2024.11.26 00:29 FoxN7 Met this really cool agent from a different brokerage and I'm wondering if I can ask him to mentor me
I just become a licensed real estate agent in July and joined KW. Now I'm loving it so far at KW they are giving me a ton of educational meetings and tools to help me and others cultivate. My mentor is awesome too she's very sweet and has taught me a lot!
I did an open house yesterday and I got a ton of people but the first guy was a realtor. This guy was awesome and super funny I was nervous about doing the open houes but he made it feel a lot better. He's been in the business for 20 years and works for a different broker but I got along very well with him and I'm wondering if I can ask him to mentor me even though I'm in a different brokerage? I feel like I could learn a lot from him.
Basically: Can I ask someone to mentor me from a different brokerage or is that not possible?

I was set to order a 2025 F150 Ecoboost King Ranch? The dealer could not find the option for max recline seats on the order site. It was there on my version of the printed order guide but not on the newest version at the dealer. It is not on the Build and Price site. The dealer indicated that might have been discontinued. Are max recline seats not available anymore on the F150 for 2025?

2024.11.26 00:29 LastEcho189 How to best recover droplet without ssh login
I use DO to host a personal flask website. Recently I've needed to change it so am trying to login to my server. Unfortunately I've since changed laptop and can't log in via ssh accordingly (old laptops ssh key only). I've tried to use the recovery shell but it's buggy as anything and will not let me copy across new laptops public key without corrupting it. I tried to alternate method on the docs of changing the /etc/ssh/sshd_config but could not find a PasswordAuthentication no line to change to yes as the docs said and adding a new line didn't help. Am I missing something obvious here?
I'm utterly fed up with so many dead ends and very close to binning the droplet entirely and starting again with another provider, it shouldn't be this hard to add an ssh key.

So my grandpa was diagnosed with dementia 4 years ago and me and my mom have been taking care of him ever since. With no help from anyone else within the family. 1 month ago he started acting very weird so we took him to the hospital to get checked out. Turns out he had pneumonia in the left lung. He was able to move around normally but after he got sick and recovered the doctors said he need some physical therapy to get back his strength. So he spent about 2 weeks in a physical therapy center. We would go visit almost Dailey to check on him. But his other daughter who hasn't been around for years found out that he wasn't doing good and came and visited him and put her name down for when he would need to leave. We didn't know she did that. And we don't have power of attorney or anything like that. So one day I went to see him and he was gone. Come to find out the daughter (katie) checked him out without telling us and took him out to my grandpa's brother house. His brother has not visited him in several months and hasn't been around much at all for the past few years. We have lived with my grandpa for almost 15 years on the same property. When he got sick we took great care of him. His girlfriend even stayed amd helped tremendously when he got sick. They filed for gaurdianship claiming we haven't taken good care of him. The brother told me and my mom that grandpa will stay at his house from now on. So we got a lawyer and are trying to win gaurdianship over grandpa imstead of them getting it. It just hurts because we've been his main caretakers for years. Just for people who haven't done a damn thing this whole time swoop in and take him from under our noses. Do you guys think we will win? I want my grandpa back. And I want to protect everything he's worked for. It's just a messy situation. We are hoping to win this thing and bring him back home.

H20 aqui. Sou deficiente visual desd nascença praticamente. Eu sempre lidei muito bem com isso, sempre levei uma vida quase normal tirando algumas poucas limitações. Tem alguns poucos amigos que cresceram comigo desde a infância então temos uma relação normal, porém, de um tempo pra cá noto que as pessoas se afastam de mim ou nem se aproximam. Sou uma pessoa muito tímida, então tenho muita dificuldade de me aproximar das pessoas pessoalmente e na maioria das vezes as pessoas que não me conhecem me tratam como incapaz, geralmente se dirigindo aos meus acompanhantes perguntas que deveriam serem feitas a mim. Por exemplo “será que ele quer uma agua?” Kkkkk patético, eu sei, mas nunca liguei muito para isso. Por causa de todas essas dificuldades para construir novas relações reais eu passei a fazer amigos on-line. Uma dessas pessoas é um rapaz que conheço há quase 10 anos etemos hobbies em comum. Esse ano consegui conhecê-lo pessoalmente e é notório a diferença na forma dele me tratar pôs esse encontro. Mais recentemente, conheci uma garota aqui no reddit, estávamos desenvolvendo uma conversa super legal, até que ela me pediu meuinsta. Não tive saída, tive que contar da minha deficiência pq ela iria notar pelas fotos né. Depois que eu falei, ela simplesmente parou de me responder kkkkkk. Olha, se eu não tivesse um psicológico bom ja teria enlouquecido hahaha. Ps:antes que me perguntem, eu utilizo um celular com leitor de tela em voz para escrever aqui. Currently posting from the cell phone lot that has at least 75+ open parking spots.
Can we please have someone’s entire job dedicated to handing out fines to everyone who parks on the side of the highway instead of using the cell phone lot? It’s more than a pet peeve, it’s an accident waiting to happen.
There are about 40 signs that say no parking with threats of fines and today an SPD cruiser drove right by them all because I guess they had better things to do.

Okay so, i’ve worked here for about 2 months. When i started working i realized there was no manager on site & they let me lock up by myself on DAY 1. The CEO usually contacts us through facetime on the work phone but I don’t have his personal number because him or his managers (all remote) never contact me through phone only email.
So we lock the door with a bike lock, the door itself has a lock but we ( the sales associates and i) don’t have the key so we are instructed to lock the door with a bike lock really right !! the door automatically locked !! so now i can’t get in…. i emailed my boss. i’m so sad because we have appointments on wednesday ( we are closed tuesdays)
my boss lives in California 😭😭
