39F. I had chickenpox when 1, as I have three older siblings who had it and my poor motherā¦what a lot to deal with. š
But I only had 1-2 blisters, so we always wondered if that was enough to not have it later in life.
January 2022, I got shingles. So, answers that! The rash was mild, just a small grouping of blisters barely wrapping around my left torso. Diagnosed by my primary care. I did have some nerve shooting pain but not a lot. Didnāt scratch the rash, and everything resolved pretty quickly.
I saw these two spots (pictured here: https://imgur.com/a/cJbVKYx) on my inner right arm Nov 6 and thought they were incredibly unusual. Both because I never get pimples on my arms (I wasnāt sure what they were, but best guess), and because they were in lineāif I bent my elbow, the point on upper arm and forearm touched.
Last Wednesday I had a 24 hour headache (headaches are rare for me), and experienced some back pain, notably out-of-nowhere electric-sharp pain in the right upper quadrant. I thought it odd, but figured my body didnāt get enough rest, or maybe I did something to upset it (30s have proven my teen-20s age mindset of invincibility to be absolute rubbish; I also have endometriosis but any nerve issues there have been left lower back into lower extremities). I massaged the back as best I could, and stretched. I had work and just popped two Advil and moved on. The next several days brought on back ache, fever 101-102, some chills, loss of appetite, fatigue. This all cleared up in 4 days, but I now have a mild but deep cough (thatās more lung, less throaty). And one of these spots showed up on my inner left arm last night, itchy as heck andā¦thatās when I had the thought this might be shingles. I understand the percentage of those who get it twice is pretty low, but this illness has been so weird and unlike colds Iāve had in the past. No urge to be sick, no nausea, the fatigue lasted no more than 1.5 days despite lingering fever and Iāve otherwise been getting things done around the house, nasal passage clear the entire time, etc.
I donāt have insurance at the moment, starting January. Any insight would be helpful and appreciated!

Hey everyone, Iām having a tough time updating the BIOS on my ASRock AB350 Gaming K4 motherboard. Iām upgrading my CPU from a Ryzen 3 1200 to a Ryzen 5 5600, but my current BIOS version is P4.70, which doesnāt support the new processor. From what Iāve read, I need at least version P7.00 for it to work.
Hereās what Iāve tried so far:
I downloaded the correct BIOS file (P7.00) from ASRockās website and put it on a USB stick formatted as FAT32. I went into the BIOS and used the Instant Flash option, but it keeps saying "No image found." Iāve tried different USB sticks and plugged them into both USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports, but Iām still getting the same error. I also tried using the ASRock Live Update & App Shop tool in Windows, but it didnāt show any available updates for the BIOS. At this point, Iām stuck and unsure what to do.
Iād really appreciate any advice or suggestions. Thanks a lot for your help!

2024.11.25 20:50 confnused Tips/Help regarding Cromite?
I found and added a bunch of rules/lists to cromite's ABP, and I'm getting a 99% on d3wards adblocker test. But when I open a site like a pirated streaming site, any click on the site is redirecting me to an ad page. Meanwhile Arc on android is 6% on d3wards, but that does not redirect and lets me access these sites easily.
Any idea what I am missing or is this just a hard drawback to Cromite? If so, what browsers do you suggest (no firefox please, I've been using it for a while, not a fan of it on android)?

I currently use Fitbod and have for the past four years or so. Fitbod lifetime is now available for a very short window -- probably just today.
I bought my Garmin for Christmas with the hope of migrating fully to the Garmin infrastructure.
Just wondering for those who have used the new Garmin fitness coach if it is likely to be sufficient or am I still going to want to use Fitbod.
My use case: I let Fitbod tell me what to do everyday I go to the gym. (Usually 4 days a week)
I don't think about what my lifting workout needs to be nor adjust my own weights. (It pushes me up weight and kicks me down if it sees I failed at a set.)
