2024.11.25 15:21 insufficient_funds US Demographics questions - why do they ask for Ethnicity (Hispanic/Latino or not) separate from Race?
Every where I've ever filled out something that asked for demographic info, it will ask for Ethnicity with the options of "Hispanic or Latino" or "Not Hispanic or Latino" and then it will ask Race. The one I'm looking at now has options for American Indian or Alaska Native, Asian (with 6+ sub choices), Black or African American, Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander, or White.
Why do they consider all of these items Race, but Hispanic/Latino just an ethnicity?

2024.11.25 15:21 Winter_Ad_9289 Which direction should I head in terms of audio input/output?
I currently have a JBL Tune 720 BT and it hurts to be in a Discord voice call which causes game audio to sound horrible. So I have 2 options: either get one of those gaming headsets with the mic attached to the headset, or keep my headphones and get a standalone mic.
I don't have a high budget, the Fifine K669B is the highest I will go for a standalone mic. I'm not sure what options there are on the gaming headsets though.
Any advice for me? I would prefer the gaming headset to be honest, so I can keep my JBL Tune 720 BT for when I'm outside. But from what I've seen most gaming headsets have a cable and I'm not sure if I appreciate that. If there are budget, wireless gaming headsets with the mic attached to the headset I would prefer that.
Alternative standalone mics I've found:

- SF666R Microphone

If I want to use the Calendar of a group, which is shared to me, it says the calendar is "NotFound". Maybe it's the format that I'm putting it in? The CalendarID that I'm using is a bunch of random characters plus an equal sign at the end (i.e abcde12345=). I put that without any quotes, but even if I do put quotes it still can't be found. My Xbox One Forza Edition is still alive and kicking, but I've been thinking about upgrading to an Xbox Series X. I still like the option of having physical media, which I know the series X has the capabilities to play. I haven't seen any announcements on a next gen console coming any time soon. Do you think it's worth spending the money and upgrading at this point, especially with holiday sales, or should I keep the 'ol xbox one going?

My DA Ex discarded my 4 months ago. We met two times to exchange things. Both times he didn't give me all of my stuff back and said I would get it later.. I wrote him to give me all of my things back this time so that it is finally over. He didn't react to this. We were together for 3 years and lived together. Can anyone explain this behavior to me? It's a lot easier to close things off if you don't have any of your ex's stuff lying around. I really don't understand any of this. Maybe someone has been in the same situation or has tips on what I should do now or why he behaves this way.
