2024.11.25 22:22 DIYEngineeringTx Update on experimenting on etching steel with a 5W diode laser.
I am also going to try to CerMark but I wanted to test if this method worked. Here’s what I did - Cleaned surface with acetone - 2 coats of spray paint - Used the laser engraver to burn off the paint on the logo - lightly cleaned the laser part with alcohol - Acid etched the exposed metal with hydrogen peroxide and muriatic acid - Removed the rest of the paint with a solvent
My knife has these thick grains on it which is why you see the fuzzy letterings.

Hi everyone, I'm making a Sythis deck for my girlfriend and wanted some feedback. I'm going down the Auras route and when goldfishing the deck it played rather different each game. Sometimes I was holding out on playing Sythis until I built a board state that promoted the triggers and sometimes I played Sythis turn 2 with cards cost reducers in hand and it played pretty turn by turn.

I just discovered there are two types of Catholic priests.
Religious Order priests join an order and take vows of obedience, chastity, and poverty.
Diocesan join the Bishop(?) Or dioceses and only take vows of chastity and obedience, but not of poverty.
Does anyone have more info on how this works? On diocesan priests?
I've been watching an adult catechism series on YouTube put up by OLM St. Jude. I wanted some more in depth info on the old faith. They never gave me much in Catholic School.
My favorite moment was the priest's discussion on angels. He looked at the class and declared angels were the reason for the planet's movements.
It's a wild lecture series, let me tell you.

I heard there was an arrest made for a phone thief and a bag of phones was recovered. Does anyone have any additional information?
I called Long Beach PD and they won't let me file a report over the phone or online- they said I need to be in person, but I'm back in Texas.
I'm curious how the recovered phones will be returned to their owners.

This is the best method I have seen so far, using the Exponentia Exotic Joker, to get truly massive scores in Cryptid (Modded) Balatro. This method that I show in the video can most definitely be further optimized, but I was curious if anyone has found a way to create even more massive scores with any other exotic/epic joker combinations? This method takes an already obsurdly high Mult and sets it to the 237th power, with an Exponentia that I upgraded thousands of times, and then retriggers that Exponentia exponentiation somewhere between 10-20 times, I believe. Therefore its doing something like this in notation: (((10^237)^237)^237)...)
Would love to see if anyone has any insights as to how to make this build even better!
