2024.11.26 01:00 bombbrowngirl Switching from Workiva to Active Disclosure

My company went up public Dec 2023, and after a few quarters of late filings, weā€™re beginning to get into a regular cadence and things are going well and we filed Q2 and Q3 timely. I started as Sr Manager of SEC reporting with the firm in May, and had never used Workiva but Iā€™ve found it a great platform and picked it up very quickly. I file all the quarterly financials as well as all the other random things that come up (S-1ā€™s, 8Kā€™s, prospectus, etc) so me as the Controller are the heaviest users of the platform.
Because of reasons the CFO just informed us that heā€™s exploring switching to Active Disclosure but letā€™s be honestā€¦the only reason for the change is that itā€™s cheaper. I DO NOT want to change over.
Heā€™s at least including us in the discussion with the AD Rep next week but wanted to get some thoughts? Anyone made the switch and are happy about the change? Or for those who use AD, what do you like and what do you hate. It wld be great to hear from anyone who as used both and can give a good comparison I can start exploring and bring up at the meeting.

7 - I like to go to the gym. I've seen a few people post recently that they were looking for someone to effectively be their gym friend. I quite like this idea and would happily do that. Routine advice, encouragement and just someone to keep each other company in-between sets.
8 - I also like to sink some time into games. I have a backlog that Iā€™m never ever going to get through. I've just started Stardew Valley again so that's me doomed.
Why am I posting on Reddit? I'm here for some fun casual conversation. I miss the social aspect of being at shows and meeting new people so making friends and having conversations on here scratches that itch.

I have a few team Prime/FA Prime dupes of my lineup players that I'm wondering how best to use. The uses I can see are: - workshop (for a triple prime pack) - limit break the lineup player - and now also transcend the lineup player
I know we don't know yet how costly it'll be to transform a Prime into a Sig once fully transcended but the idea of making my Freeman'23 a Sig is VERY enticing...
The FA Primes have half the value of a normal Prime in limit break, but "full value" (3 stars) in transcendance so it feels like transcendance would be the best use for those?
