Hello!
I was wondering what peripherals will work with MSFS 2024 on the Xbox Series X?
I tried the Thrustmaster airbus sidestick and the Thrustmaster airbus throttle quadrant, but neither of them worked. This surprised me since I thought these were supposed to be compatible. Did I miss something? Or maybe I just plugged them in incorrectly? I don't know. If anyone knows a list of compatible peripherals on Xbox, I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

2024.11.25 23:20 cobacco17 Out of work for 6 months following layoffs, completely burnt out from interviewing
Title says most of it, been on the job search for half a year after being laid off from a SaaS startup role that paid six figures. Have made massive improvements to my resume and get maybe 2-3 interviews a month, where 90% do not go past the hiring screen or they make an offer to someone else immediately after and cancel. I've never hit a wall like this even in the past where I had less experience. It's completely demoralizing getting rejected after an interview for a job that would pay 40K less than my last role.
Not only is there a massive pay correction going on right now industry wide, but I am being asked to take writing exams, mental competency tests, go through 6 rounds of interviews with product managers, etc. I have never had this experience until this year. My last two TW roles were three rounds of interviews and then an offer, no tests or anything extra like that.
I'm really struggling to understand what is going wrong. 3 YOE in SaaS startups as an independent TW and 1 year of freelance/internship writing experience. I'm feeling out of options, I have tried everything and more: * Broadening my job search into TW-adjacent roles. They have all turned their nose because my experience is not specifically in those roles. * Working with recruiters, very few are coming with relevant job listings and even then the process feels super impersonal * Freelance work, not getting a lot of bids through places like Upwork
What are people doing to get hired in this climate?

I used to be in a fb group years ago for asexuals & none were virgins except 2. I believe those two were very young adults too, & I was surprised how many engaged in sex regularly. (Please forgive my ignorance but I thought asexual meant lack of sexual attraction, or lack of wanting to have sex. That's what it's meant for me, and a lot of these people said they are having sex once a week but identify as asexual so it threw me off). I know some said they were doing it for their partner. So, do virgin asexuals exist?

Iām going to try to shorten this as best as I can. Friend A, friend B, and I are all 23-24.
I deal with depression and anxiety a lot. Iāve been through a lot of stuff and I go through episodes sometime. I try not to talk too much about it because I donāt wanna be a buzzkill. My friends A and B both know what Iāve been through and have been super supportive of me. We hang out every now and then as a trio but I mostly hang out with and talk to A. Iām talking at least twice a month, sometimes every weekend depending on what we have going on. We see B rarely but try to get together as often as we can. A couple months ago I was very busy and also starting to slip into a depressive episode, and A noticed and told me she was giving me space. I told her thank you and that I appreciated it, and even reassured her that nothing was going on between us, I just wasnāt in the best space. I even told A and B a month in advance that I wasnāt going to hang out for a while because I wasnāt feeling good and I had some plans that took up the next few weekends, including seeing a childhood friend that I havenāt seen or talked to in months, and I didnāt wanna overdo my social battery. They said they understood and I immediately brought up something different that we could do together another time. About a month ago A and B hung out, and B came to me afterwards saying that A was complaining about me. She said she didnāt understand my need for space and didnāt understand why I could see my childhood friend instead of them. She also doesnāt understand why I canāt just talk about my problems or think positively so Iāll feel better. B defended me but wanted me to know how A really felt. I tried to talk to A without bringing B into it and she said she was fine and understood, but complained about me again to B after that. B didnāt tell me what she said because she didnāt want to make me even more upset but she did show me the message of her defending me to A. Now I donāt even want to talk to A anymore, and I havenāt been. I keep finding myself thinking of a message to send her and backing out of it. I want to confront A about this but donāt wanna jeopardize the trust between her and B. She doesnāt even have to understand what I go through but to act like she does and then go behind my back complaining because Iām going through something really just hurts my feelings. Iāve told her so much and I just regret it. I am there for her through everything and I never complain or throw it back at her because I want her to have a friend who hears and sees her. Iāve even given up spending time with my boyfriend to talk to her for hours about her problems. I guess I just need help navigating this because I canāt just not talk to her forever and her not know why. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

2024.11.25 23:20 flobbienoodle Possible Respitory Infection - What should I do?
I've already made an appointment to see a vet. Just wanted to preface that so I didn't get comments saying to do that.
So I noticed today when I picked up my hoggie that he was making a bubbling crackly sound and opening his mouth. Instantly, I assumed he has an RI. It makes sense given his low appetite lately and always being on the cool side. I'm wondering if anyone has suggestions for what I can do for him in the meantime until he sees the vet.
I'm assuming this is a low humidity issue. With the winter, the humidity's been at 20 on the hot side, 40 on the cool. I use aspen bedding, which is definitely not helping the humidity issue. I plan to clean out his enclosure, replacing the substrate. I probably should consider switching substrate as well after this situation is over.
Mostly, I'm thinking I should get a humidifer in the meantime to get the humidity up for him a smidge. Other than that, I'm not sure. Any ideas?
