2024.11.26 00:21 ChevyTruckMonthLover [25YrO Male] High speed car accident- suspected concussion or worse. What to do?

I was traveling 60 mph down a two lane freeway 3 days ago and a lady pulled out from a stop sign and we collided. I was wearing my seatbelt, airbag deployed but seatbelt failed and I hit my head on windshield and made a perfect circle crack in the windshield.
The ER took a CT scan with and without contrast of my head, neck, chest, abdomen and pelvis and told me there were no major injuries or internal bleeding that they could see and blood work looked okay.
The day after the surgery to today I’ve been stumbling over my words, have a hard time finding the right words and headaches. I’m scared that it is something more serious than a concussion so I’m going to see my doctor tomorrow for my follow up.
My question is, would a CT scan have shown all the dangerous possibilities and this is just a concussion or could this be something serious like a brain bleed that wasn’t caught?

I'm trying to decide between Ring Battery Doorbell Pro vs Ring Battery Doorbell Plus. I think the only real difference between these two is "3D Motion Detection".
My front door is 50ft from the curb in semi-busy neighborhood. I obviously don't want to bother the doorbell if someone is walking by, and only when someone is actually on my property (less than 50ft away from the door). I feel like it's only useful when you have short distance to the sidewalk, and want to avoid triggering the doorbell when someone walking by.
So I'm wondering, do I need "3D Motion Detection"??

I’m gonna preface everything by saying that I am a complete beginner at PC Building.
I bought a Desktop PC from a friend after he upgraded since I’ve been missing a PC for years (and anything will do at this point), and I ran into an issue when I bought a graphics card that requires more power (minimum 700w) than what the pre-existing power supply can feed (500w). So this is the question:
What power supply would be recommended in this scenario? Keeping in mind that I am planning to further upgrade and switch parts down the road.
I don’t know if they matter, but these are my parts (quoted my friend + graphics card I bought):
Motherboard: MSI H81M-E34 (MS-7817) Intel H81 (Lynx Point) Socket 1150
CPU: Intel Core i7-4790 @ 3.60GHz (8CPUs) Socket H3

I’m thinking of holding a one day - actually a couple hours - ceramics class to make ornaments with friends. But I know the process takes a long time. Im struggling with how to do it in just one class and have thought of 2 ideas:

  1. Have participants glaze premade shapes, take them to get fired and then deliver to participants.
Or
  1. Have participants make their own from wet clay, under glaze it, take it to get bisque fired then I put a clear glaze on it, fire it again and then I deliver them to the participants.
Do these make sense? What have others done?

Julie's Storywalking has me wondering if Fromville is operating on a single timeline, or is Fromville a crossing point for multiple timelines? If it's a single timeline, Julie cannot make changes to the timeline, but she can observe. She is limited to do only the things that she has always done on the timeline. However, if we are at a point where multiple timelines can exist, changes can be made, but they won't affect all timelines present. Right? I think this is what Ethan was getting at. If she's a Storywalker she's only able to operate inside one story. But if there are multiple timelines, she can create new timelines by making changes. I'm going to end up ordering a book and reading about all the paradoxes of time travel and how this could work because now I'm fascinated, but I've heard it suggested already that there are multiple timelines happening, and I think it's bigger than just the little changes in the cellar door or the way someone's hair is parted. I think it has to do with timelines crossing each other. We have so many different eras represented in the buildings, the visions, the outfits. People experiencing memories from different timelines, characters seeming to "reincarnate" or have different versions of themselves. And now we have an official time traveler. (Or 3? Assuming Randal, Marielle, and Julie have this ability because of the Cicada Coma).
I'd love to hear anyone else's thoughts or opinions.

2024.11.26 00:21 Able-Lunch-2719 Constant intermittent heart palpitations for days

27y Male
For the past few weeks I have been suffering from what feels like ectopic beats. My heart rate is normal, in-between 60-100. The rhythm is also normal apart from the isolated clusters of what I presume to be ectopics.
I normally wouldn't be worried, if said ectopics weren't happening intermittently at intervals of a range of around 30 secs - a minute or 2 for days. The Last one I had happened for 3 days straight before it stopped for a week, only for it to return and now I have had it again for nearly 48 hours.
The palpitations can either feel like an extra beat, or a skipped/premature weak beats followed by a thud. Sometimes ill get so many extra beats in Quick succession that if I was connected to an ecg it would probably show that my heart rate went instantly to 180 for a second only to normalise back to normal rate. Or maybe they're not extra beats and it actually is instantly increasing to around 180 for a second or two only to normalise?
History:
I had quite the truamatic experience in university 5 years ago now when I very intelligently decided to have a weed edible brownie despite barely ever smoking weed before and was not aware that it may as well be a very different drug when you eat it rather than smoke it.
Probably not a good idea considering I already proposedly suffer from anxiety in general anyway because of my autism apparently. But hey ho there you go.
Initially, it was fun. Everything around me was indeed very funny for some reason and I couldn't stop laughing. Everything was just so amusing. Until it wasn't.
It started with what felt like internal vibrations in my feet alongside a general feeling of unease and what felt like a lighting wave of anxiety in my stomach. It was so uncomfortable that I couldn't sit still. The internal vibrations rose up my body through my legs until eventually it reached my chest and that's when I lost it.
I had a massive panic attack. I was on my knees with my face facing the floor hyperventilating completely freaking out. I was convinced I was going to die there and then. Like completely 100% convinced I'm dead and there's nothing I can do.
My mate called the ambulance for me before deciding to take his drugs and run off leaving me in the house alone to fend for myself. That's when I felt the left side of my body including my face droop - classic stroke symptom. That's when I knew for sure I'm dead. If I didn't truly know before then I certainly do now.
I laid there completely frozen in fear unable to move, accepting my fate that I was going to die. Pins and needles in my whole seized up body which I later learned only happened because of severe hyperventilation. Shockingly though, I did not die and the classic stroke symptoms subsided and I was able to move again.
Ambulance came hours later and took me to hospital because my heart rate was around 180bpm (was still in panic mode and freaking out and was still high) they checked everything out and everything was fine and apparently I did not have a stroke and they couldn't explain why I experienced that stroke symptom.
This experience led me on an array of events of me thinking I'm dying because of chest pain here or a heart palpitation there and I've had multiple trips to the ER since that experience in university. Everything they've done bloods, ecg and stuff. It's always came back okay.
This experience essentially led me to develop a phobia of my heart and phobia about my general health.
I'm much better mentally 5 years on now and said phobias have certainly lessened and are more managable. But a few weeks ago, I had an episode of severe palpitations that lasted 20-30 minutes apparently caused by months of bad sleeping pattern, junk food eating and drinking a lot of pepsi max which has caffeine in and barely going outside. My heart was palpitating with almost every beat. It was so frequent that I couldn't tell if the palpitations were just ectopics but made to feel like tachycardia/afib since it was almost with every beat or if it was actually something like tachycardia/afib.
I went the ER, of course as I got checked out on ecg the palpitations stopped. I went home, had a couple isolated ones here and there then went to sleep. When I woke up the next morning is when I started having these intermittent clusters of what I presume to be extopics that last usually for days then will go away for days or a week and come back. It's been like this for about 3 weeks now.
I thought it was accumulated stress yet to vacate my body due to the episode of palpitations a few weeks ago as I definitely was very anxious and scared thinking I might die. But it's been weeks now. And it comes and goes. And I've never had palpitations at this frequency and intensity with this much volume before. Not even 5 years ago when I was at my worst mentally did I have palpitations this bad.
What do you guys think? (Sorry for long rant.)
