The screen size is not very important to me. I'm just wondering if its worth the extra 50 for the Ryzen CPU over the Intel.
I will be using this laptop for.
- Work, which is not CPU intensive at all.
- Studying
- Photoshop and Illustrator
- Maybe Ableton
- Maybe light gaming

hi! my name is geoff (pronounced like jeff) and i am a 22 yr old trans man.

i bring a lot to the table, i like to service my partners and tend to take on a very caregiving role. my number 1 priority within a relationship is communication, number 2 being mutual support. i go to therapy for many reasons, but one being so that i can strengthen my communication skills. the work i do in therapy is very important to me, and will probably be a life-long investment of my time as i have found it extremely beneficial. we can talk more about what kind of therapies i am working with in a more personal conversation.

I have a triple monitor setup that I use with an Aviatek G1000. All works very well with FS2020. Problem with MS2024 is getting my three screens aligned in the advanced settings. In MS2020 when rendering additional windows the screen(s) are a view of the cockpit & windows so it’s easy to line up everything. In MS2024 when I render additional windows the background switches to a rotating scene which makes it impossible. Does anyone have advice? Thanks Oh and the Aviatek G1000 does not work with MS2024 yet. Hope that happens soon though.

I'm just starting on the IVF process (after TTC for 6 months and not having success). I'm 39 (with only 5 months till I turn 40), and my partner is 44 and seems to have some male factor stuff going on (not sure how bad it is yet).
I got back upsetting day 3 labs that I'm having trouble making sense of:
FSH 15.1 (on a test with a reference range of Follicular: 3.5-12.5)
AMH 1.77 ng/ml
Estradiol 40 pg/ml
They haven't yet ordered an AFC test, and I'm not sure if they will.
I'm feeling confused about how to interpret this. In particular, a scary thing for insurance and in general is that BCBS Massachusetts apparently uses a strict cutoff of FSH <= 15.0, above which they say you have "Premature ovarian insufficiency." But, I have read about premature ovarian insufficiency, like this diagnostic guide, and they use higher cutoffs (20 to 40), they indicate lower AMH levels (under 1.5) and also describe symptoms like irregular periods and other signs of early menopause.
My periods are very regular (27-30 days), have not been diminishing in length, and I'd been using the ClearBlue ovulation predictor, which was showing normal rise in hormones around day 14 as expected. My apple watch's temp monitoring and the presence of sticky egg white most months all have also made me think I still ovulate.
An additional wrinkle is I have access to my partner's insurance and need to decide if I want to be on it rather than my own very soon before open enrollment is over. His is based in another state, covers fertility benefits and seemingly does so without prior auth. Their only requirement is that I not be in "Ovarian failure: premature (i.e., ovaries stop working before age 40) or menopause (i.e., absence of menstrual periods for 1 year)". They do explicitly cover "diminished ovarian reserve."
How screwed am I for successful IVF? How does this test result impact my prognosis?
Separately, how screwed am I for insurance coverage of IVF?

I grew up in Alabama and always had the best thanksgivings! I really want to some of the dishes I remember for my in laws this Thanksgiving but I’m struggling to find recipes that I know I can trust and seem like they’ll be what I’m looking for. Unfortunately I don’t have any living family left to get the recipes from and I haven’t lived in the south for decades.
Does anyone have a recipe they wouldn’t mind sharing or linking to that they know is great? Even just a blogger posting recipes that are tested would be great.
I’m trying to make cornbread stuffing that I know had sage, onion, and celery, broccoli casserole that had a super cheesy top, and Mac and cheese.

Hello. I just had my second pao surgery on my left hip. My right hip was way more severe than left. So I had assumed the healing process for the left hip wouldn’t be so hard. It’s been around 3 months post pao and I’m having pretty extreme tightness feeling on the outside part of my hip and when I twist my leg in there’s an excruciating sharp pain. I am also having knee pain along with this. When I sit down there’s a sharp feeling too. I’m nervous because I start a new job in January and I really want my hip to be good by then. Has anyone experienced this and is there a solution? I do have a doctor’s appointment with my surgeon, but I was wondering if anyone has taken any vitamins to help with this?
