I’m 26 year old female I have facial palsy on the left side of my face (minor case). Facial palsy is when your face is paralyzed due to trauma to the face so the muscles and or nerves in the face don’t work causing the face to be droopy (droopy eye lid, mouth, eyebrow etc) and also could cause a lazy eye (I have a lazy eye) I hate my face I’ve gotten about 5 surgeries to fix it. I fight so hard to get work done because I just want to look normal I’m tired of people being scared of me or asking me why I look the way I do. I feel like I’m ugly by default. I take care of myself well enough and I feel like my hair and body look good and I’m a genuine person but because of my facial deformity I feel like I’m automatically below average no matter how much effort I put into myself. I feel like I’m not further in life because I have a fear of going into new jobs and people treating me like I’m unintelligent/ slow or I have to work extra hard to prove that I’m like any other “normal” person. I will admit I’m alittle air headed but overall a decent to good worker. I don’t have too much trouble romantically besides basic stuff like people only wanting to hook up or failed talking stages etc.. (stuff that everyone probably has gone though). it’s hard explaining to people what I go though because I always get told “you look fine.” “You can’t notice it.” “Who cares what other people think.” But they don’t get what I deal with on a daily basis. Also I’ve had people treat me like I’m a child which is insulting. Pretty much I just wish I looked normal because I feel like I wouldn’t be treated in such a negative way. I died to Faust and when I reloaded my save I’m stuck floating in the air, I can’t move, I ah e no hud, and I can’t look sideways.
