind... 2024.11.25 15:50 ReallyBadWizard I'm hitting analysis paralysis on which headset to upgrade to. From OG Vive to either Quest 3 or Vive Pro 2.
So my current setup is the original Vive headset, base stations 1, and I have the Index controllers which I do like.
I run it all off my PC obviously and use Steam VR. 3080 GPU and ryzen 7700x CPU, so it can handle pretty much whatever I throw at it. But it's also for this reason I still want the strong PCVR performance, as that will probably be my primary use case.
I do like the idea of wireless VR and would probably do that with friends, etc. But if the experience is noticably better (frame rates, fidelity, etc) I'll probably personally use it hard wired every time otherwise I'll feel like I'm missing out on performance for no real reason other than to go wireless, which is great, but the headset i use now I just ran some ceiling hooks and the wires are... Fine. It's tolerable and it's all I know, so maybe once I try wireless I'll never want to go back, but if the cost is frame rate and fidelity it'll bother me most likely.
There's also the controllers, sticking with Vive let's me keep my setup as is and just swap out the headset. Easy. But once read that Quest 3 needs some dongles to get the controllers to work with it. If the quest controllers are good enough I may just use those and sell the Index ones, but I'll have to try and see for myself.
Another big consideration for me is my wife and I often play VR and swap back and forth. For this reason the pancake lenses on the Quest are appealing, as is the auto eye detection thing the new Vive Focus Vision has, but from what I've read you might as well get the Q3 instead. That said, it's not a game breaker if the Pro 2 needs a slight adjustment when we swap.
Basically I'm stuck trying to decide what's going to look and perform the best, I am ready for the screen door to disappear at last, and I want to make sure the hard wired experience is good. I don't think the Wi-Fi one is doable with my current setup as my PC is not hard wired due to distance from the router in the house, I could probably get it wired if I really want to but it would be a hassle.
TL;DR: Coming from OG Vive which headset will have the biggest wow factor, and highest fidelity using my PC?
