I'm writing a fantasy story about a carver, a taxidermist, and an archeress trying to disband a corrupt group of magicians, eventually seeking the help of the eastern cities beyond King Arlin's control. They each have their own motivations and I've gotten very attached to my characters, but how do I tell if my story has the potential to be "good"? And, if it isn't, how do I improve it?

Hi there! I am an advanced open water diver with approx. 130 dives, mostly in the carribean although I did do my dry suit certification to dive at home (Vancouver, Canada) I am looking to do my dive master certification and am looking to go abroad for this. Right now I am leaning towards Mexico or Utila, Honduras however I did want to post here for any suggestions/feedback on things to look for when choosing a DMT. I am thinking I'd stick with a dive shop I have been diving with before and had a good experience with, however am open to hearing suggestions of other places!

Hey ihr Lieben,
Alle Jahre wieder packt mich im Spätherbst bei Schmuddelwetter und Dunkelheit ab 16:30 das Verlangen wieder mit dem Zocken anzufangen.
Mein alter PC, den ich mir 2015 für ca 700€ zusammengebaut hatte, hat vor 2 Jahren die Flügel gestreckt (Hardware war noch vollkommen in Ordnung, die Probleme kamen mit dem Versuch, Win11 zu installieren).
Ich bin kein Fan der aktuellen leistungshungrigen TripleA-Games. Mir ist das irgendwie zu viel. Am liebsten würde ich wieder meine damaligen Lieblingsgames spielen: Overwatch; Battlefield 1; Star Wars Battlefront; GTA V; und am allerliebsten Minecraft in allen Variationen.
Für mich war die Gaming-Szene von 2012-2019 absoluter Peak. Danach war ich leider immer häufiger mit den alltäglichen Aufgaben, die einem das Leben eben stellt, beschäftigt und fand kaum noch Zeit zum zocken.
Warum diese ellenlange Einleitung? Ich weiß auch nicht, ich bin glaube ich aktuell einfach auf einem Nostalgie-Trip.
Naja, weiter zum eigentlichen Thema. Was würdet ihr empfehlen, wenn der Fokus vor allem auf dem Spielen der oben genannten Games liegt? Mein Budget ist eigentlich nicht gedeckelt, aber natürlich möchte ich klug und sparsam an die Sache herangehen. Ich würde mich wahrscheinlich am wohlsten mit einem Rahmen von 1000-1800€ (inkl. Monitor) fühlen. 1440p 100+ Hz wäre cool, aber muss nicht sein.
Schonmal vielen lieben Dank für eure Antworten.
Achja: Das waren die Specs meines alten PCs, just for fun:
AMD FX 8320
Sapphire Radeon R9 280X (3GB Grafikspeicher)
8GB DDR3 1600MHz RAM von Crucial
Gigabyte Mainboard (weiß leider nicht mehr genau welches)
1TB HDD, keine SSD
Zalman Z11 Gehäuse
Alle oben genannten Games liefen auf diesem System mit hohen Einstellungen flüssig. Daher muss ja, mit den deutlich performanteren Komponenten heutiger Tage ein recht günstiger PC drin sein, oder täusche ich mich?

2024.11.25 20:25 Gibbygail20 Breakthrough, Period or irregular bleeding?
I just got my Mirena IUD 3 weeks ago and started spotting last Sunday. Usually really light and brown with occasional red/pink. Saturday I woke up with breast tenderness and at least once a day I bleed a little heavier usually when sitting on the toilet. Outside of that a pantyliner takes care of me for most of the day. I can’t tell if it’s breakthrough bleeding, my actual period (it’s supposed to be this coming Thursday) or just irregular bleeding. (TMI) I was able to have sex with my bf multiple times this last weekend without any blood but a few hours later or the next morning I would cramp a little, dribble blood then spot the rest of the time if at all.
I’m not so worried that I feel like I need to call the dr but I’m just wanted to ask some more seasoned IUD users for their thoughts. Again, I only got it 3 weeks ago so I know that random bleeding and spotting is normal but how do I know my period from irregular bleeding since this is supposed to make your periods lighter and eventually stop? This bleeding is heavier than spotting when it happens but lighter than my usually periods. TYIA😅
