I want to work in a field where my face will be visible to the public, and every hiring manager said they wouldnt hire me for such a position because I would repulse clients away.
Now, I am looking for a job or role that it wouldnt be an issue, by the time saving up for surgery. I have tried to ask people online about which surgeries would be helpful, but most people say I should accept myself as I am and move on. I will consult with an actual surgeon once I find some money, but I need a job first

I'm considering investing in EcoPetrol and I saw a commenter post this stat:
Ecopetrol proven reserves: 1.9 billion barrels
Petrobras proven reserves: 10.9 billion barrels.
Ecopetrol breakeven price: $36 per barrel
Petrobras breakeven price: $20 per barrel
My question is, how is it that most years Ecopetrol stays profitable when it costs them 80% more to breakeven? They have been profitable most years and still gain lots of venue, how can petrobas not just lower prices, remain profitable and chase them out? What is keeping Ecopetrol around in this situation?

Good day! What can be wrong when green leaves are fading? I dont see any visible bugs. I live in central europe, during summer the plant was outside, growing new leaves but also throwing them. It was always on direct sun, i was watering it at least once per week, as soil dried fast. As temperatures drops under 10degC i move it inside. Thank you!

I know this sounds sort of ignorant, but put it in perspective, when colonizers first showed up in Canada 200 years ago that's basically what they did, there was trees every where and they turned them into houses, some of which are still standing today.

What is the actual function of the CR Touch? I feel like it doesn't level or compensate for anything at all in my prints, and since I installed it I have more problems than before and I checked and yes, it is correctly installed and in good condition but it still doesn't compensate for the differences in layer height, and waves keep appearing in my prints no matter if I raise or lower the bed or increase or reduce the z offset. What are some SDC microphones that definitely fit directly into the Zoom F3, without any additional cables or adapters?
Looking to have a very portable, lightweight, on-the-go "rig" for recording some sound effects, and want to avoid gambling on a SDC only to find it doesn't quite fit. Which I discovered with the Line Audio CM4, which definitely doesn't fit. (Otherwise I really like it.)

I'm not even sure if this is the right Reddit for this so apologies if not...
I came out as LGBTQ about 5 years ago, going on 6. Republican, black, super religious suburban home etc. And it's been about that long since I've spoken to my parents. My dad and I have somewhat of a relationship but we don't talk about anything but basic stuff(basically all of the politics, we're black and he's MAGA and I'm not soooo yea🙄....and sports stuff he wants to talk about when we catch up for 5 minutes a month) but that's about it. There's no real relationship there.
My mom and I haven't spoken in over 5 years. I've given up on both of them honestly. And at least in my mom's case, I've accepted that she's no longer here on this planet. Not in a morbid way. I just forget sometimes.
I guess my question is: is it fair to my friends? Is it fair that I have friends that have truly lost parents and other family that I still "grieve my parents" as if they died?
It's not like I'm doing it on purpose. It's just the way that I feel about them. They have kind of died in my book lol. It produced massive amounts of sadness until it just...didn't one day. It still makes me sad when I think about it. But it's not like an overwhelming sadness anymore. It's just life... People leave. Even the ones you thought wouldn't
I guess, bonus question: is it okay to think I probably won't feel anything, or too much, when they do pass?
