So I'm finally replacing a North Face backpack that after 15 years has worn out. My use case is for EDC/GYM/Work, day hikes and 2-3 days of travel. I carry both a 40oz yeti-style water bottle and swap out for a bladder on day hikes. I sometimes carry a Surface tablet and usb-c monitor. For fitment I'm 5'11 and about 180lbs.
Trying to find a bag that will last me just as long or longer.
I ordered a Mystery Ranch Blitz 30 yesterday, but suddenly am concerned about how tactical it looks. I'm not a tactical-cool guy and don't want to be perceived as such.
So now I'm looking at Goruck GR1's - knowing that I'd have to buy separate water bottle holders and admin panels.
Thoughts? Any suggestions for other BIFL packs?

I get Candela Obscura borrows a lot of things from Forged in the Dark, but I find it a lot more digestable compared to most Forged in the Dark games. I'm a huge mecha fan and Beam Saber has been something I've been trying to learn to run for ages but can never get my mind around it, so wanting to convert it into Candela Obscura's system. Any helpful suggestions?

So a girl rejected me one and a half month ago, which kinda broke me , because I really liked the girl. She was sweet , honest and good-looking.
When I disclosed to her about me having feelings for her she took a week or so to answer.. she said no
She respectfully said that she didn't have any feelings for me,nor she would ever develop one in the future....I was devastated.
Fast forward , I saw her today and didn't feel a thing( was deeply in love with her, and was almost heart broke this whole 45 days .and inbetween I used to text her , and did casual talks).
That's right I didn't feel a thing, my love for her was gone and she literally turned into another human being..and iam all the more happy for it. Now I wish her all the best and best of things and nothing more..and oh...we study in the same college and we meet a lot, nervous initially now I am relieved.

2024.11.25 20:54 Dear_Atmosphere8515 Got S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 running at Medium settings on Steam Deck at a stable 30-45fps. Here's how I did it.
So all you need is to download this specific optimization mod. There are a few versions, so make sure you download the MID one and that there are no other optimization mods running concurrently to this one:

I've tried all the different optimization mods available, and at least for this specific case this is the one that work best for Steam Deck by a wide margin, mostly because it ends up looking considerably better than the other ones along with the best frame consistency. Any of the higher-quality options of that mod work great for a bit and then the game crashes, which hasn't happened to me with the Mid version so far.
So, once you've pasted the Engine.ini file in the appropiate folder; just boot up the game and set the graphics to the Medium preset, along with FSR3 to Quality and FSR3 Frame Generation ON.
Finally, go to the Deck settings and set the Refresh Rate to either 60fps or 30fps depending on what feels best. I set mine to 60fps and the game looks and feels more fluid, but I'm sure 30fps is more stable despite a bit of input lag.
I assume this'll get better once the game itself gets patched and optimized, but for now this is beyond playable using this method.
Hope it works out for anyone else who wants to try it out!

I am looking to purchase a 2013 Model S P85. I will prefer this by saying I have driven a model 3 before (a rented one i drove to Las vegas) but never a Model S and my knowledge on this model is slim. I am trying to do a lot of research and get some insights. Someone my family knows is willing to sell me theirs for $20k. He has let borrow it for a week so I could get a feel for it. It seems too good to be true because there are a lot of plus sides I feel and very little cons. But the cons that are there are huge to me.
My main worry is it does a whine/whistle noise when accelerating. Sounds like i am going F150 speeds but I'm only doing 40 moh I've tried to research this and I am bit finding a lot of info on it or videos. Also the owner and my family just thinks it's normal "sounds of the future".
The owner did say he did replace the battery recently and I'm not sure if this is salvaged but I feel that it is.
I really mainly want to know is this car too old or too far gone to even consider buying. Any input is helpful. (Besides sarcasm).
